What guests think

Travellers choose Hampton Inn by Hilton Silao-Aeropuerto Bajio for its proximity to BJX airport, frequent free shuttle, friendly staff, and generally clean, comfortable rooms, while noting some noise from nearby trains and highway and a few maintenance and service hiccups.

Breakfast is widely praised, though a number of guests experienced slow or understaffed service, occasional lack of replenishment, and some reports of flies in the dining area. There’s a decent gym, but the pool is frequently unavailable, very cold, or in need of better upkeep. Best suited for short stays before or after flights rather than for sightseeing.

I highly recommend The Hampton Inn in Silao. I have no complaints at all. The staff was friendly and helpful, the property, including my room, was spotless. The food in the restaurant was wonderful, with a lot to choose from. I used the pool and the fitness center, and both were top shelf. I will definitely stay again if I can. A+

The staff welcome us upon arrival. I schedule my airport drop off and pick up times. The hotel also offers long term parking while you are on vacation. We received 2 glasses of red wine. 🍷 Bed was very comfortable. I was able to recharge and be ready for a busy week ahead.

It offered spa service. (Massages) that's the first time I saw this type of service in a medium scale hotel. The gym had everything I needed and open 24hrs which is a plus for me. The chicken avocado salad was good. Room and hallways were clean and smelled nice. No selection on English speaking movies / sports / tv. Only news and 1 channel that had English speaking movies I also noticed flies and some bugs in and around the dining area. Indicates kitchen could be cleaner.

One suggestion - since the room has one switch as the main cutoff for all the lights, there is no way to leave a light on in the bathroom. You really should have some kind of a night light for the bathroom area.

I liked that they have a 24-hour shuttle. Definitely great advantage. The biggest issue is that they are close to railroad and so trains pass and make a lot of noise. I got there in the early morning so I don't know if the train passes at night. Breakfast is OK considering the price I paid for the room.

The courtesy shuttle was patiently waiting for me at the airport, just as promised. The driver, Gabriel, was efficient and friendly. Breakfast was full-optioned, filling, and delicious. Honestly everything was great. The reason for the three star was because we spoke with the hotel staff prior to arrival to schedule our shuttle pick-up. Upon arrival at the airport it took us a little while to get our luggage (which was not our fault) and we did not receive a courtesy call to ask if we were still taking the shuttle, they just left us. We had a baby with us and we were exhausted. That is really the only thing I can complain about. Other than that, our stay was great. The uber they recommended us was amazing. So if you need to get around ask for

Once arrived at the property we were welcomed by the front staff and the driver offer to take our luggage to our room. Excellent customer service. Also, the breakfast was good. We arrived at night and had a chance to order from the restaurant onsite, food was good and staff was very efficient. Overall, would definetely stay here again.

The prop. sits in a somewhat desolate area off a major highway about 5 mins. from the airport. However, the staff members were super great, friendly, engaging and approachable. The restaurant attendant was even very welcoming and approachable. The quality of the free breakfast was simply excellent. The A/C in the common areas was not on which made the prop. feel hit and clammy. However the A/C in the room worked great. Checking in and out was a breeze.
