Very comfortable, clean room. Drive-in theater right on the other side of parking behind a privacy fence. Rooms have radio codes to listen to the movies next door shown on four screens. Unfortunately, we stayed after Labor Day when the theater only shows films on the weekends and we were there during the week.

What a very cool place to stay. Clean, bright with updated rooms: giant bed (the John Wayne room ) & bigger shower. There was a complimentary coupon for the old school 4 screen drive in movie theatre next door too. UVM parent’s weekend and still not as pricy as the bigger chains. Support local businesses. Two thumbs up.

We stayed 3 nights, and what was a surprise was we were next door to the Drive-In theatre (4!), and because we were guests of the Starlight Inn, we could attend the movies for free! Nice. There was a small fridge, microwave and small coffee machine (not a Keurig; you had to use their packets which were like teabags [sorry, my husband used it and couldn't remember the name]). There was a way to turn down the brightness of the alarm clock (on the bottom). You just need something thin and strong. No timer on the TV, but that was minor. A king-size bed! Nice tub/shower unit. Very clean. We were in the "Julia Roberts" room. There was an easy chair, and a desk and a chair, two sinks, lots of towels (SOFT!!!), and tissues! We were close to the street, and that was a little noisy, but it was crowded because it was a holiday weekend. We booked two weeks before, so there were slim pickings. Overall, very nice! I'd stay there again!

The property sits right next to the Drive in theater and you can get in for free by staying at the property. Its just a cute little place with different themed rooms. We had Tom Cruise. We were too tired to go to the drive in but its a great amenity.

The room was immaculate. Although no one was on the property, it was easy to reach them by phone. The bed was comfortable (not so much for me because I don't like memory foam). Room well laid out, not quite so easy bath and toilet for handicapped. Would recommend highly.

We routinely seek out the Starlight Inn whenever we come to Burlington to visit our UVM student. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Having a sink/vanity outside of the bathroom is a big plus. Rates are so much more reasonable than in town. We will continue to stay here.

This property was amazing! Incredibly clean and the room themes were a fun touch. Beds were comfortable the bathroom was huge with accommodations for handicapped access. Love that you could have access to the Drive-In with your room key. Just a spectacular experience.

Great comfortable spacious room. Everything you would expect from a two star hotel. Good Wi-Fi, good temperature control. My only problem was the thick memory foam topper to the mattress, which made it impossible for me to sleep, like sleeping in Big canyons, and hills. Didn’t expect that—I didn’t realize just how horrible it was. So if you love that, then this is the motel for you!

I’ve stayed at the Starlight Inn a few times, and each time it’s been a wonderful experience. The individual rooms are themed for actors and/or actresses or iconic duos, the rooms are always clean and tidy, and I have had no complaints over all of my visits. Really a wonderful business and a joy to stay in.

Great spot when visiting the Burlington area. Quick check in, clean, good amount of space, counter area for kitchenette, wish the bed were more firm as it was a bit soft for us, otherwise great place to stay!! Convenient access to groceries and you can see the screens for the drive in theater from the hotel, which would be fun in summer!

Overall quality of the property was excellent. Room was tastefully decorated and clean. The weather was warm and the room could have benefited from a little more cross ventilation to cool it off in the evening. Facility was quiet, easy and close parking, and it felt generally safe.

We've stayed before and loved it. This time, we found the bed linens irritating, almost scratchy. Don't know if they changed laundry vendors or not. Would stay again and hope they solve that problem.

No staff on site for check-in. You had to call a number that was posted on office door. This could prove tricky if you are an international traveller with no phone service. The room is advertised as having on-site staff available for checking in. However, the room was immaculate and there was the added bonus of free tickets to the outdoor movie theatre next door, which came as a pleasing surprise. So overall, we enjoyed our stay- just a pity the check-in was not great.

Educate yourselves on the law with ADA regarding service animals. Don’t hang up on the caller…intentionally the second time…and then ask stupid questions about if the dog is going to pee in the room and if am going to ‘service’ the animal. Don’t say I can have the service dog but have to pay a pet fee. Illegal. Don’t say you want to see papers. Illegal. Also, no reason to be so rude and sarcastic. Your room wasn’t cheap. It was wonderful. And I paid good money for it. . I am not a joke as a person with a disability.

When we arrived to check in the office was closed and I had to call a phone number posted on the door. We were instructed that our key was left under a flower pot outside our room and the receipt was inside. The room was not clean. We stayed three nights and never once was the office open or anyone there. We got an ice storm on night one. The parking lot and driveway were never sanded and were a sheet of ice. The room claimed to have a kitchenette really only difference was it had a small sink. No stove. Small fridge and small microwave. Not what we expected. Very disappointed. We were over changed and can’t get an email response. We will not return and cannot recommend.

We arrived at the hotel for our 3 day stay. The office was closed with a note to call or text a number. I called, no answer. I texted and left a message. A person called back in 3-4 min. Told me no one is in office and no one would be at the office at any time. Person told me how to find the card to swipe into the room. I'm not okay with such practice with no employee on site. This may be the the norm in small motels, but I am not comfortable with that. It should not be the standard. The room was nice, updated rooms and hotel. The bed was lumpy and way too soft. There were divits in the mattress. Nice perk is the 4 screen drive-in theatre next door, but is open only Fri, Sat, Sun.

Access to the room was very easy. Usually I don’t stay in motels where you park by your room, but this one seemed different-more like duplexes. Safer somehow. The room was very clean and well decorated. Everything seemed fresh and new. The bathroom was especially clean. The cable tv was medium quality, but the wifi worked well. No breakfast included, but we didn’t mind since there was a Dunkin, grocery store, and McDonald’s 2 min away. The one downside is that the pillows were very flat.

Prices in Burlington proper were VERY high. The Starlight Inn is just a few miles north and one can easilyy get into the city. We also found it well placed for excursions in ANY direction. It was SO quaint and unique. It was well priced and allowed us to spend money elsewhere...breweries, vineyards etc.

Had a great time in Colchester. This motel was perfect for us. Near a McDonalds for morning coffee and Zachary's Pizza has everything you could want for dinner. Beautiful area, beautiful friends, and beautiful weather made this trip one to remember.
