What guests think

Hampton Inn Beloit draws praise for very clean, comfortable, quiet rooms and consistently friendly, welcoming staff, with many noting good value and a convenient location near restaurants and the interstate, plus small touches that make travel easier.

Multiple reviews also mention a high pet fee not shown clearly before booking, occasional noise from youth teams or other guests, sporadic Wi‑Fi troubles, and periodic facility issues such as pool or hot tub closures and a warm, under‑equipped fitness room. Breakfast feedback skews positive for variety and quality, though a number of guests reported understocked items or lackluster taste on some mornings. While service is often praised as attentive, a few guests reported rude encounters or slow responses to disturbances. Overall, it suits travelers seeking dependable comfort and ease, while those sensitive to noise, pet fees, or amenity availability may want to confirm details ahead.

The pool was out of commission for repairs, but we were able to use the pool at the sister property right on the same lot. At 11 o'clock at night, we were woken up by kids running in the hallway, screaming. And when we reported it to the front desk, they stated that it was a hockey tournament that they had a contract with and with their apologies, there was nothing they could do. We stated that was unacceptable , and they had no problem refunding our stay in full. I would reserve rooms with them again because they did the best they could in that situation.

The woman at check in was so friendly. She was professional and pleasant. Big smile on her face. She told us about breakfast and offered us water. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was really good. Love the massage features in shower. The issue was our room smelled like smoke. STRONGLY like smoke. We got home and can still smell it on our luggage and clothing despite it being a non smoking room

This is our go-to home away from home when visiting family in the Beloit Area! The staff are always great, breakfast is great, and it's clean. That said, the property is starting to show its age in a few places and some "refreshing" seems to be hastily done like I can see brush strokes in the paint on door frames.

Staff.. not all but definitely 1. I’m not sure if she was a manager or what, but she was incredibly rude. Yelled at several people right in front of me. Middle aged black women with shoulder length hair. The rest of the staff was super kind.. hopefully this women just woke up on the wrong side of the bed and doesn’t talk to all the guests like that.

The hotel was ok. Nothing too special for the price of the rooms.. seemed a little outdated. Service was horrible!! We were told we couldn’t extend our stay for another night, not bc they didn’t have rooms but bc we were only doing one more night.. even if we just stayed two nights.. they told us we would have to stay another two night in order to extend.. no manager on site and the lady who took care of us was absolutely rude!!

It was absolutely NOT safe. The hotel was super clean, the room looked great, the pool was clean, we really appreciated the breakfast. We had traveled back for a funeral and those small things were great. However, the second night there - people were screaming and shouting obscenities in the hall. It was a full on domestic situation. I called the front desk twice. I was told “ya…people don’t know how to behave anymore”. I should have just called the police - but I was hopeful the hotel would handle their own guests. They did not. My children got to listen to those people screaming F*** while banging on doors. It was 10pm. Nobody was made to leave. You can act like that AND get to stay in the hotel you just disrupted.
