Stayed 4 nights

Check in took a long time. The key machine was not working. At first the toilet was not working but my husband fixed it. The room and carpets could use a really good cleaning. We stayed 4 nights and never had our room cleaned. We emptied our own garbage daily and had to track down clean towels each day. The breakfast had artificial eggs and bacon. No rolls or muffins. I never saw anything refilled when items were empty. We will not stay there again when traveling to Woodland. Not worth the money we paid.

Stayed 3 nights

Unfortunately, my stay was very disappointing. The biggest issue was cleanliness. I saw cockroaches on the bathroom floor, and the white bed sheet was visibly dirty with what looked like shoe or foot marks on it. It did not appear that the sheet had been properly changed. The blanket and bath towels were also not clean, and I even found someone else's hair on the towels. The carpet in the room was dirty as well. The room itself had several other problems. It took about five minutes of running the shower before I could get hot water. The trash can was so small that it became full after putting only a small amount of trash in it. The building also felt quite old and poorly maintained. The back entrance near my room did not work with my room key—the card reader remained red and would not recognize my key card. There are also very few amenities. There was no fitness room, hot tub, or swimming pool. I do want to give credit where it is due. The hotel staff were nice and seemed hardworking. I regularly saw the service and maintenance staff working in the mornings, and the breakfast was decent, with hot food available for guests. Because of that, I don't think the staff's attitude was the problem. However, I simply cannot understand why the room was allowed to be in such an unsanitary condition. Finding cockroaches, dirty bedding, hair on the towels, and dirty carpet is unacceptable for a hotel room.

Understaffed and disappointing. Breakfast was edible but barely. Electronic room keys kept failing and had to be reset at least 3 times for a 4 night stay. Room was not serviced consistently when requested. No crib available for infant traveling with us.

Stayed 1 night

When I arrived to check in, there was no one at the reception desk. There was instead a note to ring a hand bell. I rang this bell two or three times. No one came. The note also indicated a phone number to call. I called this number two or three times. It rang at the desk and no one answered or came to the desk. I waited for nearly 40 minutes for someone to come to the desk so I could check in. When someone finally came, I could smell the strong smell of marijuana. They checked me in and gave me a room key and apologized for the wait. I went to my room, used the key, and opened the door only to find that either the beds were not made and the room had not been cleaned. I went back down the stairs and told the receptionist who checked me into another room. I then went back up the stairs, observing a few people who appeared to be long term residents, which surprised me. The entire hotel smelled of marijuana smoke. I entered my room, which was reasonably clean. However, the TV would not function correctly. After I fell asleep, I was awakened in the middle of the night by people in the hallway outside my room either fighting or partying, slamming doors and walls so hard the room shook. When that finally died down, I started to fall asleep, then smelled cigarette smoking seeping in through the walls or the door. All in all, I was very disappointed and surprised at my experience in this hotel. I though that by staying in a Best Western, I would not be subjected to this kind stay.

The front desk was helpful, but they never gave us the WiFi password and then when we came down later in the evening, they were nowhere to be found
