Comfort Suites Broomfield-Boulder-Interlocken

Clean, comfortable, modern room. Good location. Great breakfast except for the coffee (but there is a Starbucks directly across the parking lot). Would stay again.

Blood and urine on the walls in the stair well, ac sounded like a motorcycle engine, front desk called our room at 10:45pm and then hung up. Waited 5 minutes at front desk when we first got there.

We needed a quick stay 4-5 hr nap to continue the drive. Place was clean & convenient off the hwy & price was good.

After getting into my room and unpacking, I noticed a serious issue in the bathroom. They were about six or seven tiles that were broken and grout was missing in many areas between the tiles. The edges of the broken tiles in some areas were actually not at the same level, with one edge sticking up. Some of the edges were very sharp and could easily cut a barefoot if it caught it at a certain way. I contacted the front desk and they told me to come down and pick up the new key. For the second room, I noticed that the bathroom had the same issue with many floor tiles being cracked with sharp edges, however, these were much worse...with missing grout and visible fungus inside the grooves. Another issue was two very large stains in the center of the Chaise (couch). It appeared as though no one had attempted to clean it and kept me from being able to relax in the couch area. It had been a very long day so I thought I would just address the issue in the morning so I did not make contact with the front desk that night. I checked out 5 days early from my 7-night prepaid stay. The front desk attendant offered me a third room, but I declined based on the conditions of the other 2 rooms. I could not receive a refund from Comfort Suites and only received my refund after 18 days from contacting corporate officers directly...later contacted by the regional manager for the refund approval. Would NOT recommend this property.

There was no fruit for breakfast. Everything else was pretty good.
