Spectacular view from balcony, best location, right in the center of Monastiraki, this area is very noisy at night no matter where you stay, so bring earplugs. Refrigerator in every room. If you want hot water, you can get it from the tap or lobby where there is a hot water kettle and they will lend you a mug. They also have filtered drinking water downstairs in the lobby. One of the best things about this place is that you can store your belongings in a locker for up to seven days for only two euro. I took several side trips and came back here to stay each time. I only stayed in private rooms so I cannot account for the dorms. The bathrooms are very small and in one of them the toilet was practically in the shower. The towels are a little subpar and there is only a wand for shower, but it worked OK for me. One of the rooms was a good size and the other two were quite small. I traveled here solo as a female and felt very safe. It’s very close to the metro and all of the sites, street markets, stores and restaurants.

The staff was so welcoming. They helped us out with transportation, and things to do. The rooftop is amazing and it is in a great location. Great view of the Acropolis. Loved that there was a water cooler to fill out bottles. Definitely recommend.

Loved that our room had a fridge in it so we could shops for our picnics. Daily cleaning was offered. Was lovely coming back after a long day to freshly made beds. Great that you could hire lockers €2 per use. Staff were friendly and professional. The roof top bar was fab (the cafe bit itself wasnt open) but there was plenty of seating, great place to see ALL the historical sites from one place. Would definitely recommend it. We stayed 8 nights. Advice if you book a twin room with balcony and are at the front of the property you may want to bring ear plugs...I personally loved listening to the late night singers....added to being inmersed in the atmosphere of the area. This is outside of the hotels control and therefore I would not hold this against them in any way and it wasn't a problem for us. Just enjoyed the music! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We travel in group of 6, booked 3 rooms for 3 night . The location and the rooftop view are fantastic. May encounter some noises with people partying nearby into wee hour . Has a small elevator that can accommodate up to 2 persons. Value for Money. The stay exceed our expectation.

Auberge sale,vétuste,en piteux état et mal fréquenté.L'enseigne lumineuse extérieure est toujours éteinte et le bâtiment est dans un état précaire.Le personnel est désagréable.On nous a attribué une chambre sale et malodorante au premier étage,j'ai dû insister par que nous la change.L'ascenseur est minuscule et peu fiable.La deuxième chambre était un peu mieux mais petite et délabrée, le mobilier est abîmé et la serrure de la porte de la salle de bain est cassée.Les serviettes fournies à la réception ne sont pas adaptées à la douche.Le bar-terrasse est toujours fermé, malgré une vue imprenable sur l'Acropole.Ils ont des casiers gratuits pour les bagages mais cela n'est pas indiqué à l'arrivée,sinon, il faut payer 2€ chaque fois qu'on le ouvre.Il n'y a pas de distributeurs de café ni d'eau.La position est central pour visiter toute la ville,à proximité du métro et de la place principale,d'où l'on a une vue magnifique sur l'Acropole.En bref,je déconseille fortement cette auberge.Dans le quartier il y a des meilleurs auberges ou hôtels,mieux entretenus et à des prix abordables.C'est une auberge de passage, qui ne vaut la peine d'y passer qu'une nuit.C'est dommage car la ville est magnifique,regorgeant de vestiges historiques facilement accessibles à pied.C'est une ville très animée,avec une multitude d'activités et de nombreux restaurants proposant une excellente cuisine,des plats traditionnels de qualité,à des prix très abordables

The location of this hostel is it’s top point for me - right in the middle of the action of athens and ideal if you’re here to see about the city and it’s history, it’s near to an excellent gyros place called Sabbas (Savvas) that I will probably miss. There are some things missing that a typical hostel might have just because it’s a hotel conversion, more plugs so there is one per bed at least, a kitchen, a communal area (other than the rooftop), lockers inside the rooms etc but nothing that made me not enjoy my time. Chris at the bar is a nice guy, reception staff are happy to answer questions and are friendly, and the air conditioning is really good! Cleaning daily but this is an older property so have reasonable expectations of conditions and you’ll be fine.

Ich hatte ein 6er Zimmer mit nur Frauen, tolle Menschen kennengelernt! Die Lage hätte nicht besser sein können, super Anbindung zur Metro, nur 3 Minuten.

優點：住宿點超好，搭車方便，離景點近，主要景點步行就可到，附近有開很晚的平價餐館晚歸很方便打理飲食，樓頂天天可以看衛城早上晚上雨天晴天看到飽。缺點：房間近馬路太吵，洗澡沒蓮蓬頭，浴室門是半透明的，房間沒垃圾桶廁所垃圾桶滿了沒人清。

Good location. I hate to mention this but first night I could not sleep. There were bedbugs on the bed. Bite all over my hands and back. I had to check out after that night.

Clean room with old furniture. The staff is beyond compare. Outstanding service by Marcos, Lucas, the housekeepers and the night auditor lady. Very friendly, sociable, helpful and professional. The location is great. Close to everything: food, shopping, metro and train station. The view from the room overlooking the Acropolis is outstanding. I can store my luggage for 2 weeks for just 4 euros. Will definitely recommand. Loved the staff. Thank you Lucas and Marcos See u soon.

Very poorly maintained. Shower and bathroom basically a closet, very humid despite limited AC. Bed sheets were terrible and thin. Tons of street trash immediately outside front door.

Good customer service. Helpful. Just the around the area and the face of the hotel looked dirty. But room was clean. I think a small bug was climbing my bag and when I put it on the bed I saw it. I hope that was it.

I loved this area - two of us stayed for a night in a private room, waiting for some friends coming from Rome. I was pleasantly surprised at the view, where we were able to see the Acropolis. The area is also very walkable - as someone from New York, it was very comparable to walking around the Lower East Side. I loved it! Highly recommend. The only thing is the private rooms are a bit small, so I suggest getting a group of 6+ and filling in one of the larger rooms.

There was a mini fridge in the room, the bathroom was spacious, bed was comfy and they had 24hr reception, which was nice because we arrived very late at night. The reception was helpful and also made you feel safe in that area, it wasn’t an unsafe area from what I could see but there was a couple of people walking around that was questionable. Reception checks in with everyone that walked in the door every time someone opens the front door. Overall great stay for great value and would absolutely stay again.

Let's start with the positives - it is in a central location and close to metro and train lines. For a sight-seeing trip, this is an affordable and great option. However, the beds might not be as nice depending on which room and bunk you are in, and the worst thing is the slow internet - I tested it and it was about 0.4mbsp, whereas normal speeds are generally at least 5x that.

Nice location and we could see the Acropolis from our room balcony. Rooftop also is a perfect place to watch at night.

The inn is very conveniently located. The staff are always smiling and helpful. The only drawback I had was the street traffic noise that seamlessly filtered into the room, which made it for someone like me very hard to sleep.

Very slow internet

Basic room right in the centre, had a lovely roof terrace. Bathroom is in the room, shower, sink and toilet. AC was in one corner above one of the beds so was too cold for that person and was switched off. No plug sockets or lamps by the beds and one wardrobe and small draw to share with 6 people.

The staff was beyond friendly and very helpful. Markos is very personable and made us feel right at home. The property was well worth the money!

Close to everything, 5-15 minutes from agora, parks, acropolis, etc. Met super nice girls in the room and the view was spectacular. Cheap dining and breakfast less than two blocks away and the guy at the reception gave us a great recommendation for a bakery to try! Within two blocks of the square that hosts a market, a flea market, the city centre Main Street and the metro station that leads to the airport. Couldnt be asked for a better stay for that value. Our room (women’s) had its own bathroom with was very comfortable to use.

昼間は普通にメッセージのやり取りをしていた。 到着時間も夜になる事を事前に伝えてあり、レイトチェックインも了承との事だった。 夜9時過ぎに到着すると、実際には部屋はなく別のホテルに行くよう言われた。 その際に謝罪もなくタクシーの手配もせず地下鉄で移動するよういわれた。 このホテルを選んだのは、空港とのアクセスの良さと、バルコニーからアクロポリスが見えるという事である。 紹介されたホテルは、電車での移動は、空港まで乗り継ぎがあり、土地勘がない私は苦労した。治安の悪さで有名な場所にあり、窓からの風景は廃墟となったビルだった。

Clients cannot be educated unless there are some house rules. For example, not to slam the door, turn off light at 11pm, etc... Some curtains around each bed would be helpful for some privacy. Besides that, Marcos, Lucas, Maria and the housekeepers are wonderful. Panos has disappointed me though. I would go back just for 1 night stay.

The staff was very nice

While I agree with the reviews that talked about it being noisy, I was in a balcony room which faced the main street (which was very noisy, especially at night). The view was the same as what can be seen from the rooftop bar, so when I book again, I would choose a non-balcony room to cut down on noise level. Room was clean and comfortable. Aircon didn't seem to work, but it wasn't terribly hot, so I didn't bother to say anything. Location is FANTASTIC! 5 minutes walk to Monistiraki Square, a couple minutes to the Ahora. Great restaurants all around. A couple of reviews mentioned it being a bad area. Athens is just a dirty, graffiti filled city, and this is no different. I never felt unsafe, and I'm a single woman who was traveling alone. I will definitely book here again next time in Athens. Very affordable.

The most helpful staff was a standout feature. Being just a one block walk to the agora didn’t hurt either. And of course a view of the lighted Parthenon from our little deck was spectacular! The downside of Pella included the large community rubbish containers in front of the entrance, which were noisily emptied each morning, and the nightlife in the area, which my earplugs never quite stilled. But I would stay there again in a heartbeat. It was a real bargain.

We liked the convenience of how close the property is to one of the tram stations, so getting to it from the Piraeus port and also going from it to the airport was super easy. We liked it was close by to all the local shopping and restaurants. Attractions of Athens were also all very walkable. Staff was also very friendly and helpful! Room was small and bathroom also very small but clean. If you need a place to just sleep, then it's good :)

I THINK IF IT HAD AN AREA, FOR SELF CATERING IT WOULD BE VERY CONVINIENT!

They were great! Very friendly and always trying to help. They even help me for early check in. Its very central, close to everywhere and there are lots of restaurant around. Well, I can’t explain how great the view was from my balcony(also they have terrace for all the guests)… I deffinetly recommend this place.(small recommendation though; if they had a coffee machine at least at the reception we could buy coffee would be great. Would be nice to have a coffee in the morning at my balcony.)

The only thing that made staying here worth it was the roof top bar where you get a beautiful view of Athens and the Acropolis. Otherwise it’s very simplistic and basic.
