Stayed 3 nights

This was my second time staying here. Last time I stayed on the creek, this time I saved some money testing out the street side units. The creekside is very calming, with the creek providing the only sounds. The street side was less noisy than I expected. The units are well insulated and you can hear cars if you really listen for them but its not a problem. Anyhow Sally and the gang are very friendly and helpful and accommodate anything you need - she even held a creekside room for me so I could decide when I arrived. My daughter lives in Waynesville with her newborn so I'll be back. There is a coffee place, a bakery, and several restaurants within walking distance, so its very convenient if you don't have a car.

This is an amazing local owned family operated property. Yes, it is a little older. It's not fancy, but you won't find a cleaner property and nicer people. It is important to support the local owners.

Older motel so if that turns you off keep looking, clean , beds are ok.. ( memory foam) wifi was not real good, nice rockers in front of your room with great views of the mountains. I would definitely stay again, close to shopping and food
