Maui Vista 1-308 - Beautifully Updated, Ocean View

A great place to base for day trips anywhere on the island. The included beach towels and chairs were a perfect addition. Right across the street from a gorgeous beach.

The location is perfect, right in the middle of everything and just across the street from the beach. In suite laundry is a must with kids and lots of swimming. Check in was super easy and the sunset from the patio was amazing.

This condo offered many amenities, including: sand toys, a beach umbrella, beach towels and snorkel gear. The rooms were spacious and comfortable for our family of four. The patio offers an ocean view and looks out on the canopy of palm trees and the property grounds.

This condo was in a great location. We could see the ocean from the balcony and see parts of the beautiful sunsets. It's an older condo, but it was clean. It had pretty much everything you need for an amazing trip to Maui. If you need air conditioning, this may not be for you. It does have a window air conditioner and multiple fans, but when it's 90 degrees outside it just didn't help much. We were there to be outside and enjoy Maui, so it worked for us.

We had a wonderful stay and overall this condo was very comfortable and met our needs. We loved being right across the street from the beach and enjoyed the ocean view. Unfortunately, any noise in the corridor/courtyard outside can be heard from the bedroom, but I imagine that is the same in all units of the Maui Vista. Luckily the neighbors were not that noisy during our stay. The master bedroom mattress could definitely stand to be replaced as it has started to sag in the middle. Having AC in the bedroom, instead of only the living area would be nice. We would definitely rent this unit again in the future.

Pros: Great location, nice bedding, kitchen is stocked well, and plenty of beach/pool toys. Cons: Condo is dated, needs a deep cleaning, paint is scuffed throughout, carpet is stained, beds are only so-so, and the window ac isn't adequate for super hot days. Further, the fridge is stained and didn't keep things cold enough (threw out meat and milk the day after purchase as the fridge won't stay cold). We are a family of 6 and it fit us all, but I don't believe I'd stay there again.

On site manager was unresponsive. Condo is a little run down. There are maintainance issues which are subtle, but show lack of concern for property, for example the toilet paper roll holder in the downstairs bathroom had apparently been broken since July 2024. See othe r reviews. Had to live out of suitcase upstairs, no closet or chest of drawers. Sheets had holes. Requested 2 twins combined into king. Wasn't done prior to arrival or after complaint. .no food storage containers. .Advertised with AC, ON TIMErRWITH MAX of two hours. And so on and so forth. The property is well maintained and is very clean, the check-in/check-out process very simple and easy and communication pre, during and post stay was great. It has a newish stainless steel fridge with ice maker, plus there's included beach chairs and umbrella, even a cooler! This was perfect as the beach is just across the street. It also has a smart tv where you can login your own accounts for Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, Prime, etc. Wifi was fast and cable has that channel all about Maui as you turn on the tv. Shops and food is just a few minutes walk north or south of the property, there's ample parking spaces and the gated pool was nice. We're happy to have stayed in this property for our vacation in Maui!

I took my mom here as a Mother’s Day gift and we loved the property! We loved having an ocean view room! We also enjoyed the access to the pool on the property as well. The room had everything we could have wanted like beach chair, coolers, beach towels, kitchen supplies and more! Thank you for having us stay at the property! We will for sure be back!

This condo was perfect for a spur of the moment trip to Maui. It had plenty of room for people to sleep and is just steps from the beach. But it could use some updating and a good deep clean.

Maui is wonderful, we have been there several times and have always stayed at Maui Vista. It's a great location, close to the beach, shopping and several great restaurants. We've always been very happy with Maui Vista but found our condo this stay a little lacking. My husband and I took the loft, leaving the downstairs bedroom for our daughter and her young daughter. Not only was the closet padlocked closed, there was also no dresser or even a drawer. Lived out of our suitcases for FIVE weeks! Not ideal! On arrival we found that both toilets needed to be plunged on every use. We told our host, it took 8 days to have both toilets replaced. A LOT of plunging! There were cockroaches in the suite, i asked our host for some help, never heard back from him. The kitchen was pretty well equipped tho the advertised cooler was never found. All in all tho we loved our holiday in Maui and will definitely be returning with our family!

Such a beautiful location, just across the street from Charley Young beach. Unit is clean and comfortable with all the necessary amenities. Management company was very responsive to inquiries and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Excellent value and right in the heart of Kihei.

While things were generally fine, there was some mold on the bottom of the shower curtain and along tub caulk at floor level. The door to the bathroom needs to be repainted. Would be useful to supplement dinner plates and bowls.

The unit was great and made our stay even more enjoyable. It was very clean with updated design.

Sehr gute Lage schoene Moebel, aber die Wohnung wurde lange Zeit schlecht gereinigt. Der Teppichboden ist sehr schmutzig. Ein Kochtopf und eine Bratpfanne waren total verbrannt und nicht zu gebrauchen. Saucennflecken auf dem Herd. Das Bad war garnicht oder schlecht gereinigt. Der verwalter hat reagiert und jemand zum putzen geschickt der einiges geputzt hat ausser dem Teppich. Das alles war auf einem Blick zu sehen, was bedeutet dass niemand wirklich kontroliert

The AC units BOTH need to be replaced, they are covered in black mold, making breathing difficult for both of my asthmatic kids. It was pretty awful. The unit was very dirty upon arrival. Dust everywhere, the floors were so filthy. My husband and I cleaned this unit best we could to make it more comfortable for our stay but there was no getting that black mold out of BOTH ac units, they need to be replaced. Overall I’d give the unit a 2/10 rating and would love to get my cleaning deposit back as we left the unit far more clean than what we arrived to.

Very clean great location had everything we needed

Cosy apartment with big windows and sunset views, two bathrooms, comfortable beds, quiet. Close to the beach and short drive to best south beaches. 100% recommend!

All was great with the exception of the sagging bed. A new bed is definitely needed.

The view from the lanai and access to the beach were absolutely excellent. We watched whales during the day and saw the sunset in the evening.

The condo was great, well equipped, clean and comfortable. The one thing that disturbed us was the traffic noise, especially with the boom box trucks as a constant, with the bass vibrating in our bodies. So ridiculous. There should be a noise bylaw which should be enforced. Otherwise the weather was fabulous, the ocean amazing, the beach lovely.

Great location for touring entire island. The condo was clean and well equipped. Loved having a view of the ocean from the balcony. Only complaint would be the bed is very uncomfortable. It sags in the middle. You won't lie flat. Also, bring your own shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. They only include 1 tiny travel size of each plus 2 tiny bars of soap. A bonus would be if they added a boogey board in addition to the beach chairs and umbrella.

Easy driving to West Maui, RTH, Wailea, etc. Kam 1 was right across the way and a great beach. We drove over instead of walking because we had so much beach stuff, but it's easily walkable with two people's worth of stuff. We had three adults and two teens but never felt super crowded. The condo was quiet and well appointed. Having the beach stuff available to us in the condo made a huge difference. It is so appreciated. The giant soft sided cooler and ice packs already in the freezer were the best. We used it everyday. Excellent communication before and during the stay. I asked a ton of questions before arrival and always got quick courteous answers. I would definitely recommend this condo to others and would stay again myself.

Loved the location of this property. Close to a wonderful beach and great shops. Property manager was accommodating and helpful. The condo itself could use some updates- some things as simple as fixing the toilet paper holder. Would definitely stay here again.

The condo was spacious for just the two of us and the complex was well maintained and quiet. We booked a same day reservation due to some last minute travel changes so there were some check-in issues. The check-in email was not sent automatically and I had to call the Vacasa customer service number which was quickly answered. However, we were given the wrong keycode twice and the third code was for the keybox which was good enough that I didn't bother trying to get the correct keycode at that point. Vacasa also called saying we hadn't checked in which was not the case as I confirm with the complex office. The balcony and adjoining living area provide lovely westerly views but that also means that the single window AC unit was not sufficient to keep up with the mid afternoon heat (outside temp were in the high 80s). This was not a big deal for us as we were usually out and about enjoying the island. The bedsheets need to be refreshed as they were breaking down and pilling. Had to be careful with the dishwasher as well since there is a seal that was coming loose. The shower head is also pretty low at approximately 5 feet. These are not big issues but not ones I've had at other Vacasa stays. We enjoyed our time nevertheless. Late checkout was offered which was nice.

We always try to stay at Maui Vista when we make our annual February trip to Kihei as it is conveniently located and well insulated from street noise. This was our first time at Building 3. The condo is exactly as advertised. Because it is not in direct sun light, we didn't need to use the air conditioning unit at all. The previous renters had broken some things, but the property managers were immediately there and solved the problems quickly and efficiently. The kitchen itself is well appointed and there are plenty of "extra" thoughtful touches. We would have rented it again next year, but the calendar showed someone else beat us to it.

Everything perfect. Walking distance to bars and restaurants. Apartment is directly in front of beach (2 minutes walking). Looks much better than on photos.

Close to the beach with a crosswalk right in front of the complex. An easy walk to restaurants and grocery. A little noise from the street. I’d be happy to stay here again.
