Stayed 1 night

Weird experience and twisted neck. Stayed 1 night, not a single staff at Inn. Self-checkin with an iPad, was allocated room and entry code via email/text after iPad checkin. No internet, was worried we wouldn't receive the code but it came through after a few minutes. The queen room we booked turned out to be a double bed against the wall. Tiny room and very uncomfortable bed. Bed frame was steel but it was wobbly and unstable. Very little room to place your belongings, no table or shelves, just a single bedside table that had a lamp with a giant base. No coffee or cups in room but coffee machine at the 'lobby'. The worse part was the bathroom had a wet used towel (yuck) and soap dispenser was broken. Would not recommend or stay again.

The views of the mountains were stunning. That’s where the good ends. There was no one to speak to about any issues with the room. You were told to call or leave a message but no one answered or responded. The bathroom door didn’t close The television had no volume one night and the next night. You couldn’t turn it down. They offer a coffee machine but no cream or milk. I wouldn’t stay here again nor would I recommend it

We had a lovely stay, actually extended it a day. Amazing location up on a hill surrounded by the mountains, and way off the beaten path, though only 5 minutes from dining and the local markets. Great spaces to sit outside enjoying the views. Our room had great views too, albeit the windows were not huge. There is a pool table, plenty of other games, vintage bowling and indoor golf. A dining room, and more. Also, an amazing kids play room. Very clean everywhere, and the room was comfortable. It's very self-service, only saw one employee (cleaning staff) the whole time, but they make amenities readily available, and you can call for additional assistance if necessary. There is no restaurant, but there is decent vending, plenty of ice, an automatic coffee maker and fresh still / sparkling water.

We had a very nice stay, however the lack of a front desk did pose a challenge. I was fully aware of this when booking however the information provided lead me to believe that the phone number given would lead directly to the inn keeper. However I found out it goes to someone off site and they contact the inn keeper. This usually wouldn’t be an issue however when we needed something it took several phone calls back and forth. Also they are not very responsive to text messages, even though they suggest it is as a way of contact. Check in was a challenge aa well, even though we did everything required on our end, took a phone call and 15 minutes while waiting to get our room code. Our room was clean overall, however there were several dead flies on our bathroom counter and the bed was less than comfortable. However the inn served its purpose as base camp for our weekend stay and fit the old world theme. Would not stay again as there are many other inns and places to stay in the area.
