Hideaway Lodge - Glen Lake, Lake George

Great place, great amenities (pool, hot tub, firepit, grill), great location (easy drive to Lake George)

The house was great and so was the communication. The bummer was we couldn't go in the pool for 2 1/2 days with a pump problem.

My family gathered for a funeral. This property was outstanding to accommodate that get together although in the winter time all the facilities were not used, but this seem to be readily available and in working order.

The house was great and as described. We had a few minor issues (heat not working, water filter not working, etc.), but the host was very communicative and helpful. However, we went in the hot tub on the first night, and half of our group developed horrible hot tub folliculitis. The host said it was because we left the lid off (which isn't true) and hasn't helped much since, and the affected in our group have painful lymph nodes, infected sores, and uncomfortable rashes. Without this, the house would've been great, but considering it's nearly five days later and people need to go to urgent care is a pretty big issue unfortunately that we can't overlook.

We wish we could have stayed longer! The house was wonderful and equipped with everything you could think of. Great area too!
