The staff was wonderful and the rooms were nice. I stayed an additional night and had to live to another room, no issues with that. I’m a gym rat, so I was disappointed with the Nordictrack treadmill and stationary bike. It should not be called a fitness center. The only other equipment was a pull up bar and one weight that was holdin the door open. Other than this the stays was fine.

This place was in very good shape. My room seemed recently updated and was very nice. Have been in $300 rooms that were not nearly as nice. The breakfast wasn't much but was continental as advertised. waffle machine, packaged muffins and granola bar, sugar cereal. Could've skipped all that for a better cup of coffee. The workout room was small - as shown on the site, but the equipment was very tired. I just did the stairs a few times and took a long walk. Probably time to get rid of the stationary bike folks, I put the seat all the way up and still looked like I was on a kids trike. It was too wobbly to ride, this from a guy with a 20 year old Airdyne and a 1963 Schwinn 10-speed at home

Our visit was generally nice. The towels were very small, and the breakfast was rather limited. Also, the rear door to the building didn't lock, so there was a security issue with that door overnights.

The carpet felt like it was wet and had been shampooed and hadn't dried yet. I had my shoes off and when I walked near the desk in the room, I stepped in some brown stuff. I wasn't sure if it was dog poop or vomit or what it was. I brought it to the attention of a staff member. This happened in the morning before we were checking out. The staff member wanted to help me then she was called away by the owner. He wanted her attention immediately and just told us he would take care of it and really didn't apologize for whatever it was. I felt the owner could have been more responsive and should have apologized for whatever it was. When we got home, my husband found more of whatever it was on his socks.

We found our room clean at check in, however, it was missing shampoo and conditioners we had to request at the front deck. The front desk staff was responsive, friendly and timely. However, the sound insulation of the hotel is very poor. We only stayed for 2 nights. First night, we were woken up by someone yelling in the hall way around 3 am (lengthy argument with a boyfriend?); second night, we went to bed around 11pm but couldn't fall asleep due to hyper kids next door, talking loudly, jumping around, screaming, banging on the walls, which lasted over one hour, past midnight. Not sure if we were super unlucky or if these are the norms.

Only complaint I really have is that when we got in our room it was really really cold. We turned the heater on the highest temperature it would go and it took a good 4 hours for it to warm up to where we were comfortable. Other than that, check,in was super easy and everyone was super nice.

First off for the good, it was very clean and looked new. There was a quick check in/out. Now the not so good (no deal breakers just awareness)...shower head was really eco friendly. There was bare minimum water coming out of the shower head no matter what the shower head selection was set on. The continental breakfast was pretty poor except for the waffle maker. There was some small yogurts, apples, bread for toast/muffins in a package, and 2 sugary cerals. The coffee was the worst. It was an instant machine but the coffee tasted awful, and it was the same brand i drink at home. On a positive note, i was able to take a 3 minute walk and get some Tim Hortons coffee. All in all I'd stay there because cleanliness is the most important requirement for me.

This was our second stay at this property, and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the experience we had during our first visit. We stayed on New Year's Eve, and unfortunately, our neighbors were quite loud. Around 2:30 AM, I decided to go to the front desk to request a room change. The staff member there was not very friendly and declined to offer us a different room, citing that we had "prepaid for our room," which seemed irrelevant to the situation. While the property itself is still lovely, the customer service could definitely be more accommodating and welcoming.

This is my go to place when visiting the area. The rooms are reasonably priced, the hotel is spotless and the staff cares about you having a great, quiet stay. It is just outside the gate of Fort Drum, and a short drive to the beautiful Thousand Islands. This is a good option if you are visiting Watertown (a two minute drive to the south) or the tourist spots like Alexandria Bay, Clayton, nearby winery, St. Lawrence River, and more.
