This is a government run property , and so there's no direct connection between the efficiency or the convenience of things and the profit margin. Check in is only an hour and a half long. The restaurant opens for breakfast at seven am which is late for those of us who want to try to get on the road and do a day of traveling. Yet there are no refrigerators or microwaves supplied in any of the rooms , so that if you do want to prepare anything for yourself as far as meals it makes it challenging... The whole complex is a throwback to 1969....

It’s a hotel from another era, but that is reflected in the highly affordable price. It was not immaculate, but it was fairly clean (and the important surfaces were clean). The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a motel style room with the door in front, but felt very secure- as it was a brick front with no windows and a thick door. The windows are in the back of the unit with a view of the lake and a nice balcony with a couple chairs and a table! All things considered: Thumbs up!

We stayed just 1 night passing through. The checkin was smooth and the staff was helpful and accommodating. The room and outside was clean and the bed was comfortable. The balcony was a nice touch because we could see the lake and the dam. There's plenty of parking so we were able to park right in front of our room. We would 100% stay again.

Staff was amazing, very helpful and kind. Rooms were nice, definitely could use some updating but no complaints from my family.
