I liked that this hotel had secure keycard access at other doors which made it convenient to park closer to where our room was located. The rooms were clean and they offered a continental breakfast. Fairfield is also located near Dunkin, Walmart, and CVS which made it convenient for us to pick up necessities.

This is a very convenient location for us when we are in town. Clean, nice room. Nice staff. Only issue was that when we got in the room there was a big fan blowing. Didn’t realize what it was for until I took my shoes off. The carpet but the air conditioner was soaking wet. I want to say this happened one of the other times we stayed here too. They really need to get that fixed or there be a lot of mold and mildew. Other than that, everything else was great.

Everything in the room smelled damp. The floor felt damp. The bed and couch felt damp. It was very weird. Smelled almost moldy. But it couldn’t be moldy because I’m allergic to mold and my eyes didn’t swell nor did I get stuffy. But the smell was so soggy. It will eventually become moldy if they don’t rectify what’s causing this. Room 322 is the room.

Nice new facility!! For this price point, the sound transfer between the floors was way too high. There was a fairly steady thump and sound of feet and/or mechanical equipment.

Everything was great except for two items: 1) the bed was a platform with no boxspring. That in itself is fine, but the mattress slid once when I got in and I cracked my shin into the edge. 2) water pressure in the shower was abysmal. Good thing I have a buzz cut. Other than that the place was clean and modern and the staff was friendly. I’d stay again.

Very nice inside and out, as I would expect from a Marriott property. Had a number of issues with checkin and billing, and I would surmise these are related to booking through Expedia and not the hotel itself. First, Expedia charged $30 more for a night than had I booked directly through Marriott. Online checkin was useless, the staff had no idea I had checked in and couldn't find my reservation. There was a lot of trouble with my card for incidentals, and then they billed both cards for a stay that I pre-paid for. One of which has still only been partially refunded, a month later. The property is great, the checkin and billing have been a huge hassle.

The hotel was easy to find and close to other hotels that were half the price. The check in was easy. The room smelt of lysol, cigarettes and urine. The cigarette smell never dissipated. I woke up with a sore throat due to the air freshner I could not find to unplug and cigarette smell. When we were leaving it seems the air spray is used in every room as the maids had them on their carts. The lady in charge of running breakfast was very rude. She told people to get out of her way, slammed dishes, complained loudly about people eating the food to fast and threw garbage bags around angrily. I figured since this hotel was twice the price of the surrounding ones that it would be a clean and pleasant experience but I would not stay here again due to the odor and angry breakfast staff.
