Omeo Suites draws mixed reviews as a budget, motel‑style stay with some modern touches, where friendly staff contrast with frequent reports of poor cleanliness, smoke odors, and rooms that do not match the online photos.
Guests also cite broken fixtures, water leaks, malfunctioning AC or jetted tubs, and occasional missing safety devices. On the positive side, several appreciated renovated rooms with smart TVs or rain showers and easy parking. The location is handy for restaurants, CVS, and transit, though the immediate area can feel rough and noisy. Overall, this is best for short, low‑cost stays if expectations are modest.

I will say that the pictures are very misleading. There was also no breakfast or complimentary dinner provided. The beds were very comfortable and I really liked the modern shower. The room was not very clean when we arrived but after asking for a deep clean, they did a good job making sure it was clean each day after that. A small inconvenience of not having an iron and ironing board in the room, but they did provide an iron when I asked at the front desk. It was worth the price that I paid, so I really wasn't expecting a 5-star experience. The outside of the property was the most disappointing because there was literally trash just thrown around in the parking lot. It is a very affordable option if you need a room and have a tight budget. Overall, I liked the beds and the shower but that was just about it.

The facility looks like a Motel that was half way renovated into a Hotel. Guest park their vehicles directly in front of the room door. The room is basic, but housekeeping needs to do better with cleaning. The wooden floors needed to mopped and there was rust on all handels and fixtures. The bed had a curve in the middle, where it literally sinks the body slightly in. They do have a flatscreen tv with apps to watch shows. The jacuzzi tub needs to be bleached down and ports sanitized. Long strands of hair were left in the shower drain upon check-in. Lastly, the AC units are old and built into the wall where the back side is visibly hanging from the outside of the room. In sum, if you need a spot to crash for one night it could work, but this is definitely not a vacation spot for long term use.

Got a jacuzzi sweet it was a small tube with only the shower head to fill it up. Water was not even warm.the room smell like smoke and weed. And the floor was dirty with dust, the bed sheets were dirty, the bed was uncomfortable to sleep on and you only get one pillow that was uncomfortable as well. I would not be coming here again. The pictures on the site are deceiving. They need to upgrade them so people actually see how it looks. And there was no phone to call for service. Very bad

I really liked how they provid shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, hair dryer, water bottles, coffee. I love that they have microwaves and a refrigerator in the room we stayed in. I also love that they have a smart tv with Netflix, YouTube, and more. The rooms are super clean and with advanced technology for the lights as well as the curtains. The parking lot is safe and cameras all around. Customer service is very friendly. The amount of pillows was also amazing and their mattresses feel comfy. Definitely will book again when needing to do so.

Just overall the room was really dirty we had to scrub the shower and the bathtub with Clorox and other household cleaning products also they were stained walls the bed was stained on top of that there was just a bunch of Filth all around the sink it looks like they didn't clean the room the shampoo and hand soap that were in the dispensers were full of mold so again I will not be coming back to this hotel they definitely need to go ahead and do a maintenance job on all the rooms if if they're dirty

The room was dirty. Stains on walls, rust mark in the shower, bunch of hair captured by the entry door seal had velcro too and it was full of hair bundles. Towels were thin as if it was beaten up from wash/bleach, it didn't feel clean. Soap and lotion dispensers were not operable and half filled.

Great location with plenty of restaurants nearby and a CVS just a short walk away, plus lots of parking. The staff was fine, but the room was a letdown—modern but poorly maintained, smelling like cigarettes with dirty floors, marked-up walls, and a bed covered in lint and random hairs. If it were properly cleaned, it’d be a solid budget stay, but as is, it’s only good for a quick crash, not a long stay.

The room was dirty. From the walls to the floor. The blinds didn’t open. Toilet felt like it was going to fall forward. Coffee pot didn’t work. Luggage rack was broken. Soap dispenser empty. Shower was gross and really awkward. One towel. Place is very run down. Location was convenient. They had cheap water to purchase. We asked for room to be cleaned and they did mopped the floor and give us more linens. The pictures provided on the website look absolutely nothing like the rooms. I felt very deceived.

This is the safest and friendliest hotel available especially for this price. I’ve stayed here many times and I have seen the staff be extremely compassionate and helpful to every guest. For example, they were personally using an app on their phone to translate for a customer who didn’t speak English and was trying to ask a question about their stay. They go out of their way to help everyone and they don’t gouge you, ever.

The front desk was lovely and the space was clean. Some fancy features, like the shower system and the bedside table blue tooth speakers I never figured out, nor were there instructions. For being close to the street, it was a quiet night and I felt safe with the 24 hour desk open and cameras throughout. Simple and easy and a good price. I can't really complain. Brought my own blanket as the bedding is a bit sparing.

I stayed here once before it was not that bad so we came back for a visit to Los Angeles again and came to stay at this hotel. Oh my God was it is the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life no phone in the room there was hair everywhere. It looked like dried up, catch up. I’m hoping it was dried up, catch up everywhere very very dirty. When we tried to tell the front desk they pretended like I didn’t speak English. They made us feel very weird and awkward there. I felt like we were going to get robbed or or something felt very unsafe there. I do not recommend this place it is very very dirty. You will catch something under beds. We did not sleep. We slept with her sweaters on I don’t think by us giving our money and having to go through that terrible experience that we experience I do not recommend this place

We booked based on the pictures and the location close to the Rose Bowl. When we arrived it is clearly a motel not hotel and was not a suite. The area seemed a little shady . The room located on second floor was ok beds ok , no soap and very little shampoo in the dispensers. We only spent the one night and it was very loud. It seems only the rooms are non smoking , guest stood outside their rooms and smoked. If you have the air on like we did it pulled the smell right into our room. Not sure I can recommend.

All the rooms have been redone and look new. Bed was good. But there was a party next door that went on all night with loud music. And people kept pounding on my door at all hours of the night. Didn't get much sleep. And some random woman came to my door and told me to stop video taping her (which I wasn't ) The area just gave off some strange vibes...som dangerous ones too.

The room was clean and they gave two free bottles of water. Very straightforward room, no frills, not a place of luxury but not a dive either. Good for just passing through and limited time in room. The shower was nice, it had many water spigot functions. The AC cranked. My card didn’t work to get in but they fixed it. Not for romance but got the job done. CVS walking distance. Bus to Union station across street. 20 min bus ride to Union Station. Get Tap App for transit.

Nice place, better than I was expecting. The room with 2 queen beds was spacious. Could use a little more cleaning - the floor needed more sweeping and mopping. My slippers got a lot of dirt on the bottom walking around in the room. Bed sheets are not the greatest quality, very thin. But the area was safe and the front desk staff were friendly & courteous. There’s a Starbucks, Jamba Juice, CVS and even a Kohls just a couple of blocks away. Lots of eating places in the area. I would stay here again.

It wasnt like the pictures and it wasnt safe at all. Alot of drug addicts around the hotel. Breakfast didnt have anything no milk, pancakes or waffles.

Excellent overall. Great that they had Netflix accounts preloaded onto the TV. Convenient location close to the Crypto. Comfy bed and even had a couch to sit. Only minor flaw was the light on the bathroom mirror didnt work.

My room was nice and it was clean. The staff was friendly during check in. The only issue I had was the “breakfast” in the morning was a box of doughnuts and a gallon of milk that had expired the day before. Aside from that, I’d stay there again.

Honestly i was so impressed with this hotel. There have been some so-so reviews, but i don't think they are warranted. They rooms are clean and seem to be newly renovated. The bathroom has an amazing rainfall shower system that was a treat. The beds were comfortable and had new, clean linens. There is a small breakfast in the morning (nothing fancy - donuts and granola bars) and plenty of free covered and uncovered parking. I would definitely stay here again - I needed to go to Cal State LA and this hotel is close enough to walk if you want. I've already booked a return trip in March.

Very affordable cozy and nice suite room with everything included. I always enjoy staying in their jetted tub rooms. They have free breakfast in the morning too. Easy and ample parking. Friendly staff.

Nice modern decoration. I enjoyed the rain shower. Dinner and breakfast were included in the price but I definitely trade them for clean sheets. Very disappointed with the cleanliness. There was hair on on a pillow and sheets.

It was the cheapest place we found and we were not expecting it to be really good with all the facilities. They even provide light breakfast to go which helps a lot. The doughnuts were soo good. Our room were massive and they have free ice dispenser 24hrs to use. Definitely recommend! Highly recommend

Very clean, every amenity available, clean and operational. Best feature: awesome espresso coffee machine in the lobby with very good coffee. Exterior sidewalks could be cleaner and/or refurbished.
