One Seagrove Place 1201

Great location and love updates in lobby and elevators! However, only complaint was it seemed as if A/C wasn’t working in master room. It got really warm each evening despite us turning down thermostat. Seems vent wasn’t working like others. Also the door/lock seems to need to be looked out. We could not get in one evening and due to storm no one was at desk that evening. We called and they had us push/pull door while doing combination and that finally worked. Love kitchen upgrades and shower and mirrors. Bathroom sinks are not super functional.

Great location to all restaurants and shopping on 30A. Clean apartment. Spacious. Hosts continually text to check in and confirm we're doing well. Beach chair/umbrella rentals are ready and easy to pick up each day. There are 2 elevators in the building. One of them was broken for 1 of the days making the up/down trips really inconvenient. Also, we were unaware that we needed to supply our own toilet paper and paper towels. The AC works great but in the posted instructions listed inside the apartment say "do not set temperature below 70." The apartment does have a vacuum cleaner inside (we did not find a broom) for the sand we trekked inside which was unavoidable. The lighting inside was fair at best - terrible for applying makeup for us 4 female guests trying to get dressed up every night for dinners.

Room was great and the view was amazing. The elevator was not working on our stay which on the 13th floor was pretty tough.

Great location in Seagrove with short walk to the beach. Condo facilities are updated and good pool for kids. Can’t wait to come back!

Everything was great but only one elevator working . Still has a great time !

1 elevator working for 120 units = LONG waits and 1 parking space allowed. Would have been nice to know beforehand. The furniture is oversized for the unit. King Bed was hard and pillows were flat (bring your own). Everything else was great. Front desk was very nice. Views were fabulous. We enjoyed everything about the property except the LONG waits for the elevator.

We weren’t informed about any ongoing construction going on, which was a problem using elevator, parking lot and huge crane, construction workers, which made it difficult to get in the building, but we were able to walk around back. The property managers were A++++, and worked with the owner and made everything right. The property is going to be amazing when they complete the renovations. The condo was outdated, but I believe it will be renovated soon. Overall, it was a large unit with incredible views of ocean but not of a sunrise or sunset which is fine , just a few steps to the beach to see that. Easy bike rides to seaside one way and an easy ride the other way to awesome beaches and restaurants. I highly recommend this place and would surely go back when renovations are completed.

One Seagrove Place is a great property in a very convenient location, providing accommodations that are all beach view. The only thing about the property I have to say is that the pool area needs aesthetic attention. Compared to other beach condo properties where I’ve stayed, it is outdated, looks old and just forgotten. It was clean and nice and cool but that’s about it. Regarding the unit, I’ve stayed in many beach condos and this one needs a lot of work! The lighting is very inadequate except for the kitchen and the natural light. All the lighting fixtures have a yellow/amber lightbulb that barely emits any light and made the whole unit very dim at night and yellow! The second bedroom was so dark we couldn’t even see in the daytime and had to use our phone light at times. The ice maker in the fridge didn’t work and neither did the countertop ice machine. There were very minimal tools and cookware to work with, and the small appliances are very cheap and inadequate. There aren’t nearly enough electrical outlets and there is zero counter space (or adequate lighting) in either bathroom for getting ready/dressed. The master shower is large and nice but the bath/tub in second bath had a nasty shower curtain liner. It was so dirty we had to wash it and still the mold and mildew at the bottom didn’t come off. The furniture on the balcony is old and rotting and one chair is completely broken and the chaise lounges aren’t far behind. Aesthetically, furniture and decor need to be updated and a little pop of color added. It’s very white. The kitchen has very nice glass turquoise tiles and tiles under the bar. The bathrooms have tile showers and surrounds that are nice. It would be nice if the owners would show some love to the rest of the unit. I hate leaving such a negative review, but I also feel a review is to help lead to improvements where needed. There were 4 of us and we all had the same thoughts. This unit has much potential! Great location! Having said all that, we still had a wonderful time and would love to stay at One Seagrove Place again!

Nice location and building but the furniture covers were dirty and the beds were uncomfortable

Overall, the condo was very clean, but there was no mattress protector on the master bed, and there were some spots on the comforter. The rest of the condo was spotless.

Location on the water is spectacular! We were fortunate and had a high apartment so the view was incredible. It was very clean well maintained.

The unit was well appointed and we like the end units with the wrap around balcony for better storage of sand gear. Beds were comfortable. The sofa sleeper was a sofa sleeper :0 We have stayed in multiple units and to give this one a 5 star we would like to have more glassware and plastic glasses for safety, a full-length mirror somewhere in the unit, and more basic supplies. We spent an extra $100 on basic supplies like garbage bags, paper towels, toilet paper, toiletries, etc. We don't live close enough to drive and suitcase space at a premium so we couldn't pack those. They also say they will not return anything left behind which we haven't run into before. It probably made us search everywhere 4x instead of 2 or 3. LOL! When we called the number given we reached an answering service and had to wait for a call back. All in all a good stay and a nice property. Solid 4 *

Overall, the stay was decent, and the location was good with a view. However, the appliances were quite old, the crockery could use an update, and the bedsheets were not as clean as expected but were changed after we complained about it to the building With some improvements in these areas, it could have been a much better experience.

Overall, we really like the place. One Seagrove is perfect. This unit had a few issues: dirty silverware and dishes in the cabinet, master bed was very uncomfortable. The platform has broken and bent legs that create low spots.Try putting a matt or rug under the platform. The legs slide on the tile floor and bend/break.

This is our 3rd time staying at One Seagrove Place so we are quite familiar with the beach, unit layout, and the amazing view that cannot be beat! Now onto the unit itself - pros it was very clean upon arrival and the views from the balcony are incredible. Con’s- the furniture is too big for the unit. Main bedroom has nightstands turned on its sides to fit and blocks part of the bathroom doorway. There was a large recliner chair positioned in front of the couch that I had to move furniture to even sit on the couch. The couches are stained and dirty, the ceiling was peeling, there was a shredded unusable door mat, two of the drawers were broken on the dresser in the front bedroom, master bathroom toilet was loose, and mold forming on one of the vents. I mentioned a lot of these concerns on day 1 to which the company sent someone to take a look and didn’t even tell us to which he let himself in while I was there with my napping child. Would not stay in this unit again as I’ve stayed at others within the same building that were better maintained.

This unit has fantastic upgrades and remodels, new bedding and a more spacious kitchen. Will gladly use VRBO to select out next stay at One Seagrove Place.

Love the remodel of the kitchen, more space was needed. thank you for the safe and comfortable stay. will be back for more beach and fun.

From the the check in our experience was horrible. We walked in, and noticed that the 2 rocking sofas were disgustingly dirty, stains and discolored, which was so gross and we didn’t even want to sit. They left a bunch of towels to be folded, and the soap in every bathroom and kitchen was filled it water instead of refilling it with actual soap. The king size bed was SO uncomfortable, you have to sleep on the edge of each sides in order to sleep or else you’d sink in, in the middle. After the 4th day of being there, I called the front desk and the GM emailed me telling me how she was disappointed in ME because I didn’t tell them the very first day. God forbid my family and I are at least trying to enjoy our vacation instead of calling the very first day! I WOULD NOT recommend booking here. The staff was not helpful in any way.

PersonalChairs had to be out by 7am or you had to sit towards the back. Beach chair rental was tough with the new process so we opted to buy chairs instead. Benchmark is not helpful when issues are present.

The location is great and the property itself was fine. My complaint is with the company that manages this property, Benchmark Management. When we arrived, with bags of groceries, the refrigerator was not working, and they had put a dorm-size fridge in the dining area. When called about this, they said we’re sorry, we’ve made a note of this, and thank you for your patience. I asked via text to be moved to another location that they manage and they said the fridge not working didn’t warrant this and that they supplied a sufficient replacement. We had to go out and buy a cooler to put our groceries in and keep replenishing the ice. It made for a less than relaxing time because we had to worry about keeping things cold. And they didn’t care. I had to ask for some sort of refund and I was told they have sent it to their board to look at. I even asked to speak to a mgr and have been told repeatedly that one is not available but they would call me back. I will never rent from them again.

The Redfish Rental team (the brothers) were fantastic — super helpful, responsive, and made check-in and the entire process smooth and stress-free. The condo itself was nice and well-equipped, but the white couch definitely needs an update. It had some visible stains, which made it harder to relax after a day in the sun. I ended up using towels to line the cushions — thankfully, there were plenty of clean towels provided, which was a huge plus. Overall, a great spot and a solid stay — with just a little furniture refresh, it would be perfect!

The only negative is how crowded the beach was during our stay but it was a holiday weeeknd. Public access is right next to this access which made it challenging to spread out. Just be prepared to go down early and get a spot we went at 7am each day and still was in second row. The unit was great no issues and liked having the security guard on site too. I would stay again for sure!

The condo was a perfect location—easy beach access with pizza, ice cream, donuts, beach shopping and Goatfeathers market just outside of property. Parking was easy in a spacious parking lot ( much better than a cramped parking deck). The condo is between a public access and private beach- a nice compromise for those who want a quieter beach with access to shopping/restaurants and amenities. The condo was beautiful. The double queen room only had DVD accessibility ( as far as we could figure out- which is nice to know with kids.) the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. Storage space was fine for our short trip. We had some hiccups, but were minor ( for our stay) and addressed same day. Overall a wonderful quick getaway!!

Biggest complaint is that I didn’t know we were on a public beach. Had to get up between 5:30-6:30 to put your personal chairs out so you had a spot close to the water. The chair rental guys didn’t set up until 8:00. They majorly need black out curtains in the master bedroom, very outdated curtains and some of the panes were missing. The tvs didn’t work properly in the kids room or master. The pool needs an upgrade. Did kill a cockroach the last night in the closet. Pros are it’s next door to a donut shop, a seafood market, two nice restaurants close by and a great jogging path.
