Courtyard by Marriott Atlanta Lithia Springs

What guests think

At Courtyard by Marriott Atlanta Lithia Springs, travelers consistently praise the friendly staff, generally clean, comfortable rooms, and a convenient location with easy parking, while some note occasional maintenance problems or noise from HVAC units and hallways.

The gym is well equipped and bar service is praised, but pool access and towels were inconsistent for some, an elevator outage caused delays, and breakfast is pay-only. Many describe rooms as spacious and quiet, though a few report musty odors or dated bathroom fixtures, and occasional issues with TV connectivity or receiving the reserved bed type. Housekeeping during multi night stays was sometimes limited, and a few bathrooms showed missed spots or slow drains. Expect a comfortable, convenient base, but verify housekeeping frequency and amenity details important to you.

The first room we checked into had no air conditioning and the refrigerator was broken. The second room they put us in was dirty. Stains in the bathroom. Broken toilet paper holder. The shower was not clean. The bedding seemed clean, but we did take the top blanket off Because of stains. On Saturday night one of the elevators broke so there was one elevator running during check out on Sunday and it took forever to leave the room. They also only had two luggage carts for two adjoining hotels. I would never stay here again.

We were only able to swim 1 out of 4 nights due to the property running out of chlorine. The thermostat in room could never be controlled correctly, so we were always freezing or too hot. Breakfast was available, but not included. Missed that on reserving. They did, however, find the grandchildren’s stuffed animals and saved them for when we realized they were missing, we were able to get them back.

Overall it was a great experience and I would stay here again. I have family in ATL, but for reasons I won't get into, I was unable to stay with them this time. Customer service was fantastic And cleanliness of the room was 95% great! I deducted a star for two reasons: 1) The walls are a bit thin, so rowdy people in the hallways were clearly heard. 2) The interior designer chose a horrible wallpaper for the bathroom (one that could not be cleaned), so all 'toilet spray' shows up as lime green on the wall behind the toilet. I don't expect that hotels are 100% pristine but this was quite in-your-face. Bottom line: Would I stay here again? Absolutely!

Terrible service and experience would not recommend. At 4:30 am the heating unit went out which created a loud buzzing sound. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. The rooms could use a bit of updating, as my first room had a musty odor and I requested to switch. The second room still had a slight smell, but it wasn’t as noticeable. I think it may have been due to the heat outside and the AC not blowing strongly at first. I let the front desk know, and they promptly sent someone to check it out. By the time I returned, everything was resolved and comfortable. The only other thing I’d note is that the shower could use some updating to feel more modern and refreshed.
