I stayed in this hotel years ago because of its excellent location and old school motel charm. The new owners have done an amazing job with upgrades and it is clean and updated, with cute vintage details: just the perfect place to stop along your way.

We had a wonderful stay at Foothills Motel! The room was small but cozy, with comfortable beds and an AC that worked great. Parking was free and spacious, and it was quiet enough that we all slept well. It was perfect for our family of four—my wife and I and our two girls. The girls especially loved finding horror movies on the cable channels! The weather was so nice that I only wish a room with a patio had been available. We’d happily stay here again.

This is the cutest place! CHATgpt suggested it as a place to stay when we were looking for a halfway between Lake Tahoe and SFO. The renovations to this classic motel are fun and clean. We loved the next door bowling alley! The room was comfy and clean. Highly recommend!
