Several reviews cite heater problems and limited climate control, with no air conditioning leading to warm rooms in hotter weather. Rooms are older and rustic, with some small TVs; sizes range from compact to spacious. Housekeeping is generally solid, though a few comments mention exterior upkeep or pests like moths. This two-story motel was built in the 1950's. It has a retro feel with some updates. A little noise from next door brewery. No elevator. I needed one queen bed and got 3 beds a kitchen. The walkways and steps were dimly lit at night. In the parking area, there were spots where ice could be observed. Unfortunately, the old wall heater did not keep my room warm. I was offered a space heater. Ultimately, I wore two jackets in bed. The outside air temperature at daybreak was 28 degrees.

Mountain cabin charm (moths and all), very well kept grounds, convenient parking, lots of thoughtful interior comforts like extra pillows and towels, quiet and near local amenities. The room however had a horrific moth problem. Every night we’d be swarmed with moths from who knows where (disappeared in the day). Unable to open windows in fear of more moths and mosquitos left to hot sweaty nights with no AC.

Nice kitchen, shower. Toliet needs fixing. Clean, but bed spreads needed washing. Very friendly owner. Too expensive for the value, off season 95.00 way too much. She was very nice let us in early. Old and rustic, no air conditioning, but had a ceiling fan was cool. Beds were ok, three if you had more people.

I stayed one night for a quick ski jaunt at June Mountain. Location was ideal (next door to general store and easy stroll to dining options), room clean and quiet, and I especially liked the fact that the property supplied a real coffee maker, cups and utensils, as opposed to the weird pod things so many places are using these days.

Everything was just as it should be, fortunately, because I never actually saw or talked to anyone in the office. It was always closed, but my room key was ready and waiting when I arrived, clipped to the doorway, and I was able to leave the key in the little wooden box when I left. The room was clean and well appointed. Very cool kitchenette for people who want to cook and eat in. We didn't, but that's OK.
