Clean and updated looking property. 20 min drive to Government Camp . Outdoor Heated pool was 82 degrees and too cold when temp is in 30’s but the Hot tub was 104 and lovely. Breakfast buffet in the nice restaurant was a bonus with eggs , potatoes, pancakes , cereal and fruit

The facility reminded me of a state park. It was a perfect setting for being in the mountains. We really enjoyed the pool and spa. All areas of the grounds were clean. The front desk workers were very helpful.

The bathroom was gross and dirty, had someone’s contact lense on the floor, hair on the shower wall, and the soap from the previous customers still in the shower. The chair in the room was destroyed. The rooms are very dark, can only assumes it’s so you can’t see how filthy it is. Paid good money for a “resort” room that was dated and dirty.

the grounds were very nice and scenic, it was also nice that it was pet friendly. The room.....had lots of cobwebs on and all around the sliding door, The sliding door SHOULD have opened to a nice patio, but the door didnt work. I would have REALLY liked to have this patio area to sit outside. This could be an excellent place to stay...if they just put some effort and money into updates and fixing the doors.

The staff were great, five stars for them. There was also live music at one of the restaurants. The pet rooms are carpeted and smell like urine. It’s discouraging to pay a pet fee anticipating that fees are for extra cleaning, and then immediately experiencing foul odors. There was no screen on the patio door, making it hard to let fresh air in without letting in bugs. The property is old and in various stages of disrepair. It appears there are some improvements being made based on the construction materials staged on some of the patios.

The rooms are extremely outdated. Nothing worked or didn't work right. The tv was ancient and took two remotes. The sliding glass door was rusted shut and took my whole body weight to open. The heater was the loudest I've ever heard. The bed was super uncomfortable and made my hips hurt. I did not get a good night's sleep here. The customer service was not great. In other hotels i get a map of the grounds and explained what services are offered and where they are located. The gal at the front desk didn't even tell me where my room was. I wouldn't have known what was at the facility had i not looked on the website.

Mt. Hood Oregon Resort is a motel with some good and some bad features. The rooms are well-appointed, large, and have comfortable beds. Construction quality is somewhat cheap, with thin walls, unusually noisy cooling/heating units, and a bathtub (on the first floor) that backed up with sewage when the area received heavy rainfall. We informed the front desk, who assured us that the bathtub would receive a thorough cleaning, but the tub was not cleaned during our stay, quite surprising for what is potentially a serious heath issue. The location is okay for skiers, about 15 minutes away from Ski Bowl, 25 minutes from Timberline, and 45 minutes from Mt. Hood Meadows.

Very noisy AC, can't sleep with it on. Opened windows instead but we overlooked the pool and people were in there late (timings not enforced?). Otherwise, room quite large, comfy bed. Pretty soulless resort but not much around this area and handy for Mount Hood. Nice golf course.

The setting is beautiful and the resort seems like it was once pretty nice. They “upgraded” us to a suite, but the room was very tired. Beyond being generally dated, the furniture in our room was disintegrating, and we had to pick up pleather pieces constantly so our baby would stop trying to eat them. Our first room had a broken air conditioner so they moved us. The second room also had a broken air conditioner in the bedroom. The pool was nice but freezing. And although we had a patio outside our room, there was a yellow jacket nest in it and my other child was stung. The staff were friendly and helpful and the mountain setting was great. Seems like an owner/management issue. In the end, it was probably not worth the price we paid.

Great location. Super friendly staff. Rooms have thin walls - we could hear almost every word our neighbors spoke especially the screaming kid. Having an on-site EV charger (only one) was awesome but one of the cars acted like it was their personal parking space and stayed charging for 2 days.

The hotel is surrounded by forest and is in a beautiful part of the world. The hot tub and pool were wonderful on a snowy night. There is a bus stop near by that goes up the mountain to Timberline and other ski areas for $2 each way (bring cash).

The setting was beautiful. Nice pool, golf course and loved the sitting area outside our room. Nice restaurants and so close to the resorts and activities further up the mountain. Our room was very comfortable. We loved it! Had a great time and we will be back.

Property was quiet and pretty surrounding, room was comfortable. Check in was slow, system was down but staff was very apologetic and tried to speed things up as much as possible. Restaurant in the hotel was closed so we went to the gold course, room was fine but they were understaffed and it was a very long wait for our food.

Beautiful place, comfortable room. Staff professional and friendly. Breakfast was a joke! An embarrassment for a hotel like this. The menu was short and then the waitress gave us a list of things NOT available including what my wife chose. We should have stood up and walked out, but we needed breakfast and were in a hurry. Then it took forever to get the food in spite of asking for extremely basic. $20 for a 2 eggs and a piece of toast with frozen hash browns? Are you kidding me? We loved the place but the dining experience was worse than a cheap highway continental breakfast. Wake up and fix this!

Hotel was good but No breakfast was a bad experience. They just gave a credit of $8 for breakfast that is like peanuts for the amt you pay for stay. They should have free breakfast like other hotels. It was not mentioned before otherwise i would have not stayed here

The pictures online looked great, but unfortunately, the actual quality of our room was very disappointing. The biggest issue was the cleanliness. The shower had black mold along the grout lines, and there were even small dead ants on the shampoo bottles when we arrived. Beyond that, the furniture throughout the room was extremely dated, heavily scuffed, and generally looked like it was long overdue for an update. I understand this is a 3-star resort, not the Ritz-Carlton, and there aren’t a ton of lodging options in the area. We certainly weren’t expecting luxury. But regardless of the star rating, a room should be clean and well maintained, especially given how much nicer the property appears in the photos online. The location is convenient and the surrounding area is beautiful, but unfortunately, this was not an experience we enjoyed and we would not stay here again without some significant updates to the rooms and housekeeping.

Decent room, the toilet handle would stick and the toilet would run if I didn't remember to push it up after flushing. The hotel was pretty empty and they put a person above my room on the second night of my stay and I could hear them walking around. Breakfast was included and was better than a lot of other hotel breakfasts, the grounds are beautiful and its far off a main highway so its very quiet.

The grounds and the staff were amazing. Our room was not. The heater was so loud that we couldn't use it and sleep at the same time. The TV remote was held together with Scotch tape. My father in law sat in the office chair and almost fell to the floor. It was missing screws. There were blood stains on one set of the sheets.
