At Baymont by Wyndham Deming, guests describe friendly, welcoming staff and a mix of experiences, from newly renovated, comfortable rooms to dated or incomplete ones, with recurring maintenance issues (AC noise or failures, TV/Wi‑Fi glitches) and inconsistent breakfast availability.

Many note clean, comfortable rooms, but several report poor cleanliness in some rooms, including dirty bathrooms, foul smells, and occasional pests like roaches or bed bugs. The location is convenient to the interstate and near stores and a couple of restaurants within walking distance, with quiet surroundings mentioned by some. First time staying here . The hotel was very quiet. A/c and heater worked good. They have a mini dining table, smart tv, mini fridge & microwave in the room. Lots of desk space to work on and the room was spacious. The bedding was clean. The restroom was clean and stocked. Good parking spaces next to the rooms. The hotel is right next to Walmart and a police station. So I assume the area is a little safe. We didn’t see any suspicious activities. Overall it’s a decent place to stay.

The staff was EXCELLENT! Check in went smoothly. Plenty of parking for my truck and trailer. The only negative thing was my ac/ heating unit was loud. But the weather was nice enough that I didn’t need it anyway. Great place to stay!

This place has very nice rooms. Young lady who checked us in was super helpful. Bed was comfortable and the shower has a cool shower head. Nice thick towels. Very Clean & nice quiet refrigerator great TV. The only reason didn't get 5 stars is because light comes in through window and door and the AC was loud.

Supposedly this was a Wyndham hotel, but essentially it was an old motel that and attempt had been made to modernize. Instead it was worse than trying to put lipstick on a pig. The grounds were old, trash was outside the trash bins, the restaurant was non-existent, they did not even have coffee in the lobby, nor did they care. It is the first time that I have ever resented having to pay for such a lackluster hotel / motel. I could honestly describe the description as false advertising.

Had no housekeeping staff during day shift. When we arrived at 4:00pm, we had to wait about 2 hours for a room to be cleaned. Property looks very tired and dated, but it was clean. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was hot and cooked to order. There is a decent Italian restaurant within easy walk.

We arrived after a long drive and the room had roaches all over it. I took photos and videos of all of them. I immediately went back to the front office to checkout and ask for a refund. I haven’t been given a refund yet since I booked through this site. Very inconvenient and disgusting but the other hotel we ended up at was amazing

This was a great stop. We got in late and the young woman at the front desk was very helpful and cheerful. The room was very clean. In fact, although my preference is to be barefoot after travel and while packing to leave, it was one of the first times I stayed in an updated tile floor room that I did not have to wash my feet before donning socks and shoes! Kudos to the housekeeping staff!! We will definitely be back.

This property is FILTHY. First was smelled as if someone had died in the room . Second room had blood on the white bed linens & feces splatters in the toilet bowl. We requested yet another room. Third & only other room where we had no other option but to sleep ….. the floors, fridge & Microwave were filthy. Cracked bathroom sink. Bottom of bathtub was BLACK with dirt. Underside of toilet was splattered with feces. And if that wasn’t horrible enough, the AIR CONDITIONING WAS BROKEN !!!! AVOID THIS PROPERTY !!! DO NOT STAY HERE !!! This hotel is as our WORST NIGHTMARE

There were no soap or shampoo in the bathroom. The small refrigerator was not very cold and appears to be defrosting all night. The tv did not turn on. Couldn't determine if it was the remote or the tv itself. There were no instructions on the landline phone in the room to reach the front desk to report my problems. It was almost 11:00 pm and very cold outside so I was not inclined to walk to the front desk. Fortunately, the heater in the room worked and I was able to get some sleep. I had driven from San Diego and was very tired. I slept in and was not able to make it before 9:00am to breakfast.
