Breakfast was very delicious and the attendees were extremely diligent in doing an excellent job wiping things down and continuing to monitor the whole operation. The price was fair , the front desk was fast and knowledgeble, the shuttle service was agreat help. Parking downtown is almost always a royal pain so it is nice to catch a ride at a fair price.

It was good except they have started charging for parking, 20.00 a day and the breakfast has changed a lot. They used to make several different foods now it is scrambled eggs and sausage links everyday. We liked the potatoes and different pancakes they used to make. My husband liked the grits. But they stopped all that. I really don’t like that they charge for parking when you already paid to stay there.

Great location, Staff great, shuttle to downtown St. Augustine and Vilano beach, Very dog friendly with dog park. Downside A\c and Dehumidifier are very loud so if you need a very quiet sleeping environment maybe reconsider.

They changed the breakfast since the new owners took over. It was Southern Oaks Inn when we booked it. Our room floor was dirty. Our socks were black writhing 15 min of walking around. The Staff was good and the Shuttle was good, even if they charge for that as well now. Dislike having to pay $20 + tax nightly now to park.

The first surprise is that they charge you $20 to park your car there. It's absurd. The second is that the rooms aren't very clean. It's obvious the bed covers haven't been washed in a while, the sink was clogged, and live cockroaches were found next to the toilet. There was a single bed in the room that smelled a bit off and had a lot of pet hair. It wasn't a pleasant experience. I give the place 4 out of 10. The common areas like the stairs look dirty and poorly maintained. The American-style breakfast wasn't bad, but it could have been more complete.

Dirty bed linens! This is our 3rd and last time staying here. Twice we’ve had issues with hair on the bed linens. Sheets were wrinkled as if they were never changed. The front desk ladies were nice to come to our room and change the sheets. Breakfast is not what it used to be. Such a disappointment. Will not be staying here again.

Our room as soon as we opened the door smelt like mildew. The floors looked clean, but walking without shoes, the bottom of our sox were FILTHY. I don't think the corner by the window has been vacuumed or dusted in the past 6 months. The baseboards DEFINITELY need to be cleaned & painted. Also black mold in the shower. DEFINITELY NOT IMPRESSED!!!

There a no towel bar in the bathroom, just a hook on tbe back of the door. In tbe vanity area there is a 24" rod in front of 2 hooks. Thats it for towels. There is no closet or hanging space. If you have your own hangers you could use that rod. The room has two beds to sleep 4 people. That would be very awkward.

They used to make a different variety of food for you to choose from now it is the same thing every day. The mattress is very very firm not comfortable.

The motor hotel has some nice features. The dog park area is excellent however there is no small dog area. The rooms are clean but very small. The bedding is not great. The breakfast is pretty awful. The coffee is extremely weak, very few options and no fresh items, cheaply done. In fact we didn’t even go in there after the first morning. The dehumidifier in the room is noisy. The location is decent. The most frustrating thing about the hotel is the constant upsells. Parking fee $20 a night for a motor hotel? $10 a day shuttle fee (used to be free). They do sell cold beer in the lobby pretty cheap, Overall, it’s an ok place in a somewhat convenient location to historic St.Augustine.

Really great room with lots of amenities; lots of electrical and USB ports for technology devices. Easy to get in and out of the hotel space and they had a shuttle (for a price) that went downtown. Only issue was a bathroom sink that was very slow in draining.

The room was nice, clean and surprisingly quiet considering most motels have some noise. No door slamming or room noises. The only problem with the room was the toilet. It must be the shortest one made. For someone like me with age and knee problems it it harder to stand up. They weren't considering that issue when buying the cheapest toilets .

Just lovely! A pleasure to stay at a really nice motel. Clean, fresh, contemporary and comfortable. Walked to a wonderful bbq place for dinner - so convenient! The only downside was the noise from the road. ( not all the time but some )

The room was clean, beds were fairly comfortable, A/C worked great, breakfast was good, shower needs the shower head replaced due to poor flow. Did not like to have to pay to park at the facility, plenty of parking space. No ice machine close by my room.

Stayed here in 2022 and wow the quality deteriorated by a landslide. We loved the shuttle back in 2022, it was complimentary- now it costs 5 dollars which is fine but the front desk failed to tell us this even when I asked about the shuttle schedule. We tried getting on the shuttle and we were turned away and they left without us. We tried buying a pass but the front desk took half an hour to tend to people in the lobby so we decided to walk to the shopping district. Our bathroom door got stuck and I tried calling the front desk- no one answered. So I went to the front desk and the front desk guy told me he would come as soon as he was done with the remaining guests in the lobby. He literally never came so I had to go down again and he was alone, pretty sure he forgot about us. He had a really weird defensive attitude when I asked again, because we wanted to go to bed! (It was 11:30). I ended up unlocking it myself with a Bobby pin since he came 30 minutes after that, I was already in my pijamas. The breakfast was a joke so we didn’t even try to eat there. Don’t waste your time here.

The cleaning lady barged into my room when I told her I would be back in a couple minutes and she started throwing my stuff away and touching my stuff before I could clean and clear out of my room. I told the woman I’ll be back in five minutes I just had to go to my car with my luggage and she just barged in there as soon as I turned my back

Upon arrival our room was not ready. We had to wait until 4:45pm to access one of our rooms. The headphones we left in our room were stolen by housekeeping. I have reported the issue several times to the office staff and no one in the office staff seems to care. It is very difficult to get ahold of someone in the front desk. You have to leave messages and wait for a call back. I even called and left a message for the general manager and I am still waiting for an answer from him. I have stayed at this hotel 3x and I have never had an issue with this. It’s very sad that you have to go to a hotel and either have your room not receive room service or have to hide your things so that they are not taken from the INSIDE of your room.

We had a nice stay. Typically we stay closer to everything, but the drive was fairly close. Walking would be to far. The overall cleanliness was great! The beds were very firm ask for a mattress topper and make sure you explain what it is to the male staff there clueless. Breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage links, bread and a couple cereals. Oj and water coffee. I have definitely had better. Dont forget about the 20 dollar parking fee daily plus tax. Overal a 3 out of 5. Cleanliness bumped it to a 3.

food was plain needed sprinkle cheese for eggs that were a bi runny , sausage needed a bit more cooking. bagals were stale orange juice was water with orange coloring. it was edible but not worth the parking fee to sleep at this place. coffee shock a truck driver.

They charge xtra to park at the parking for the hotel. There lounge and bar is the hotel lobby. There free drinks r for those 2$ shots from the package store. I stayed a week was never told hello or good morning by staff once. Also there breakfast had no fruit but one day. Their selection was the same every day and even when arriving at 702 food was already cold. Moved to a different hotel in the same area. Very pretty on the outside tho…. Tourist trap!!

It’s an older property outside of downtown St Augustine. There were limited choices at breakfast and it was not very tasty. Previous reviews had raved about the breakfast but the place is under new management and things have certainly changed.

Everything was great! Hotel was convenient and clean, shuttle service to downtown was excellent and greatly appreciated. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The only negative was the breakfast, eggs, sausage, pancakes, potatoes, was not kept warm. Actually, it was cold. But I would definitely stay again.
