I want to start off by saying the room is very nice and large: king-size bed, a nice sofa, great TV, very well appointed. Out of two elevators only one worked and it was god-awful slow. The ice machine on our floor didn't work and the staff knew about it. The front desk receptionist always seemed to have an edge to her unless you poured honey over her, then she kind of lightened up a little bit. The bathroom originally had no cold water coming out of the faucet. I had to get down below the sink and turn the cold water back on. The shower was huge but the flow restriction was so bad that it hardly seemed like you were getting wet at times We needed new towels after the first night and I was surprised when we returned to our room and found that it hadn't been touched. Turns out that they don't do anything to your room until you leave for good. There were plenty of parking spaces but each space was fairly narrow, comparatively speaking, geared more towards European cars that are skinnier. The property was well maintained. It had a nice workout room with one elliptical, one treadmill, some weights, and some other minor things. The hotel had a nice bar but when we got back to the hotel on a Saturday night at 8:45, it had already closed. Even though it's a nice bar, it wasn't very convenient with the hours We did not experience the breakfast bar so I can't make any comments. So overall for $300 a night (all in) I thought it was a pretty minimal hotel room and hotel

There's a parking fee, which is annoying enough in an actual city but extremely annoying in Phenix City, AL. The room was clean, a lot of the grout looked gross, the A/C could use an update. The walls were extremely thin and we could hear the neighbors deep in conversation way into the wee hours of the morning. The pool was great and the location is good, although for only a few bucks more it might be worth staying on the other side of the river.

The property was beautiful with stunning views. Each room was clean and nicely updated. Perfectly located within walking distance to uptown Columbus, which has so many great restaurants, coffee and ice cream shops, and a few bars. The staff couldn't have been any nicer and more helpful. We already booked another stay for my son's next graduation from Fort Benning with more rooms next time. The hotel was 15 mins from Fort Benning visitors center and 13 mins to a very nice shopping center with all the commercial restaurants you could want. My only suggestion would be to add microwaves to each room and a larger drink menu at the bar. Also, the fire pit outside was not working while we were there, which I am hoping is fixed before our next stay.
