The a/c in the room wasn’t that cool and the pool was dirty, as well as the floors and elevator.. staff was friendly and breakfast was decent.. beds comfortable

Need to update the hotel property

The pool could use some cleaning the water was very cloudy and debris was in the water

Undergoing construction, contractors in rooms banging, rooms dirty, things broken or not working like shades, tv, waiting room in main lobby was clustered with boxes

The parking was great but area too noisy and busy traffic.

I really wish we would’ve known the amenities were all closed.. couldn’t workout or swim, could’ve stayed somewhere else. The breakfast sucked and we got there early.

Hotel is under construction, this should be disclosed in the booking. The construction workers work until 8:00 to 10:00. Do not get room 211!

Reserved two rooms for my party. I got to my room and was missing curtains on my window among other things so I immediately went down to change rooms. Both our rooms had several things that were broken or in unacceptable condition. This included doors that wouldn’t close, rusted fixtures in the bathroom, etc. Their convenience area was empty and there were no vending machines on the property so I had to leave the property just to get a bottle of water. After reaching out to the property directly, their resolution was a refund of 50% of one of the two rooms.

The pool was under construction so that put an end to us trying to keep the kids occupied for a couple of hours! The front desk clerk was very nice and pleasant! My sister had to change rooms 3 times because they all smelled like wet dogs! The I was doubled charged for my room and they refused to reimburse me! So I had to call hotels.com which all they could do was launch an investigation! I finally got tired of dealing with the situation and had to call my bank to dispute the charges! Definitely won’t be on my places to go to list in the future!

The room smelled like mildew and there was mold growing on the wall by the baseboard.

Room and elevator was absolutely disgusting!!. I killed two cockroaches in my bathroom. Floor on my room bad and the couch with something on it.

First off, front desk staff was super nice! And yes, we felt as though the hotel was pet friendly. The breakfast selection was ok; however, the pancake batter was a little weird (like oily, juicy looking consistency) and tasted funny as well. We opted out after the first attempt. Our biggest complaint was the cleanliness. This hotel needs a major deep clean. Every counter in our room had not been wiped in a very long time. The lamps were covered in gross stuck on dust. The odor in both the room and hallway smelled like a Pot-O-Gold. The hallways needed to be swept, the same trash laid on the floor all weekend. The floors in our room were slimy and sticky. GROSS! The shower head was covered in gunk. The window was gross to look out of. Honestly, we were scared to touch mostly everything. I would not ever book this hotel again, unfortunately.

I will never stay here again. The property on the outside was well capped however the hotel itself is extremely stinky and dirty, hot and humid. The rooms linens and towels are wet to the touch. The floors have condensation on them. Upon entering the room, I lowered the AC from 72 to 68 hoping that would help the humidity level inside the room. The AC was extremely loud, but I had no choice. I had to use it in order to dry the floors and decrease the humidity inside the room.

Run down facility with smell of mold in our room and throughout entire 3rd floor. Needs upgraded. Heads up: bring your own hair dryer because none in the room and bring room spray for the bad moldy smell. Should be rated 2 1/2 star. This was the poorest quality Wyndham hotel that I have ever stayed in. Over priced for quality received. I will not be returning to this hotel and will not be recommending it to my family and friends. Lobby looked nice and remodeled, but not the room. Review of our room: air condition vent/filter was covered with dust/lent/mold, looked like a long time since cleaned or maybe never; bathroom door was falling apart at the bottom and would not shut without a hard push or pull, needs vent in the bathroom to prevent condensation from swelling of the door; shower head had mold on all water spouts, I wiped it off with numerous Kleenex and certainly was mold, housekeeping needs to learn how to clean shower heads, tub did not have stopper; no curtains, just one shade that would not lower without one person pulling down while other adjusted the chain to assist with lower it; electrical face plates cracker and partial missing; walls and doors had scuffed marks and missing paint and badly chipped walls at the baseboard area

Overall, our stay at this hotel was horrible and forced upon entry. We were greeted by a young gentleman by the name of Patel. He wasn’t very welcoming wasn’t mean he wasn’t rude, but not welcoming at all, and that was the start of a horrible day upon entering the room, the room had a older inside of it and stains all over the walls and fixtures were completely rusted door hinges rusted. The only thing that looked like they may have taken some time when cleaning was making the bed the sanitation in the room was absolutely horrible. I would not recommend anyone to stay here even if it’s one night I would not I completely understand that an older hotels they have older fixtures, fixtures. I understand you can’t always change unless you do a complete update but cleanliness was very poor. The breakfast in the morning at the hotel was not horrible. It was edible and available. It was suggested to possibly switch rooms. I was given the option of two other rooms after checking those rooms. One of them were in worse condition than the one that we were currently staying in. It shows that sanitation and cleanliness is not a top priority the housekeepers are just rushing to clean the rooms for the next guest. There’s no pride that’s put into anything that’s done at this hotel and the manager cannot be walking the property and checking these rooms because if they are, they would see that it’s horrible and the rating should be 1 1/2 stars at $40 a night not $93.

Do not stay at this hotel! When we first walked in the room, we saw a small roach crawling behind the dresser. We tried to brush it off but quickly noticed the room was not clean. The lounge chair had some mystery white staining all over. The coverlet on the bed was visibly dirty. We arrived late at night and figured we could get a few hours of sleep and leave ASAP. When we woke up the next morning, we continued to see multiple roaches crawling on the walls and floor. I let the lady at the front desk know and she seemed underwhelmed and did not even offer an apology. I never write reviews but I felt like this should be noted. Very upset and will never return.

It had mold in the rooms we moved us to 3 different rooms before finding one with no mold

We had stayed at this property 2 years prior for the same reason, visiting family in near by town for Christmas. The property at that time was great and we had a lovely stay. This time was awful and we checked out early on Christmas eve because it was so bad and check into another hotel for the remainer of our stay. To start with, at check in we announced ourselves at the counter only to find out the clerk was sitting on the couch watching tv and playing on their computer. After finishing what they were doing, decided to check us in. We needed additional bedding for the pullout couch for my son, they did not have pillows or blankets. We borrowed bedding family the next day. The room was dirty with smudges on the walls, the sheets on the king bed were stained, the sofa cushions were stained, the toilet seat was not attached and my husband had to attach it, the bathtub/shower had grime and hairs. We asked front desk for a stopper for tub since ours was missing and our son needed to take a bath, front desk informed us that they had not time to have it replaced but it would be replaced by the next time we decide to stay at the hotel again. By the second night we had roaches in bathroom. One across the counter and another by the toilet. We promptly checked out early in the morning, Christmas eve morning I remind you, to stay somewhere.

Nice and clean entrance not so clean room. There was mold on the window and suspicious hair in the sink. The bed was comfortable and clean and the floor not so much. The neighbors were awful, upstairs sounded like they had clown boots on walking heavily and moving furniture and people were running and yelling in the hallway.

The walls are very thin. I could hear the guy next door snore all night.

What was the point of checking in online and through the hotels emails? My guests and my wife were unable to check in to the correct reservations and were forced to pay for an extra room. This made for a frustrating end to a long day while trying to move across country. Have yet to see a refund for the extra room and doubt we will.

Interior needs work

Rooms are outdated- does not look like pictures. Beds are really uncomfortable

The only thing missing was the additional lock that hooks over on the door.

Barking dogs in room next to us, broken toilet, lack of towels, no stopper for the tub, dirty windows in breakfast area, unfriendly clerk, abandoned like car in parking lot.

The hotel is definitely a little beat up. Nothing horrible, just signs of cosmetic wear that have been patched. It seems like they’re just trying to get by not really spending a lot of money on maintaining the rooms. The hotel was priced accordingly, so my expectations were pretty low. Not a terrible stay, but something I might avoid unless it’s for the right price.

Where to start. The floor was dirty. The windows were dirty. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was caked with filth and very VERY loud. The breakfast is mediocre at best. Our toilet broke; there was no one to fix it so we had to move all our stuff to another room. No assistance from the staff with the move. In the second room the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn’t work at all. The floor in the second room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

My car broke down and staff was very helpful and understanding. They extended my checkout time so I could get it fixed.

Staff was friendly, but Debbie at front desk made our stay remarkable. Her warm smile, helpfulness and overall friendly personality made our stay a memorable one.

The service was great. Especially Debbie at the front desk! We ran out of toilet paper and needed some. I called down and Debbie said she would let housekeeping know. They didn't show up yet so I called back down and asked her should I send my son down. She said yes, and apologized that housekeeping hadn't brought it. My son went to go and Debbie was getting off the elevator to bring the needed items! The check in and checkout process was easy and convenient. However, the hotel itself is not well maintained. There was a dead bug on the bed. The room smelled musty, the lighting was very poor. The wall in the corner looked as if it had moisture and was coming a part. If it wasn't for Ms Debbie and the check in/check out it would have 1 star.

I did not like the fact upon opening the door to my room I was met with a man with a gun to my face. When I went downstairs to inform front desk that room was occupied, I was told that the person didn’t do their job.. No one called to check on me after the incident to see was I ok.. and have yet to speak to manager about this incident. I have not been able to sleep thinking about this incident and I have signed up for counseling and to talk with my lawyer…

Maria is the best…She always go above & beyond to make sure I’m completely satisfied with my room…Her welcome is very warming & she always have a smile.

The staff was exceptionally helpful and so nice !!

The room was nice, but needs a little updating in the bathroom. Ms. Debbie was warm and welcoming. She also explained where everything was and if I needed anything else that she would be able to assist within her shift!

This was absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in When I first walked in to the lobby the lady at the front desk was sitting down and acted as if I had bothered her by wanting to check in but she checked me in but definitely had no customer service skills. We paid for the "Presidential Suite" and when we got to the room there were stains on the couch in the living room area, the floors in the bathroom and living area were not swept and the floors in the living room were sticky and dirty. There was no dresser in the bedroom. I went to the front desk to ask for a comforter or something to put over the couch and inquire about another comparable room she acted like I had bothered her. She never once said she was sorry for any of the problems that we were having with the room or how she could remedy the problem (like sending housekeeping to the room) but no instead she gave me a mop. The windows were so dirty that you could not see out. It is a pet hotel and there were no doggie bags at the dog area. We were scheduled for two days but left after one. I asked numerous times to speak with the manager and was told they were not on site but I asked for a phone call and it has been a week now and no phone call. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and I would go out of my way NOT to stay here. Worst experience ever We were scheduled for two days and left after the first night

It’s a nice Hotel. I stayed there for business. Friendly staff. The hotel is not big, has 4 floors. It is located in a nice area where most of fast food restaurants are.

The hotel looks very neat from the outside. It’s convenient to dining/shopping. Parking was ample. The lobby area was basic. Check-in went smoothly. Once on the floor it was apparent how badly it needed refurbishing. Hallway carpet was worn. The walls were scraped up. The room was very basic. It did have a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker however there were no cups. The room appeared to be clean but the towels and sheets were thin and worn. The sheets were really wrinkled and did not fit the bed well. Despite being clean, this just gives it the “ick” factor in my opinion. The water pressure in the shower was minimal. I did like that it had wall dispensers for soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner instead of those little sample sizes however, there were 2 bottles of lotion at the sink so you had to get soap from the shower to wash your hands. I also liked that the floor in the room was laminate (?) and not carpet. The A/C cooled well. I can’t personally rate the breakfast area as my husband just went down for coffee. He did say it was pretty basic with hot and cold options. I asked him to bring me a cup of hot water to make tea but he said there was only coffee options at the bar. Check-out was easy and the lady working was very pleasant. I wish I had gotten her name because she was one of the very few bright spots at this hotel. Overall, this place is more like a $99 special. Definitely not worth the inflated price for a football weekend! Its 30-45 min from LSU.

Breakfast

The hotel was clean-ish overall except the room floor was sticky and dirty. It was a "smoking free" hotel yet the employees were always smoking right in front of the entrance. Breakfast was edible except for the eggs. Will not be staying at this hotel again.

Of course they are in the middle of renovations but, the floors have a slimy film on them, the smell when you first walk in was like they poured a whole bunch of chemicals to hide a vomit smell, the chair in the room we stayed in had stains all Over it, there were little roaches in our room, great area, and there wasn't much of a breakfast.

Good: The employees were friendly and helpful. Not so good: 1. The floors throughout the building, including in my room, were not clean. The hallways were dirty while my room floor was slick with something. 2. The breakfast was mediocre. The coffee was fine, but my croissant was stale, the sausage was neither crispy nor warm, and there was no fruit. 3. The interior is in need of a refresh. The walls and doors are scraped up and the thermostat on the wall didn't work and had holes in it (though the A/C unit had a working thermostat).

The upgrade to Dove products in the bathroom was great! Hot breakfast items as well as continental style was nice for those that cannot eat gluten! The convenient location made the stay so easy.
