Property was beautiful. While there are three pools, two were always filled with partygoers however there was never anyone in the serenity pool and it was clean and relaxing. Location of the hotel is huge as we walked to everything nearby. Check your final bill before you leave as we were charged an extra $100 a night due to a “system error” however once I pointed it out they fixed it quickly before our checkout. Would not recommend for kids as it does seem to have a livelier crowd. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Very nice hotel. This was our third trip to key west but first time at the marker. Great location to Duval and the harbor. So much to do at both. The pools were very nice. Live entertainment at the pool everyday. Breakfast and the pool bar were good each day that we went. We will definitely be staying here when we visit key west again.

Love this place! Been here several times over the years and always a good stay. The only complaint is the daily parking fees ($42.00 per day) along with a $54 daily resort fee on top of several taxes so be ready to add an additional $100 a day to your stay. Other than that, this place is great.

The Marker is located right on the Key West Harbor, a great location within easy walking distance of many restaurants, bars and of course Duval Street. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodated all of our requests quickly which we were able to submit by text message. The pool and bar are nice, with a lively atmosphere. If you want something more quiet, there is the Serenity pool and garden area for adults only. Our room was located on the second floor with a tremendous view of the harbor. At night we could sit on our spacious balcony and listen to the live music at the bar/restaurant next to the property. If you want privacy, shutting the screen door eliminated all of the noise. This was our third visit to Key West, and I would highly recommend The Marker for your stay.

Pools were much smaller in person and they allow outsiders and locals to use those pools. FYI the adult only pool is in a completely different area than the bar/restaurant. It’s secluded and doesn’t have any bathrooms or bar service. Rooms don’t get cleaned until late afternoon. Roosters will wake you up. Great location and very well maintained.

This is a nice resort with friendly staff. We had a covered balcony overlooking the pool and harbor, which was our favorite part of the room. The location is also great, being near lots of shops and restaurants. Two small complaints: -we stayed for 6 nights and only had room service once, after we requested it at the front desk. The cleaning staff always came around 4pm while we (and probably most other guests) were getting ready for dinner. One staff walked in without even knocking while we were getting dressed. -the pools are not exclusive to resort guests. There are three total pools that can accommodate 20 or so people each, so if a big group comes it does throw off the balance and makes it tough to get a lounge chair. The third pool is adult-only and does not have a bar or music. It was quiet and most guests didn’t seem to know it was there.

We love the location of the property. The parking is great and the bike racks in the garage are awesome to lock our bikes up at night. The bad, the rooms were showing wear. Our ceiling had water damage on it, the bathroom had a light hanging out of the ceiling and needed caulking really bad along the tile. The bathroom door knob was broken and it had been slammed into the wall that is tile and was broken. Carpets were dirty in our room and in our families room and the hallways. We were there on the 4th last year and had so much fun we decided to return. We love the pool entertainment (especially Ike Kanakanui on Wednesday) and that’s why we decided to return for our second annual 4th of July trip, but we were very disappointed in the music for Independence Day. They had a Spanish girl singing lots of Latin music and everyone we were in the pool with were disappointed. We had brought a small speaker to play some music in between sets and after she was finished and everyone was requesting us to play music. We talked our family into joining us and we may not stay there next year.

I liked the sunscreen dispenser, ice water and clean restrooms at the pool. (The sunscreen dispenser was empty one of the days I was there.) Liked the Serenity Pool (a good respite once the spring breakers got there). I liked the room robes, loved the balcony and that it's lit up all night. Super convenient location, walkable to many places you'd want to go. Very comfortable bed, very soundproof rooms. People on both sides, and I literally never heard a thing once. I loved my stay and am only letting you know the following things to help you keep other guests happy. There were little black fly-like bugs in the bathroom, in the sink and tub area. On the first morning I was there, Housekeeping came by at 10 and asked if I wanted service. I said yes, please give me one minute, I'm just heading out. She said yes but never came back. I got back to the room at about 4 and it hadn't been made up yet. I called the front desk and they sent someone right up; she was only there for about 5 minutes and didn't leave any clean coffee cups. On the last day, they knocked at about 10:50am, and I opened the door and said I'm checking out, I'll be done in a couple of minutes. She said Checkout is at 11. I said Well it's not quite 11 yet, she stared at me and walked away. I suspect it's a language barrier, but when they're your point of contact in the room, it's a little challenging. Last thing, no hot water in the bathroom sink. Luiz at the Front Desk - very nice! Would def come back.

I liked the proximity to shopping and eating. I did not like the cleanliness of the room. There were stains on the carpet and curtains, there were hairs in the shower, when our bed each day, the sheets were not pulled up and garbage was left on the balcony, our coffee maker did not work, our room was very noisy; every sound from above us would wake us up all night long.

Pool was dirty with potatoes slices, trash & fruits from drinks, and oily substances. Dirty inside & around the edges of the pool. Mattress were both very lumpy and uncomfortable. Pillows were hard as a rock. Walls are paper thin. Gets loud in late night when it’s close to closing time. This is more of a party hotel beat for ages 20 - 40 We have been to many hotels and resorts in Key West. Great location but there are several places to stay in the same area. Wasn’t horrible but won’t be staying here again.

I have stayed at the Mark or more times than I can. Remember, it’s our favorite spot but this last trip I noticed they have really neglected the place., it looked like the carpet has not been cleaned in years if ever, the carpet in my room was almost too nasty to walk on barefoot with several stains. There was some drywall repairs that were never finished, in my opinion the rooms could just use a complete refreshing

We enjoyed our stay at The Marker. The hallway carpeting is in desperate need of replacing (it’s quite smelly), but the room was very clean. The walls, however, are paper thin and you can hear your neighbors at regular speaking volume as well as all the hallway traffic at all hours. The three pool areas and pool bar was exceptional and the resort is walkable to many bars, restaurants, shops, and excursions. I would stay again but I would try another resort before returning to The Marker.

The location was beautiful. Resort was clean and amazing. Staff were perfect. I loved the big chair out front. Close walk to Duval. 3 pools that were really nice. The serentiy pool was exceptional. Parking easy. Rooms modern and kept really clean. Highly recommend.

The staff were all very friendly and nice. The drinks at the pool bar were good and reasonably priced. the grounds are clean and well kept and the hotel is walkable to Duval and lots of good restaurants. The only negative I have is that my wife and I both found the bed to be uncomfortable. I would still stay there again and would recommend it to anyone going to Key West.

This building is in a great location that is walkable to almost all of historic downtown key west. There are many restaurants and bars close by to choose from. There is also a stop right near it for the free Duval bus loop. All amenities were very nice and well kept. The rooms were nice and clean. As others stated, the walls are very thin and you can hear everything your neighbor is saying and doing. Was also a little disappointed that the tv’s in the room only had 60ish cable channels and did not have any smart tv options but that is obviously a minor personal complaint.

Second time staying at hotel. This visit we were in a standard Queen room. It was a nice size room, but the bed was hard as a rock. Just an old mattress sitting on top of plywood. Nothing like the bed we had in first visit (it was a suite). We complained to front desk after 2 nights. They said they may be able to move us, but not until the next day. (It was NYE.) They also said the hotel was in midst of changing out mattresses; a fact which was later disputed by different staff. No one ever contacted us about the availability of moving to a new room. On check out day the cleaning crew entered our room and said their records showed room was vacant. So someone moved us to a new room in system, but never told us. We eventually got the daily service charge removed from our bill. The room cleaning never occurred before 4pm; on NYE they were so late getting to our room I had to speed shower. The hotel property is nice, but the daily fees are excessive for what you get.

We stayed at The Marker December 3 to 11. We flew directly into Key West, so we did not need a car. If you are driving, parking is available on property. Our stay was wonderful!! The room was freshly painted. The beds were comfortable with extra blankets provided quickly when requested. The bathroom is large with both a shower and a tub. Within the shower there were soap gels and shampoo from a local Key West Co. All the people were all very accommodating and friendly. Our room had a balcony overlooking the warm pool (one of 3). When you stay at The Marker you are in the middle of the action. You are close to the Wharf (50 feet away), Duval Street (3 blocks) and major restaurants (all over the place). What’s best is that even though you are close it is quiet. You are within walking distance of the Southern Most Point, The Butterfly Museum, and The Ernest Hemingway House. For the holiday season Key West was decorated with holiday themes. We participated in the parade and rode the trolley to see the nightly light show around town. We saw two different live shows while in town. Both “The Nutcracker” and “Into the Woods” were entertaining and had a local flare to them. If you are not into drinking, there are so many other things to do. The in-house concierge made recommendations and provided $ off coupons for us to use. This was our fourth time visiting Key West and by far it was the best! I can highly recommend The Marker based on location, people, and facilities! You will not

Nice looking and great location, but cheaply built (walls are paper thin, hear neighbors every night and anyone talking in the hallway), view was terrible and beds were worse- think they’re still the original ones from when it was built and were cheap then. I’ve never had back problems in a hotel but my wife and I both had horribly sore backs the entire time we were there.

Wonderfully convenient for walking round key west - a beautiful boutique hotel. Underground parking which in key west is fantastic. Lovely room with spacious bathroom, separate shower and bath. Could do with some shower gel in the bath, but nice touch for a bath bomb! Gorgeous pools and bar area. Right next to the marina for a wide range of bars and restaurants as well as trips. Walking distance to Duvall street and everything going on. Counting have asked for more! Would definitely return and recommend.

The Marker is a wonderful resort, close to everything Key west has to offer. Easily walkable, near the pier and all the attractions , but a quiet retreat and oasis from the bustle outside. Our suite was luxurious, and overlooked palm trees and two pools. The rooms are clean and beautifully appointed with lovely amenities. The concierge, Sabrina, was very helpful and made our stay enjoyable. I can’t speak highly enough about this resort. Book it!!

While I really like this property if you want to be close to the action of key west yet not in the party zone. This is perfect. Love that it is so near to harbor walk and restaurants! I got into a dispute with the service staff regarding my breakfast coupon. I paid for 3 but her records indicated just 2 and was denied in a way that was unfriendly! Later I showed my receipt and the coupon was accepted. She could have been nicer about this! It’s just a breakfast coupon! Breakfast was great!

While the property is 4 star, the staff most time was 1 star. Tried to call the front desk for 20 minutes with a busy signal, housekeeping no answer. Walked to the front desk, 3 staff standing there talking, no one near a phone. Room advertised with a balcony, perfect view of the parking garage wall 20 feet away and an alley where the garbage trucks roamed. First night came to the room at 4:30 and room wasn’t made. Response was the staff works until 5:30. Short description, Ritz prices with Motel 6 service.

We love the Marker. The staff is wonderful. If you need a concierge, Sabrina and Rachel are helpful and charming. Karolina and Jason at the pool bar are friendly and fun. The location of the hotel is extremely convenient and having bikes to rent on site makes getting to the southern part of the island quick and easy. The rooms are clean and large. If you would like a quieter room, I would suggest a room on the serenity pool or garden view. If you would like a Key West experience room with live music floating through the palms and sound of pool or boats, I suggest pool view or harbor view. This was a trip with friends and couples and we all enjoyed meeting at the pool and hitting the live music at the establishments nearby for happy hour and beyond. Truly a gem in KW! Thank you to The Marker!

The hotel was very nice. The first room we were given was recently painted and the smell of fresh paint was too strong. We were moved to a different room. The staff at the desk was not very good. Getting the room changed was difficult and she was nearly impossible to understand.

The Marker has a great location, close to the piers and great shops and restaurants. The room which had a partial view to the water was of a good size, had a comfortable bed and nice robes to wear while there. Parking was also available at the hotel site. There are various options for breakfast and what we ordered was very tasty and at a reasonable price. I fully recommend the Marker!

This is a hotel that I had not stayed at before, but will definitely try to stay at again for future trips to Key West. It is near the KW Harbor so great restaurants & shops are a very easy walk. My visit was for diving and there were a multitude of shops that were again walking distance. It was also quiet (except for a few of the KW rooster crows) although the Duval street action was an easy walk

We liked being so close to restaurants, shopping and boat tours! We enjoyed our stay and loved the on site restaurant and bar. Food and beverages were excellent. We love the pool area , it’s so clean including the restroom and awesome entertainment on the weekend. The employees go out of their way to assist you ! That was our 4 th time staying there. The Marker was clean, modern, and close to Duval St. Located near restaurants and water excursions. The live poolside entertainment was excellent (afternoons only). The bar/restaurant onsite closes at 5:00 pm-ish due to so many nearby options. Overall excellent place to stay.

My stay was so much fun.Best Pool party's, everyday, DJ and bands. Food is amazing, breakfast and lunch. I walked to Schooners at night and to Duval Street. Staff was wonderful and friendly. I will be back. Beds were so comfortable.

Property was very nice, clean and updated. Staff were less than helpful. Bar and restaurant were lacking and very limited hours.

Great overall. Location is perfect. Staff was kind. Only two suggestions: 1. Keep the bar open later. The only bar on the property is by the pool and closes right at 6pm. 2. The Hotel market/store is very limited. Could use a few more options.
