The room was was clean but shower drain was clogged and backed up. The hallway between the front desk and the room smelled like raw sewage and pot smoke, carpet should have been replaced a long time ago. The key card swipe on the hallway entrance was broken, so anyone could enter the building without being seen by front desk. Just make sure room deadbolt is always locked. Staff was very friendly and helpful, but property condition overall is run down.

We stay at Motel 6 fairly often because we travel with our dog. This is one of the nicest Motel 6’s. It is set up more like a Hotel with corridors and the furniture was fairly new with modern touches like outlets at the bedside tables with USB ports.

I don’t know if I’ve ever stayed at a worse establishment. From the beginning, it looked as if the hotel was closed because of construction. It was open….but I had to sidestep all of the Reno work. I was to happy when I actually got into my room, that said I was tired and just wanted to sleep. Before I did that, I wanted to make tea. I even had my own tea bags to steep. No coffee maker. Ok, I get that may seem like a stretch if I was staying in a cheap motel. At $79 I hoped there’d be more I.e. a working vending machine to get water or soda. Nope, took my money and……nothing. Even when I overlooked the massive construction project going on there were problems. Stained bedding, no comforter just a lightweight cover and flimsy blanket, broken(literally cracked) ac/heat cover, stains on the walls, dirty(really dirty) holder of the TP, USED soap still in the shower when I got in, speaking of shower it didn’t work. I travel often for work usually at Hyatt or Hilton properties and haven’t stayed at a Motel 6 in a very long time. All that said….basic standards. I took pictures of this s$!t show. The only redeeming feature was the guy who checked me in.

We had a room on the third floor that faced the parking lot and the interstate, but it was very quiet. We did not hear any road noise. This property is undergoing renovation. There was dust everywhere in our room plus the mattresses had urine stains all over them. That was a health hazard and very disgusting.

The remodel of this motel looks very nice. The rooms are spacious - ours having a king bed, couch, refrigerator, and microwave. Our first stay was on the second floor, there was no elevator (which was fine for us), and it was clean and quiet. My only minor complaint from that night was having cigarette-type burns on the bed topper and the bed being pretty hard. Our second stay we were on the main floor and the room looked the same. There were cigarette-type burns in the topper on that bed also. This room was not as clean, mainly the bathroom. There was hair everywhere in the bath/shower and what looked like public hair on the toilet. It was also not as quiet with the constant door slamming and banging going on outside the room. Would I stay here again? Maybe for the price, but probably not for longer than one night.

When I showed up, there was no hot water, but that eventually came online about an hour later. In the meantime, I couldn't connect to the Internet and head to phone. Their tech-support company, I had to use the phone at the main desk because the telephone in my room wouldn't work. The final straw was that there are two panels in the window that are missing and have been for quite some time so there is no way of closing that section of the window

It’s a motel 6, consistent rough thin towels The room was unusually large, and I had a refrigerator and microwave. And most important it was nice and quiet. There is plenty of parking. This is a nice convenient location for an overnight road stop.

Check in clerk was really nice and got me checked in right away was very helpful. The bed is my big problem why i have 2 star. That wasn’t a mattress it was a large bowl with bedding on it. To be petty the shower head is about 4ft high i found that funny. Looks nothing like the pics they have online those pics must be 20yrs ago. To be honest I’m not one to be really picky on a mattress. But i didn’t think it was possible for mattress to sag so much in the middle.

Surprised to find this very affordable choice perfectly acceptable for an overnight stopover on a long drive. All rooms open to interior hallways, parking was easy and the property was clean inside and out. They have clearly been putting some effort into modernizing and maintanance upkeep, however, it's still a cheap propery - again perfectly acceptable for the price. Room was clean, bed was ok, pillows were ok. The 6k lighting everywhere makes it seem more like a hospital than a motel, and furnishings throughout were spartan, but again, for the price, safe and acceptable.

I’ve stayed in better versions of Motel 6, and this one was decent. The good: front desk staff is very friendly and helpful; room was clean; beds and pillows were surprisingly very comfortable; had a mini fridge and microwave; surroundings are safe; dogs stay free. The not so good; the lobby and hallways are a bit rundown—they have a “dirty” feel, though they aren’t necessarily dirty; the motel backs up to a truck stop, so there is a bit of noise from that which will be apparent depending on the location of your room; the room a/c is loud, the fellow guests can be heard walking their floor above your room, and if other fellow guests aren’t minding their dogs, you’ll hear some occasional barking, so it’s best to wear earplugs when sleeping; the shower plumbing was leaky and not up to par, and the drain couldn’t handle the water flow, so water filled the tub to the ankles while showering within 2-3 minutes; and lastly there are only hinged wood shades on the windows—no blackout curtains. I would consider staying here again, but only in a pinch.

Very pleasant check in even though I arrived very late. Front desk was very helpful in referring me to towing options and made my stay very pleasant in spite of the fact that I was there because my car broke down on the highway! Since this place has been remodeled, I love it Anastasia is usually the one that has been helping me lately and she’s amazing. There’s no carpet which I love because in case a dog has a accident and normally they don’t but I know other dogs have an to remove those carpets was a blessing I have not had a bad experience. They have always been super helpful. I have not found issues where the room wasn’t clean. It was always clean. The linens were clean. Everything felt fresh. I have always enjoyed my stay there and I just love the fact that Motel 6 remains pet friendly because when you have pets and you’re traveling, the options are a few and the options that are outside of motel six that are out. There are super expensive so thank you guys for having such a great group there at Motel 6 in Lebec.

John was incredibly helpful, I was moving and had boxes in my car so he told me where to park to be within the security cameras and he kept an extra eye on my car. Felt so secure. He also helped people in with their bags and I've never seen a motel clerk do that before!

Traveling alone with my dogs over Fourth of July weekend. I was so thankful that the gentleman at the counter answered the phone after 10 PM. I had planned to hit Lebec about midnight and I was hoping that he had a room available. He assured me that he would save a downstairs room for me and my pets When I got there check-in was within five minutes and the room was huge. I will definitely stay again!

We always stay at this location when we are visiting the area. We love the staff! Cary,Sean and Kenny are always so welcoming and the rest of the staff are always very accommodating! We always choose the room with the kingsize bed. The rooms are always spacious and clean. Comfortable firm beds and AC/heater works well. This is NOT this Ritz-Carlton, but if you are looking for a secure place to sleep at or on a budget, this location is definitely the place. Location is ideal for those who want to spend the day up the mountain or do some off roading at Hungry Valley, which both are very close by!

Over all it was a great place. It is definitely different lay out then most Motel 6. Older building, but kept up and clean. Bigger rooms then most M6 too. Convenient by gas station with many options for food, etc.. pet friendly too. A lot of parking, it would be great for Truckers It is a little always from the highway, it still was convenient. Beautiful scenery too.

Clean, quiet, well maintained. Again clean. The breakfast area looked very organized and clean/sanitary. Coffee was very decent with some options for it like Splenda, cream and coffee mate. They offered Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwichs which was a highlight. I would and will recommend this to my friends and family.

The check in was easy and the room was very clean and simple but useful if you’re traveling. It had a microwave and fridge so if you bring food or beverages you can heat something up fast. The property is animal friendly and I was traveling with my cat. I thought my cat escaped and the front desk employee, I can say was so sweet and let me know if they see her she will call me. Luckily my clever cat found a nook to hide in behind the mattress and I made sure to tell the front desk that my cat was found we were both relieved. Otherwise this motel 6 is perfect for travelers needing a clean bed and clean place to sleep and shower for the night. Close to a flying J with Wendy’s if you need food and right by I5 and convenient gas stations. Would definitely stay again!

Staff was so kind and friendly. Check in was a little rough with my prepaid reservation. They're going under a remodel so the amenities were thin to none. No breakfast or even utensils. The lack of signage to the lobby made it difficult to find entrance. Holes in the bathroom door. Floor crackled. Shower was beyond difficult to turn on. Hopefully our room wasn't a recemt remodel. We were only there for 1 quick night so it was fine enough. At least there was nothing gross... wish we knew about the remodel when we reserved or even as we enter. Oh and very bad pot smell coming in from hallway.
