Upon arrival. The police were there to help someone in a bad situation. Our room had an extra bed to accommodate sleeping 5 people. The extra room was super hot at night, the door wouldn’t shut unless you moved the bed way over, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, the freezer had spilled milk and was pretty gross. Everything is way outdated. The pool was so gross my kids didn’t want to swim) The only reason I gave it two stars was because it was close to places you could walk to in town for food and groceries. This place needs a major remodel and new beds and it would be wonderful. Also to note there is a pet fee. We reserved three nights to explore Kanab, unfortunately it was non-refundable from hotels.com. So we cut our losses and left after one night and went to St.George. We didn’t want to stay in Kanab any longer.

This is a dilapidated motel with no staff, supplies or service. Not enough hot water, pool not only out of service, but surrounded with trash. Ice machine out of service and full of dirt. Unsightly stains on carpet and drapes. Big, cement cigarette ashtray right outside my room filled with butts. My room and the pillows smelled like an ashtray. I had an asthma attack. Not a good choice

We had the most uncomfortable stay in this room. There were 3 beds. The two in the living room looked like they were full/double. The queen bed was in a room on the side. The door to the queen bedroom didn't close easily. The bathroom door was a pocket door that squeaked something awful. The ceiling was falling apart. There is no breakfast included at this hotel. We wouldn't likely stay here again.

Room had just been painted and masking tape still covered door lock. TV and phone did not work and manager could not fix. Ice machine broken and cooler containing ice was empty. Had to ask that it be refilled. Paid the extra $20 for dog fee but parking lot was so full of sand burrs she could only take a few steps before I had to remove the burrs from her feet.

Doesn’t look like much from the outside but is very cute inside. Beds are GARBAGE! Didn’t sleep hardly at all. People next door started arguing at 2 am keeping me even more awake. I would stay again and would probably suggest it to friends. Just need to get the beds under control.

The staff are awesome, very friendly and helpful. The beds and bathroom were clean. The carpet and front door look like they haven’t been cleaned in years. The air conditioner and refrigerator make a ridiculous amount of noise. The location to Zion National Park is really nice. There is a grocery store right next to the hotel that stays open past 9, very convenient. If you want a working TV be prepared to be disappointed, but the front desk said if it was a problem they would come and fix it. We didn’t need it.

We showed up late. They left a key for us under the door mat. We got there and the room wasn't cleaned from the previous guests. It was midnight and had no other option but to try to sleep in dirty bedding and use a bathroom with used towels all over the floor. The lobby was closed we tried to call but no one answered. It was not pleasant. Then the cleaner knocks on our door a 9 am and the owner is there as well asking me to sign the papers I didn't sign the night before. I explained what happened they started arguing at our doorstep it was awkward. Owner didn't offer refund or any compensation. Just said sorry... Disaster

Everyone is so nice and helpful with anything you ask. The rooms smell and look so good. The housekeeper is kind and goes out of her way to make my stay nice. They are a pet friendly hotel and have easy parking. The hotel has a old country style and the staff make you feel at home and comfortable. I will be back again.

Our long driving day had us arriving around 1 in the morning. After speaking to the front desk on the phone, we were able to expedite our check-in to get into our room quickly. Overall, the room was comfortable. You could tell that the hotel was per-friendly, but it didn’t smell or stink like animals unless you got on the ground (I lost my glasses at one point and checked under the bed, which had been destroyed by a cat from a previous tenant).

I got to meet Shannon and Karen. Also the Boss that works in the office. They are the most pleasant you could ever meet. If you needed anything they are right there to help accommodate you. The next time I go to kanab I'm staying at redrockcountry inn. I really enjoyed my 3 days I spent there. It was a lot of fun and they have reasonable prices.

First of all Kanab, Utah is gorgeous. If you want to get the full experience in this beautiful little town this motel puts you right in the middle. The rooms serve a basic purpose, great water pressure in the shower, and clean, with fantastic customer service.
