First impressions last, we arrived at 9pm know where to park We checked in night porter looked through a hatch wasn’t allowed in reception, when I asked where we to park, the reply was “ anywhere “ when I questioned all the signs saying how away area the response was yes it’s fine We parked in the area where the food van was As we tried to find our room it was noticeably run down area, lots of people sleeping in there cars, one car even looked like it hadn’t moved in months We found our room behind a security gate, we had actually walked past it twice The room was ok, floor very sticky looked like something had been split No bathroom door just a curtain, so not really any privacy Clean sheets and comfy bed , we only had one window in our room which we felt we couldn’t open the curtain as it was right by the security gate, so no natural light We paid £235. For 2 nights which on reflection we should have gone else where It was close to the beach, but a lot of homeless were sleeping on there so we didn’t stop to enjoy the beach Close to the tram No coffee making facilities in the room

Room looked clean, heater didn’t work, bathtub didn’t hold water… I was only staying 1 night and could live with that but waking up to bug bits that have lasted for five days is a deal breaker. I realize it could happen anywhere…

The worst hotel ever. I was scared to stay overnight because how frightening that area is. Room had the most horrible smell and It looked like it belonged in a horror movie- I ended up going to a different place.
