Hotel had a lovely view of the lake and great location near many wineries. Great deal for location and price. Room was clean where it needed to be (bed , toilet, shower) but lacking in some details- something gross smeared on wall in room and some splash stains on walls in bathroom. Bedroom also had a strange smell. Tv remote also didn’t work even with new batteries.

This property is such a waste of a great location. It smells like heavy cleaning solution when you walk in the lobby yet it is not maintained at all. The elevators dropped a little bit at each floor making you feel like they were going to break. There were dishes in the hallway outside our room for 3 days. Our tissue box in the bathroom was under the sink on the floor. No one was at the front desk and when they came out of the office it seemed like we were bothering her. She was not friendly or welcoming. The only person who was attentive and helpful was the housekeeping person. It was over $300 a night on the weekend. They need a new manager.

The best part of this hotel is it's location- right on Seneca Lake, convenient to the bike path and downtown restaurants. It's truly spectacular. However, everything else is dreadful. The patio area and furniture is coated with bird droppings from the seagulls which populate the roof, and which they do nothing to eliminate or clean up. This gets tracked into the hotel. Disgusting! The pool and workout area smell moldy, and there are broken windows in the pool area. The beds are terrible- the mattresses are far to hard, almost as bad as sleeping on the floor. This is a sub par establishment, a flop house really, but at $300/night they don't charge like it. We stayed here earlier this summer and found the same bad conditions ,but because of the location, thought we would give it another try. We won't be coming back until it's under new management. I recommend the Hampton Inn ( right across the road ), or one of the many B and B's in the area.
