Base on the price, everything was good

The room is okay. Toilet seat loose not tight. Shower show mold. Dresser drawers broken. Curtain not pretty due some damage. Outlet plug wall damage. Bed spread several dirty and seem old .

I think this is the worst motel I’ve stayed at. Maybe I should’ve expected that for how cheap it was. It was loud with noise from the interstate, shower needs some work and had some black mold, no lamps, faint smoke smell in the room, and just a weird vibe that didn’t make me feel safe. For what it’s worth, I slept fine on the bed and the shower, toilet, and sink all worked fine. I would just be careful and lock your door if you stay here. Don’t expect much.

I had to pull the wad of hair out of the bathtub drain before i could use it. Yuk! Somebody's hair tie (with hair) was left hanging on the clothes hook behind the door. It was a bit concerning that the water started out a clear color and turned to what looked like a golden dirty color after a few minutes. Everytime i flushed the toilet, it looked like there was still pee in it. Not sure what that was all about but i never asked because i dont think i really wanted to know the answer... The sheets, towels, and pillows all seemed clean. The furniture was old and damaged. I felt the need to wipe it down before I set anything on top of it (like my keys or wallet). I didnt dare bother to open any of the drawers to look in them. Im not sure what the room smelled like, but after i aired it out for a few minutes and then febreezed the crap out of it, it was fine. It was quiet. The bed was comfortable. The TV, microwave, and fridge all worked fine. As far as rooms go, overall I have seen a lot worse, but definitely could have been better. Not a room to write home about, but it was last minute and cheap and therefore i didnt expect it to be great.

Why 5 stars for a low-budget motel? Well, that's precisely why. For not very much money, you get a clean place to sleep that includes amenities like a microwave, refrigerator, (reliable) Wi-Fi, and cable TV. It also happens to be located next to a Chevron gas station with a 24-hour convenience store. If you're lucky enough to get a ground-level room, there are parking spaces right outside your door. For a full-time vanlife traveler like myself, these features are all that I need.
