The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was nice and we enjoyed the artsy eclectic vibes. We did have some rust on our shower head, and the street noise at all hours was quite a lot.

There is major construction in front of the hotel. Since it is city construction, they can work at 5 AM. So the amount of noise made by the workers at 5 AM is intolerable. I was unable to sleep the one night I stayed there overall it was a nightmare experience. Additionally the doors to your room do not open easily because the building is old. Therefore, my deadbolt did not work properly, which is obviously very unsafe. Overall, I would not recommend staying in this hotel to anybody.

Stayed 2 nights

I can’t even begin to describe all the things wrong with this property. The window AC unit barely functioned in the 100 degree Dallas heat. Would not go below 70 degrees. The rooms had an interesting smell to them, as though the humidity seeped into the carpet and furniture. The hotel was well decorated but it seemed like that’s all the hotel focused on. The staff in the AM was usually super cool, but the folks in the afternoon just looked like they didn’t want to be there. No smile, no clear words, just mumbling. Overall, given the location and state of the property, I probably wouldn’t stay here again
