At Comfort Inn & Suites Madison North, guests consistently praise very clean rooms, friendly staff, easy highway access, and a generally quiet atmosphere, with many also appreciating the pool and hot breakfast as good value for short stays.

Several reviews note dated decor and maintenance issues, especially in the pool area and some bathrooms, plus occasional room odors or worn carpets. Our stay was great! Check in was awesome, even though we didn’t get to read the things our host kept saying hit no thanks so idk. Side doors did not have handicap doors and they slammed on you. Breakfast was outstanding! Pool/hot tub needs some updated paint and maintenance.

The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. The man who was stocking breakfast and cleaning was also very friendly. The rooms were clean I will say they had a great selection for breakfast. The pool and hot tub were great the chlorine was pretty strong and the hot tub was very hot but overall I’m so glad we stayed here and I wished we had chosen this hotel for our entire stay instead of just the last night. We will be coming back again.

All was good, except the pet charge ($50 per pet) was extortionate. If a pet causes damage, you have the owner's credit card number. If a pet doesn't, there's no reason for that charge.

It was ok. The pool in the photo looks really nice. When we were there, the kiddie pool did not work which was disappointing and everything was rusted. Beds were ok. Everything was just ok.

The hotel lists in amennities that it allowed pets. Upon arrival, we were told that they are not allow cats, so we lost the money paying for that hotel. My advice is not to stay there as the property is not well maintained and the staff that my husband encountered was not polite.

The hotel is dated. Room smelled and the carpet actually needs to be steamed cleaned. The lobby shouldn’t have a video game unit in it. Cheapens the decor. Had to wait 10 minutes for someone to get to front desk.

When you just need to layover and decompress this will do it. If you go to the family diner down the road, legend has it the Russian owner is still on the phone-like some omelet oligarch.

Very clean & well-appointed property. Young woman at the front desk was welcoming, helpful, and efficient. My husband said the spa was excellent. Breakfast provided a good selection of standard fare. Coffee was good. Four stars instead of five on Comfort reflects the fact that neither of us found comfort sleeping with the small square bed pillows. However, the beds themselves were excellent.

The bathtub creaked with any movement and sounded like it was going to cave in. Bathtub wasn’t draining so your feet would be in standing water within minutes. The blinds are set up so you can’t close them all the way, causing lack of privacy and the ability to sleep in past dawn.

2 people behind the desk when we arrived. One was very sick with a mask on, the other was new and being trained. We were completely ignored. Stood in front of the desk for 5 minutes with Not so much as a "Welcome", A smile. A, " We'll be right with you", NO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT of 2 guests coming into your lobby with luggage to stay in your hotel for the night. When we FINALLY were greeted everything was robotic and stale. We clearly were inconveniencing the staff and whatever the hell they were doing behind the desk. As we were being rushed through our check in a lady entered the lobby and was completely ignored as she was watching what was going on behind the desk. To the point where she started to leave several times but came back and was clearly frustrated with the staff and the situation. Completely ackward and unprofessional. Thank God there was hand sanitizer on the counter I could use after the sick one gave me a pen and my credit card back. I used the pen he slammed down on the counter to sign and initial the paperwork he slammed down on the counter.

Room was very clean, front desk was courteous, and I liked the easy parking/easy location off the highway. The hotel is located in a very quiet location. Culver's, Kwik Trip, Taco Bell, and McDonald's is right down the road when you cross the bridge. We didn't get the opportunity to check out the pool or free breakfast. Only one downfall, the hotel is location next to a farm which gave a very unpleasant smell of manure when stepping outside. Luckily, you cannot smell within the hotel. Overall, I would book another stay when in the area!
