First off, Hotels.com needs to make it MUCH more obvious when a room has a SHARED BATHROOM. I didn’t realize this room had a shared bathroom until I received a message from the hotel after booking. Apparently, you really have to look closely when selecting the room to notice it. I was pretty frustrated, so I called the hotel to see if they had another room with a private bathroom, but they were sold out. Since I was only staying one night, I decided to just make the best of it. That said, the HOTEL STAFF WAS GREAT and the room was perfectly fine for a one-night stay. My room had a bed and sink, but no TV. The bathroom and showers were just down the hall. You need your room key to access them, and the showers are individual private rooms, so you do have privacy. If my girlfriend had been staying with me and needed to get ready, the shared bathroom situation probably would have been a bigger issue. For me, staying alone one night, it wasn’t a big deal. The hotel has a couple of restaurants and a rooftop bar, which was nice. Overall, good hotel and great staff. My biggest complaint is with Hotels.com. I contacted them before my stay about the bathroom situation, and they did nothing to help. Hotels.com really needs to do a better job clearly disclosing shared bathrooms when customers select a room.

Hotel Oregon is clean and the bed was comfortable. It is quite dark but I knew that going in. My only issue was that the internet was so spotty that I spent the evening waiting for the my device to connect. It would lose the signal and then have to try to reconnect. (Yes, I tried rebooting my device- an iPad.) I ended up watching a show on my phone.... I was told at the front desk that it was on old building and that they would try something on their end but it never got better. Take a book.

What a great place to stay! Don't be put off by the shared bathroom, it's way cleaner then half of the hotels I've stayed in! It's right downtown. Comfy beds. Staff was great. Couldn't ask for anything else, a wonderful stay. Ah, one thing, parking is about 2 short blocks away, but safe, easy walk.

Like their other properties, this is not a regular hotel. It's better. No TV in room, shared bathroom, 3 bars and restaurant. Like visitin europe, including a wardrobe in your room. Fun and quirky, get one of the 3rd floor patio rooms if it is hot
