what can I say? Staff was friendly and staircase in lobby was pretty and room was clean, that is where it stops. The pool was being worked on, the snack room had no snacks, the breakfast room was nice but they served no breakfast not even coffee, then they tell us there is no hot water after we checked in. Also we almost did not find the place the sigh by road and on motel said Quality Inn. He tells me they have owned it for over a year. My recommendation do not stay there until they finally decide to get it ready for travelers.

I have stayed here several times over the last 10 years it has become very outdated and service is very lacking with new owners. Pool was in terrible shape, no air in main hotel lobby, breakfast was minimal, over all it was not worth the stay anymore.

Room was comfy and clean. Pool and patio area were wonderful with hours being opened until midnight. Breakfast was good. Staff were constantly replacing items. Yes, the juice machine was broken however they did have fresh orange juice available.

Got there to check in. Had a reservation for a king size bed. Get there to be told they only have one room with a king left and a key card won’t work to let us in he will have to every time we want it. Put us in another room with a smaller bed no discount no nothing. Get to room no toilet paper no shampoo and conditioner to be told sorry we’re out. Had to slam the door to our room to even get it to shut and no lock on the inside. Was super excited when we booked the hotel because they had a pool also. Nope wasn’t allowed in that either due to having it closed for “maintenance” but when we went out later that night after it was closed had it been open. The owners kids were in it. Will never go back!!!!!

When we checked in the pool was not open. And the pool did not re open till 30 minutes before our check out. Our son was looking forward to swimming and was very bummed out.

It had been probably 20 years since I was here last,it is pretty rundown. Many things had out of order signs. The beds had a flat sheet and very light bedspread. I asked for a couple blankets, they gave me one. Couldn’t see the bottom of the pool. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean and very nice. Breakfast was ok. Overall a nice hotel. Just getting older.

We stayed at Precious Hotel in Carthage MO. The carpets hadn't been vacuumed in the hallways for a long time. Not had our room . Our room has canisters of D-con out in plain sight. Which our kids were older but could have been a problem for smaller children. The breakfast room was filthy and the trash can was overflowing with trash obviously there from the day before. No milk and when we asked they just said we're out. Eggs were cold just in a metal tray with no warmer. But the staff had plenty of time to stand outside and smoke. I knew we were in trouble when we checked in at 8pm and the desk staff had to run down the hall to check if the room was clean first. At least the sheets in the bed were clean.

There was no staff in facilities in the mornings was left a number to call for service that was a Florida number, we were in Missouri. No breakfast not coffee not anything available to any guests. The entire building walking in smells like a cat litter box. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. Wish i could get my money back. I was very unwelcoming.

First room the a/c was not plugged in - there wasn't even a plug for it. Got a new room. AC worked. The bathroom had evidence of black mold. I get that it is the Precious hotel, but the photos in the room seem creepy. Breakfast was not refilled and there was no attendant monitoring it.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! I honestly believe the good reviews on this place had to either be the employees or people they paid. We got to the room and it was dirty. Honestly, it went downhill from there. The next day we had no clean towels. When we went to the front desk to ask, they told us they only change them out every 2 to 3 days. They said they would write it down that we needed towels every day. We were told they only clean the room every 2 to 3 days unless we request otherwise. This was a six night stay so on the third day we asked that our room be cleaned and new linens. I watched him write our name down and was told that it would be done that day. We got back to our room that night, it was not clean, no new towels, and the trash was still there. We went back to the front desk. The next morning I made the same request, it was clean that day, but no new linens were put on beds. They basically just wiped down the sink and took out the trash. From that point on we had to go to the front desk to ask for towels. One day they had no clean towels and had to give us pool towels. The towels were very stained, the orange juice pitcher in the breakfast area had mold on the handle, we killed 2 roaches, the floors were filthy. I seriously could go on. Again, DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

The run property is run down and dirty. The receptionist sent us to three different rooms before we found a "clean" room. The other rooms had other people's luggage and unmade beds and dirty bathrooms. The receptionist complained to another coworker the this happens regularly (her list of "clean" rooms are not actually clean). Our "clean" room was in poor shape. There are tears in the carpet, stains on bedding, and in overall poor condition. We ended up going to Walmart and purchasing our own bedding to use. This hotel needs much more work than just rebranding.

This was a huge disappointment! I called ahead to let the front desk know that we would check in at 9:00pm. We arrived and they had no king rooms available even though I made the reservation the day before. They gave us a double queen room and it was filthy. Chip crumbs on the floor, bedding was stained and the bathroom light didn’t even work. I could also figure out why they didn’t have a king room available because as you walk down the hallway you can see all the rooms that need cleaned by a dirty towel propping the doors open. I will never go back to this hotel again and we stay in this area very often.

The towels looked either dirty or stained. The carpet in my room was filthy/greasy and felt weird on my feet. The bedding was also stained. The shampoo and conditioner bottles in the shower looked like they had pubes or facial hair on them. The bathroom was gross so I bought supplies to clean it before I used it. The only good thing about this place was the price and the people were kind. The cleanliness is rated as an F.

The staff was friendly enough at check-in and check-out however the room was not super clean. There was dirt on the carpet when we came in and what think was a cigarette burn on the bedspread. There was about a quarter of a roll of toilet paper so I had to ask for more. One of the towels I was going to use, I think was clean but had brown poop-looking stains on it. The bathroom really needed a deep cleaning. We only stayed one night so we made do but I would not stay here again. My daughter also seen someone's fake eyelashes floating in the pool. I think in it's prime this hotel was beautiful with the staircase as you first come in but it's just not been well kept.

an older property that could use some cosmetic touch-ups, but nothing that really matters. on the plus side, easy to get to, very quiet, parking lot very well lit. reserved a king bed, they gave me 2 kings in huge room. better pillows than most places. a/c worked great. for the price, a very good place to stay.

The hotel is ok. They are doing some work to it. My room was dark and hard to see in even during daylight hours. The bed was clean and comfortable but there were particles of ??? in the shower, on the bathroom floor and a lot of crumbs in the night stand drawer.

The only trouble we had was that our room card key would not work. The lady from the front desk had to unlock our door with a real key. So it was late anyways so we just didn’t have a key. The room was very nice and cool for a very hot day. We really enjoyed it because ours is broken.

People just hanging around the door ways. Room had runs in the carpet, drapes were torn, rats eating our unopened chips and crackers, hallway spelled like pee, shower curtain bar was installed backwards, so the shower curtain would cling to you instead of giving you extra room, every time we left our room and came back we had to go to the front desk to get it reactivated. I was there for 10 days.

Parking and AC were not an issue. They first refused to give me the room. Aftwr hotels.com got involved (this took almost 1.5 hours) they "found" a room. The room had a hole in the wall and cracked bathtub. They did not clean the room at all over the 3 day stay. The breakfast service was so bad rhe only edible thing was cereal and that required i ask every day for them to fill the milk.

So-so hotel. Took us 10+ minutes to get checked in. Room was clean. Old decor - drapes so long they covered the air conditioner so we had to situate them to prevent the ac blowing them open every time it kicked on. Amenities says “buffet breakfast”. Do not stay here. They do not have soap in any of the rooms and have been very rude. I tried explaining that according to American Disabilities Act they can not ask for paper work for a working dog. They can only ask if it is a working dog and what it does. The owner threatened to kick me out and was very rude. He said he is exempt because he is an independent owned business. Unfortunately that does not matter to ADA. The federal rules apply to them as well as anyone else. The hotel is trying to remodel but not doing a very good job. Please skip this hotel

Parking and AC were not an issue. They first refused to give me the room. Aftwr hotels.com got involved (this took almost 1.5 hours) they "found" a room. The room had a hole in the wall and cracked bathtub. They did not clean the room at all over the 3 day stay. The breakfast service was so bad rhe only edible thing was cereal and that required i ask every day for them to fill the milk.

This was a huge disappointment! I called ahead to let the front desk know that we would check in at 9:00pm. We arrived and they had no king rooms available even though I made the reservation the day before. They gave us a double queen room and it was filthy. Chip crumbs on the floor, bedding was stained and the bathroom light didn’t even work. I could also figure out why they didn’t have a king room available because as you walk down the hallway you can see all the rooms that need cleaned by a dirty towel propping the doors open. I will never go back to this hotel again and we stay in this area very often.

The new manager is obviously still learning things but went above and beyond to make our rough check In experience better and upgraded our room to a suite because of the hassle. I would say that the stairs could use cleaning, the room we stayed in was very nice and clean! Definitely an older hotel but wasn’t a horrible experience! Just rough at first, the rest of the stay was fine!

Hopefully this isn’t common, but I asked for clean bedsheets, as they were hairy. Also, someone tried to open my door in the middle of the night. I had the dead bolt locked, so they didn’t get in.

People just hanging around the door ways. Room had runs in the carpet, drapes were torn, rats eating our unopened chips and crackers, hallway spelled like pee, shower curtain bar was installed backwards, so the shower curtain would cling to you instead of giving you extra room, every time we left our room and came back we had to go to the front desk to get it reactivated. I was there for 10 days.

Very disappointing. We were the only customers there so felt unsafe. Rooms were depressing and beds were horrible. Orange juice was watered down. Will never stay there again. I thought it was a Best Western from years ago but Quality inn has now taken it over. There is no quality.

This hotel is the worse hotel, am a traveler and I travel even in a small country their hotel is not as bad at this. Don’t stay here, yes after a long day back they gave our room to someone else because they said there was nothing in the room, well the night before there was someone trying to break in my room so why would I trust to have my stuff in the room, they gave us new room and saying that is an upgrade, yes the pictures is the upgraded room with some clothes from some one is inside the toilet

This place was run down and the service was horrible. They put us in an joining room. We didnt need it. The property is run down. There wasnt wifi but they were working on it. I parked my car close to my room and was asked why I didnt park in front. I didnt feel safe at all. The room was dirty as well.

what can I say? Staff was friendly and staircase in lobby was pretty and room was clean, that is where it stops. The pool was being worked on, the snack room had no snacks, the breakfast room was nice but they served no breakfast not even coffee, then they tell us there is no hot water after we checked in. Also we almost did not find the place the sigh by road and on motel said Quality Inn. He tells me they have owned it for over a year. My recommendation do not stay there until they finally decide to get it ready for travelers.

We stayed at Precious Hotel in Carthage MO. The carpets hadn't been vacuumed in the hallways for a long time. Not had our room . Our room has canisters of D-con out in plain sight. Which our kids were older but could have been a problem for smaller children. The breakfast room was filthy and the trash can was overflowing with trash obviously there from the day before. No milk and when we asked they just said we're out. Eggs were cold just in a metal tray with no warmer. But the staff had plenty of time to stand outside and smoke. I knew we were in trouble when we checked in at 8pm and the desk staff had to run down the hall to check if the room was clean first. At least the sheets in the bed were clean.

I have stayed here several times over the last 10 years it has become very outdated and service is very lacking with new owners. Pool was in terrible shape, no air in main hotel lobby, breakfast was minimal, over all it was not worth the stay anymore.

First room the a/c was not plugged in - there wasn't even a plug for it. Got a new room. AC worked. The bathroom had evidence of black mold. I get that it is the Precious hotel, but the photos in the room seem creepy. Breakfast was not refilled and there was no attendant monitoring it.

Room was comfy and clean. Pool and patio area were wonderful with hours being opened until midnight. Breakfast was good. Staff were constantly replacing items. Yes, the juice machine was broken however they did have fresh orange juice available.

The towels had stains on them. And we had no coffee to make in our room. The conditioner was completely out and the shower was dirty. Definitely housekeeping needs to step up there game.

We arrived after 6 pm and our room wasn't ready. Check in was supposed to be at 4. The security lock on our room wasn't there. That was a concern to me. The overall hotel needs an update. The breakfast was okay but nothing spectacular.

We recently stayed at quality inn in Carthage Mo and greatly enjoyed our stay! The rooms were very clean as well as the rest of the hotel. They were in the midst of a remodel so things were a little awry but overall it was a great experience. It is family owned and the owner and their family were so friendly! When we come back to visit we will stay here again!
