The complimentary breakfast is frequently appreciated, sometimes featuring homemade items, though a few guests found the selection basic or limited. Extras like a fire pit and dog-friendly touches, including a fenced run, add convenience and charm. The property is a short drive rather than a walk to town, and some found the entrance hard to spot after dark or drives to the mountain longer than expected. Overall, expect a simple, comfortable stay focused on value.

Terrific motel to stay at with pup and kiddo! Owners were lovely and offered a free “Snack Lounge” with good coffee and breakfast type foods. Quick access to the beautiful town of Manchester (5 min drive). The motel had a nice area for a camp fire with comfy chairs and even provided a fenced in dog run in the back. We will be back!

We really enjoyed the stay. The amenities were great. We enjoyed sitting out front around the campfire with the wood provided. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay at the Brittany was wonderful. We stayed in the Sunrise Suite which turned out to be a two story cottage. After traveling and staying in hotels it was a wonderful surprise. Would do it again in a heartbeat. Be aware that it is self check-in, but the Snack shack has everything you need!

We loved our stay at the Brittany Motel. We stayed 3 nights in the suite with our two little dogs. We loved that they had their own fenced in area. The whole apartment was spotless from top to bottom. The big smart TV and ‘rec room’ with Ms PAC Man and fussball was u fun unexpected touch! It had everything we needed and we felt right at home. Communication was excellent. The communal snack room had all sorts of tasty treats that were very appreciated. One thing to note is nothing is within walking distance but the town center is only a 10 minute drive. We loved it and can’t wait to check out their other properties.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Brittany Motel! It was an interesting check in process (via phone , no office personnel) but was effortless and efficient as well. Albeit not seeing any staff, we felt welcomed and well cared for. Their “Snack Lounge” was top notch for a continental breakfast selection. There may not have been eggs and the like but there was a plethora of options to choose from. Plus the DVD/game selection & munchies were a delight to see. Very quaint and comfortable.

This is a very sweet, cozy and comfortable stay. Very clean rooms, the grounds are well cared for, dappled by potted plants, and there’s plenty of outdoor seating areas to enjoy. One downside is that it is on a busy road, so it’s not super quiet but nonetheless - it’s still a gem and rare to find such a place. Highly recommend!

Dated decor and very small bathroom sink. Appeared to be clean except for stain on comforter and ant infestation. Breakfast consisted of packaged cereal, plain grocery store bagels, English muffins and a few pieces of fruit. Coffee was okay. Not worth the $150/ night rate.

It was a very basic roadside motel mostly clean with the exception of a lot of mold in the bathroom shower. There was no hot water in the morning. Nobody to check us in or check us out. It was affordable. That's it.

It is about 1 mile away from MANCHESTER CENTER. It was fine for one night. Mattress very soft. Only one light next to bed...makes it difficult for the other person to read. Stayed in Rm #9...the makeup mirror in the bathroom was barely attached to wall, can't move it or it comes off. Did not see staff, but this is self check in, which was easy. Cleanliness? well, there was a spoon on the floor. There is a good size "mini" refrigerator in room if bringing food. The snacks were granola bars, beef jerky and string cheese. Can't remember if fruit was available.

The staff was very friendly but the bed was super hard and my husband and I needed to rent another hotel room because we couldn’t sleep on it. I was disappointed that we weren’t offered any kind of compensation and that meant we ended up paying for 2 hotels.

Cute clean little place. Just what I was looking for for a quick overnight while passing through the area. I prefer motels like this because I like having easy direct access to the fresh air outside and my nearby car. They have self check-in and the information provided in advance was very thorough and helpful. The locks were a bit fussy and everything has to line up just right to unlock/lock properly, so be aware of this and try patiently a few times making sure the deadbolt is in correct alignment. Really enjoyed my stay and will return.

The Brittany from the road appears to be like any other strip motel built in the 1960s or 1970s. As I pulled into the parking lot I had my "reservations." Pun intended. So I was very pleasantly surprised to find a totally updated room that was spacious and comfortable.

The ratings for this motel are ridiculous. This is a very basic motel with little to recommend other than the price and the Vermont scenery which is everywhere. The room is very small, and minimally equipped and well used. The air conditioner ran off and on all night and was quite noisy. The bathroom was very tiny and the bath tub/shower in need of caulking. Breakfast is really basic. No staff on site but great email contact from the owners which is a poor substitute. I don’t blame the owners but I do blame Hotels.com for their ridiculously disappointing rating and reviews. I may not use your service anymore- too many bad experiences based on misleading information and reviews.

This motel is right out of the ‘60s. The rooms are small and have little space for luggage. The bathroom is also small with no countertop space. We were the only guests at the motel the first night, and with no staff on site, it felt a little creepy. The housekeeper came in the morning and we were able to talk to her. There is a room with snacks and beverages, and the housekeeper kept it stocked with bagels, muffins, fresh milk, and condiments. I was able to speak with a person on the phone to ask a couple of questions, and he was helpful, but it is not the same as having a manager there in person.

Much more affordable than other area hotels. Convenient to Manchester. Quiet. Comfortable. Room a/c not the greatest. Compared to other area prices, it was great — everything you need in a motel that you won’t be spending a lot of time in. Snacks were available but not the usual sodas and chips. Can’t really comment on staff as I never saw anyone. I did receive friendly, welcoming texts.

The Motel was very inviting and very quiet. Loved the easy access to the room and ease of taking dog outside. Didn't love the location - Travelocity said it was 9.57 miles from Stratton Mountain - the drive was actually 33 minutes. Breakfast was exceptionally light (toast, cereal, yogurt, fruit) with no orange juice on the last morning. The good far outweighed the bad - the bed was super comfy and the water pressure in the shower outstanding.

The continental-style breakfast and snack room are often praised for variety and homemade items. A few guests found the selection basic or limited at times, including during construction.

Everything was clean & comfortable and the owners were so friendly & accommodating. The breakfast had homemade blueberry muffins that were amazingly good. It felt like home! Would come back!

Though it's a motel style establishment, the rooms and friendliness makes it feel like a bed and breakfast. My room was clean and comfortable. I also loved the room that is set for breakfast and snacks (with many choices!). It's also very close to the center of Manchester. I would definitely stay again.

Room was clean and check-in process (self-service) was really easy. Bed was fine… not the most comfortable but certainly could have been worse. Included breakfast was pretty limited but if you were willing to get creative it worked out fine. Overall a decent value for the area, would stay again.

Our room was comfortable and easily accessible because of the helpful texts from the hosts, who depend on you for self-check-in and check-out. It was very easy! Breakfast featured fresh fruit, cereal, bagels, muffins, and drink options, just what we needed to get back on our way.

Room #11 was clean. The bed was comfortable. AC was cranking at 63 degrees too cold for me. My only complaint is that there were no coffee cups with the in-room coffee maker. This has been my third stay at the Brittany this season. I will be back as the room is at a great price point considering that 80% of my time there is spent with my eyes closed.
