Great historic hotel right on the river bank. The room was nice with a good size bathroom. The bed was a bit soft for our taste, but otherwise comfortable. There is not really a lot of shelve space, so if you're not travelling light, you might struggle to unpack. Every room has a nice terras. The pool is clean, but unheated. Breakfast is at The Mermaid Cafe, 2 door down from the hotel, and it can get very busy there later in the morning. Come early if you want a guaranteed table. Coffee and tea are available 24/7 at the hotel reception. There are bikes available for use by guests, and this is really convenient to get around town. Parking at the hotel can be difficult in the evening, as they share parking with the restaurant, but the parking is free. This is a great hotel to explore the region, from Kennedy Space Center, to Orlando or Daytona Beach, but also to enjoy the local sights.

Hotel is in a convienient location, room met expectations. A little difficult getting into the location and self parking was difficult due to spring break, but the valet was able to assist. Hotel was near the bridge, so could occasionally hear traffic and bridge openings, but didn't affect sleep. Very quaint hotel and staff was great.

The hotel was so cute and the service was so nice!! I only took off one star because there was a musky smell in the room that was a bit unpleasant. Sort of like wet carpet or old AC smell. Besides that, the place was very clean, everything was in working condition and it was situated on a nice street. I traveled alone and felt very safe.

We loved this hotel, its a walkable area, we stay every year a couple times, and the staff are so nice. This time the hotel seemed a bit "tired" and needing attention - the platform bed loudly creaked, gardens full of weeds, tired overgrown pool deck landscaping, room chair badly stained, setee broken, hallway carpets dirty. The breakfast was terrific provided by the Mermaid cafe next door.

I must say the staff were excellent, welcoming and willing to help. My room however was horrible. The shower leaked from the ceiling where there was no shower head, the toilet ran all night, and my room has roaches. It’s obvious the hotel is an older building and outdated building and it could be a bit tidier. The voucher they provided was great. I will say the hotel is located in a great area and has a beautiful views and complimentary bikes to ride.

When pulling up to the hotel, you could tell from the outside that some rooms faced the river and some faced the parking lot. Check-in was flawless; we were assigned a room on the second floor, facing the river. However, when we got inside of the room, we discovered that they had built a restaurant in the space between the hotel and the river, which resulted in all of the rooms on the first floor and all but one room on the second floor having a view of a brick wall, which was the back of the restaurant! How disappointing. It may have been the "Riverview" when initially built, but now it is the "brick wall view." The walls are also paper-thin. Another male guest had a terrible \'smoker\'s cough\' in the middle of the night and went out on the balcony near the back steps to the hotel (and right outside of our room) and coughed and wheezed for about 5 minutes. This was no fault of the hotel\'s, but it was if he was in our room. I assume he checked out the next day, because the next night was much quieter. However, in the morning, we were woken up very early by the delivery trucks for the restaurant. The staff was extremely nice, and the hotel is \'quaint,\' but we would not stay here again.

Our stay was great. Brandon was very accommodating, offered to even take our bags up. We started in the biggest room on the third floor, with a private balcony overlooking the intercostal. It was absolutely beautiful. The hotel is gorgeous, clean and has 24/7 coffee and cookies!! Was disappointed that we didn’t have the option the rode the bikes. Was one of the main reasons for choosing the hotel. We walked to dinner and breakfast, which was included in our stay. The bed was very uncomfortable but the room was perfect!

The stay was great! We stayed three nights for rockville and it was much better than where we went last year. The breakfast at the cute cafe next door was delicious ( belgian waffles every morning😊 ) and the people were very friendly, huge shoutout to the lady there overnight! She was so kind and helpful and had the perfect energy! The only thing holding back on 5 stars is the fact that there wasn't a fridge in the room, especially given how much it cost to stay there. Might come back next year but the fridge thing might make us go somewhere else :(.

We were in room 319. Third floor with no elevator. Lugging bags up and down the stairs with no staff help. If you wanted a cup of coffee or go to the pool, you're doing the stairs again. I guess it makes up for no gym LOL. Room 319 is so tight there's nowhere to even put a suite case let alone 2 of them. Maybe 18 inches between the bed and the walls. We moved rooms into 318 which was much better with a nice Balconi. Good things where the pool was not overcrowded, and temp was great. The location is great. This is a 3-star hotel, our second room was fine but and liked the pool, but that is all there is. They do give you breakfast coupons for the Mermaid restaurant next door which was really good. So, al in al if your OK with taking care of yourself and don't want to be in a really busy hotel it's not bad. Met many guest that stay there more than once over a name brand hotel.

This is a nice little hotel right on the river, adjacent to a causeway bridge. The intersection outside the hotel is very busy, but I thought the hotel pretty quiet and clean. The people at check in were very nice. However the lady with the glasses the next morning was extraordinarily curt when I asked her a simple question: might I have the second breakfast coupon. She could have just informed me it was not their policy (price is same for one or two people). The coupon was no big deal. Her condescension became one. If she's not the owner, the owner should take up with her the subject of being polite to customers.

The hotel, spa and restaurant on property were absolutely lovely, however the hotel is situated right across the parking lot from a really big bridge and pedestrian walkway. This was the area of concern. Both night we stayed, locals were outside fishing off the river by the bridge and they were LOUD and inappropriate. They were smoking and drinking and never stopped talking to each other. We couldn't hear them when we went inside to sleep, but we definitely didn't have any privacy on our patio. Everything else was perfect! We'd definitely go back, we'd just ask for a room facing another direction.

Wonderful staff and very cute rooms, but the air conditioning can’t keep up with the summer heat. It was very hot and very loud. There are gaps between the doors and frames that allow you to see the hall and hear everything happening in the lobby and other rooms. There was not enough parking reserved for guests and it was a fight to get a spot every time we returned. The breakfast was very good but we had to wait a full hour for it at a restaurant down the street that was very crowded. Very cute property, but not comfortable.
