I honestly can't recommend this place. It's not only old and outdated, but it's obvious that management is trying to squeeze every nickel out of this place while charging a premium price ($340 USD for two nights). The room I had (#42) looked like it hadn't been remodeled or at spruced up since the 1970's. The bathroom/shower was disgusting. To make matters worse, for this price there was not a coffee maker. Not even a box of kleenex! The cleaning staff was loud and you would have thought they were watching a novela right outside our door. One of the few times I would recommend an Airbnb instead. Not a lot of good hotel options in San Felipe in general. Sinceramente no puedo recomendar este lugar. No sólo es viejo y anticuado, sino que es obvio que la gerencia está tratando de exprimir cada centavo de este lugar mientras cobra un precio superior ($340 USD por dos noches). La habitación que tenía (#42) parecía que no había sido remodelada o arreglada desde los años 1970. El baño/ducha estaba asqueroso. Very nice and clean property. Pool is the best ive seen in San Felipe. There is a restaurant on the property and full bar. Higher end food and drinks. Hotel rooms have great water pressure and hot water. As well as a TV. I will stay again

Facility older but still good for area, did not service our room on second day, no heat but did provide a space heater that did not work! On the plus side it had Alfredo’s best Italian food this New Yorker had in Mexico the Osso Boco was amazing! Good quiet location

We loved Las Palmas! The pool area was lovely, our room had a fantastic mural of cactus on one wall, the grounds of the hotel were beautiful, and we could walk to the malecon from the hotel. I will definitely stay here again!

Excellent hotel, five of us stayed in one of the rooms with the four beds and it was very ideal. It is nice having security on site for the stuff in the back of my pick up truck. The hotel is a little dated, but the staff at the restaurant are amazing and the pool is a welcome treat.

I blame Hotels.com for false advertising. Paid $116 for a room worth about $35. Location was a loud bar and dogs barking all night. There was no refrigerator, no ocean, no bedroom in advertised 1 bedroom unit with mini-refrigerator. Hotels.com is no longer a good reliable booking source and told me to take it up with the manager of the hotel who didn’t even speak English.

First, it should be noted the hotel does not have beach access and a significant walk. The evening we stayed at the hotel, it was cold, in the low 40's. The room had a heater/ air conditioning unit but it only produced cold air. The front desk closes at 10pm so there was no one to speak to regarding the room being so cold. The linens on the bed were so thin they provided little to no help with the coldness in the room. The next morning when the front desk opened, we advised staff of the non functioning heater and how cold we were all evening. We were denied another room as per the staff, they had no other rooms to offer. The heater was never checked on my the staff or offered any other blankets. We requested a refund as my parents could not tolerate staying in such a cold room for another night. My mother actually awoke feeling sick from being cold all night. We were denied a refund as well and therefore lost our money as we stayed elsewhere our last night in town. To say my family was completely dissatisfied with our stay at this property would be a huge understatement.

My husband and I have stayed at the Las Palmas Hotel several times. We like the easy walk to the malecon and all the shops in San Felipe. And it is in a convenient location. It has a pool and restaurant (Italian restaurant) and there is a pizza place right next to it. The rooms are comfortable and clean. We plan to stay there again soon.

We had a good stay at the hotel but it was not great. The staff was super friendly and helpful, that's for sure. Yet, the area around the hotel was a bit dirty, you have quite a walk to the beach, and prices were kind of steep for all of this. I'm not so sure if I would go back.
