Romar place 802

Overall we enjoyed our stay!! The condo has an awesome view of the gulf, beautiful balcony/patio to relax on & is in a great location!! It definitely could use updates & most absolutely could be cleaned better. The floors were filthy & your feet/socks were instantly black from walking on it. The ice maker never worked, the electric can opener did not work & the refrigerator door seal is bad so the door would not close tightly, leaving it sweating & messy inside. The folding doors for the laundry area did not stay on the track & continually fell off. We rented through Liquid Life & I feel that they really should elaborate a bit more on the regulations of the condo such as having to wear a yellow rubber bracelet at all times, your are not allowed to have any food or beverages at the pool, the parking passes are not included in your fees, & that you can only have 2 vehicles on site. I had inquired prior to our arrival with Liquid Life on how much the parking passes were & I was told that one parking pass was included in our rental & we would need to purchase the others when we arrived. However, when we arrived we were told that is not accurate & we had to purchase them. The condo slept 8 & we had 4 couples that drove in 3 vehicles. Thankfully the condo manager was generous enough to let us have a 3rd vehicle. These are things that should be in the information prior to renting.

It was a great stay in a very safe location. Check in was easy. A couple of things you should know is that Publix is 10 minutes away which is great, you’re gonna need it. Any place that offers 3 bed 2 bath is going to need some basic necessities, and they provide nothing extra. While the email said we would have to provide our own, I kind of expected at least enough toilet paper for 2 days. Also, checkout was 10am and at 940am the cleaning crew DID NOT knock, they just let themselves in with a code. When I said, it’s not even 10 yet they said they didn’t speak English. So make plans to be completely out by 930 or someone might let themselves in. They didn’t even back up like oh we will come back in a few minutes, they proceeded in🙄. The room was clean, the balcony was nice and the walk to the beach is short. We never waited on an elevator and those worked quickly. There was a closet on the balcony that had beach chairs and floats that we discovered the second day. Big Mikes will have the best steak you’ve ever eaten but it’s pricey…and well worth it. Cactus cantina is great and FAST. Make sure you take advantage of the dolphin tour sunset ride, it doesn’t disappoint. Would we go back? Absolutely.

Breathtaking, spacious corner balcony Romar place as a whole (excellent grounds keeping/cleaning, heated indoor pool with lovely skylight, hot tub, beautiful outdoor pool, very close to the beach/easy access, quick elevators, friendly staff) Affordable- great amenities for the price Enough space for 6 people, great layout in condo Washer dryer/good space in laundry room Hosteeva- Great customer service They actually provided enough linens for the 6 of us for 3 nights Fun closet full of chairs, boogie boards and beach umbrella Cons: Terrible cell reception HORRIBLE wifi Kitchen (no lights in kitchen, not enough basic tools such as baking sheet or pizza cutter, terrible appliances -took at least 30 minutes to preheat the oven and then food came out frozen after more than the time on the package, no pantry space for snacks, had to use the laundry room for this function) Entry - code in email didn't work, had to call to have reset. This was done quickly and the customer service was great.

The apartment and view are perfect. Parking - I paid for parking for the week as soon as I got there, with a person. I got a threat to tow the day before checkout! My car was parked less than 20 feet from the office where I paid for parking. This is the second year I’ve stayed at this property and was planning to stay again next year but now I won’t stay at any Romar property going forward because I can’t be worried that my car will be towed.

The condo was beautiful! The pictures on VRBO do not do it justice. A perfect location and love the direct access to the beach. Everyone was so nice and helpful upon check- in, and loved the communication with the owners. We will definitely be staying here for all our vacations.

The property was well maintained and clean. Pool was nice. Short boardwalk to the beach. Condo in the middle of great restaurants. Our family stayed in 3 condos for the week and we all had a wonderful time.

The condo is spacious for our entire family, easy access to the beach, indoor pool was nice when it rained. There were several outlets that did not work throughout the condo and there was a problem with the hot water in the kitchen not always working. I would recommend having regular table somewhere for people that cannot climb on high stools. Overall we had a great family vacation and would recommend to others.

Room 403 came with the perfect view. Our family greatly enjoyed our time together. We will definitely try to be back. The only downside was an elevator broke & the parking is a lot vs a garage. All things not in the owner’s control.

We loved the unit. The views from the deck were incredible. Kids loved the pools.

The condo complex and amenities were great, but there were some maintenance and cleaning issues that added up. When we got there it was obvious the cleaning crew does not take pride in their work. Ten minutes in to being there my crawling baby had an entirely black leg from scooting around on the dirty floor. Additionally, we had two king size beds that were made with queen size bedding. Some maintenance issues we encountered included a patio door that did not lock. Property management told us that it was not their problem and we needed to take it up with iTrip. Additionally, we spent three days trying to track down someone at the front to get us a second parking pass. Finally, the condo claimed to be baby friendly, but the tub was missing a drain plug and with no grip in the base it made for a difficult time giving baths. And the outlets that were not attached to the walls and cockroaches made for a less than relaxing time managing small children. While we might choose to stay at Romar place again, this would not be a condo we would revisit.

This condo was perfect for our trip. Very clean! Like new. We cook a lot, kitchen especially well furbished. Worked great for the six of us. Staff at front desk very nice and helpful. Leasing company quickly responded with the few pre trip questions we had. Overall I highly recommend the condo.

We had a wonderful time. The beach was everything we were looking for. The condo was clean. We will be back!

If you’re looking for easy beach access (and I would recommend Ike’s beach service for chairs!) and an unbeatable view - this is the condo for you. If you’re looking for a comfortable bed and clean furniture…this might not be your cup of tea. Shower curtain had a blood smear, our bed had several pieces of hair on the sheets, the furniture was FILTHY, the master bedroom door frame was broken (but, to their credit, the closet was full of repair material), a kitchen cabinet was hanging by the hinges, and the main bedroom bed was the worst I’ve ever slept in. The worst. So hard that I didn’t even sleep the first three nights (the last two night I was too tired to stay mad, LOL). Also, the guest room TV didn’t work and the cable box for the main tv didn’t work (which wasn’t a huge deal since we brought our FireStick), I’m not sure this is a “Liquid Life” issue since they’re simply managing someone else’s property - but I would be willing to guess the actual owners haven’t stepped foot in there in years. Twice we had maintenance stop by when our teens were alone in the condo, and they had the sense to not come in since adults weren’t home (which we were grateful). Pros: check in/check out was easy peasy, Liquid Life is simply a phone call away, and there is a terrific restaurant just a short walk across the street. We might use Liquid Life again…but not this particular condo.

Overall this property was nice. Good location, nice to have two different pool options and beach front! My biggest complaint is the cleanliness. The beds were clean, however, the floors were filthy. Our feet and/or socks would get black from walking around.

Good location. Very nice ocean view. The rooms were good size. Easy to get to the beach. The top wrack on the dish washer was broken and would not hold very many items. The fridge door would not shut right causing water to build up in the fridge. Other than those small things the place was great.

Awesome view from a nice 3 bedroom condo on the fourth floor. Had an issue getting in but one phone call and it was resolved. The door safety latch was broke and that was fixed the next day. Unit has old but high quality cookwear and full kitchen utensils. Although cooler than normal the views were awesome from the patio/deck.

We were here for a birthday trip/Memorial Day weekend. We absolutely loved the condo, the area and everything about our trip. We will definitely be back! My stay was great! The location was perfect. The condo was great as well.
