Since the property is new, of course everything was bright and shiny...but still... The rooms are large, therefore roomy and comfortable. The bathroom is setup correctly with a large working shower. The pool is great! The breakfast is by order and we were satisfied with our order.

Nice hotel. Food was good (only ate breakfast). If u want lake view get 2 queen beds - none of the king rooms face lake. Pool gets no sun whatsoever, which was biggest disappointment due to needing to get some color for wedding I was attending. Asked staff where we could go to get sun (park?) and woman didn’t know although she did ask a coworker and came to find me to update me. But the park didn’t have any chairs/benches to sit. A lot of trash in pond when you look out from back patio. Would be nice to have that cleaned up but also realize may not be possible due to alligators. Location was convenient to a lot of restaurants and shops.

It was a nice stay. Great sunrise photo when facing the lake view. Bring change to use the laundry to dry off clothing. Close to LegoLand,Publix. Buy your own drinks before showing up. It can get $$ Publix closes at 9pm. Pool is always crowded. Hard to enjoy with 10+ people always.

The breakfast was good although you do have to pay for it. The room was nice and bed was comfy although the bathroom shower was irritating. It was a walk in shower so there was no door/curtain. Water got everywhere on the floor and it was slightly cold. There were some stains on the shower/bathroom area.

Positives: Great place to stay for a quick trip! Clean, nice amenities. The Bistro employees were wonderful and the food was delicious. Cons: The air conditioner in the rooms are outdated units that seem to be motion activated? I would wake up hot in the middle of the night and have to turn the unit on. Same during the day if you’re out of the room for a period of time.

Room was small and poorly designed with a refrigerator that was a joke. Bistro is a waste with overpriced extremely limited menu. Smarten up and provide a small breakfast like Hampton Inn. Free brewed coffee in the lobby would be a welcome.

We chose the hotel because it had a king bed available in the area of town that we needed. At check-in with Emma which was at 1 am after a 5 1/2 hr drive, we were given a 2 queen bed. Emma said she did not have a king available. We did call ahead to let them know we would be arriving late. I asked to speak with the manager who would arrive the next morning & gave her my number. The manager never called. I also gave her my Marriott rewards card & she said that it could not be used because I booked through hotels.com. I explained that I did that because through Marriott the hotel was booked. Also, when checking in Marriotts, I am normally given bottled water, colas & snacks. After having to ask Emma, I was given 2 small bottles of water. Needless to say, I was very disappointed in the reception that I received at this Marriott. Every request or question that I had was responded by negative or non-accommodating answers.

Very happy we stayed here! Staff especially lady who checked us in was extremely nice and personable. The bartender handled the crowd like a champ. Hotel location was perfect for our short and sweet visit to Legoland and priced well if you’re not wanting to spend the high prices at the Legoland resorts. Clean, modern and spacious lobby area and rooms. Only think I would suggest is more kid-friendly activities possibly. Highly recommend!

We arrived early and went to the front desk to see about storing our luggage. There were two friendly faces at the desk and they asked for our last name. After telling them, they asked if we'd like to get into our rooms early - the rooms were ready! What a wonderful surprise! These two ladies were the friendliest people we met at the desk. The gals working breakfast were very sweet, as well. This was an excellent Marriott! Highly recommend.

We stayed and walked to Legoland. The hotel was clean and the property was immaculate. When we arrived, we were informed that the water would be shut off from 10-4 the next day. We would have appreciated a heads up prior to arriving. We felt a little rushed to leave as a result. Front desk staff was super friendly. The cafe workers gave us a bit of a hassle but made up for it with great service on the back end.

I have stayed here before, and had a wonderful experience! This time was no different. I was in town for a funeral and the peace at the Marriot made a very difficult weekend so much better. Also the breakfast was wonderful! Will be back.
