The building was old and run down compared to other Holiday Inn Express hotels I've stayed in. We got there and both the fitness room and the pool were closed ( both were reasons for choosing) the tub/shower enclosure was moldy. The walls were very thin or poorly insulated because I could hear everything from the rooms around me and hallways. Would definitely not stay at this particular hotel again.

Elevator was not working and had to use the stairs. Walking is fine but staff also have to take the stairs when cleaning a lot of rooms and it's not fair for them. A second elevator for staff can make breakdowns like this better for them.

Hotel was nothing like the pictures. The hotel is run down and needs repairs. I pulled out the fold out coach to make my daughter's bed and there was a bag of chips inside. I saw a picture of a hot tub so I was excited to soak in that while the kids were swimming. Unfortunately the hot tub was all boarded up and the indoor pool was the coldest we’ve been to yet. The pool looks absolutely nothing like the picture and it looks they are trying to paint around the pool but never finished? Carpet in the hallways are coming up and looks like a bad job.

Room was okay but there was no ice at all. Every ice machine on ever floor was broken you have to go to the front desk and even then they told me i had to walk to the closest gas station for ice. Very dissapointed

The property was dirty. You could tell at check-in at 4:00 the rugs were not vacuumed in hallways. Also the room was not vacuumed. I could clearly see dirt on floor. Tub was not clean.. Hotel was dingy and in need of update. Not what I would expect from a holiday inn! I would have asked for another room or forms another hotel but had to get to VB tournament snd front desk said they were completely booked.

This was nothing like the pictures. The first room smelled of cigarette smoke. The second room had roaches. Very disappointed. I am requesting a refund l, I did not stay there.

The room had bugs. The breakfast was ridiculous. They advertised sausage biscuits and gravy. They had the sausage pieces, which looked like pellets, but no gravy. For the bagels they only had strawberry cream cheese, but no regular cream cheese.

We arrived on a Monday afternoon—we immediately had to leave after check in. But when we returned to the room we noticed that there was hair in the tub, dirty towels in the bathroom, the room was not vacuumed, and there were spills on the tile portion of the floor. We spoke to the front desk and we were moved to another room where there was more hair and in the tub and the fridge was not working. Then moved to A third room with hair in the tub and on the toilet. Finally to a fourth room where we completed our stay for the week , but they had to fix our door lock. The following morning the manager did comp our first night due to the dirty rooms. The hotel itself is outdated and the carpets look “naturally” dirty. Overall the staff was helpful and kind. But I would not stay here again.

The location was convenient for my trip, and the area is fairly quiet. There are plenty of good restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. The staff was friendly and the room was cleaned daily. The breakfast was very good for a hotel. The only issues i had were definitely maintenance related. The toilet in my room did not function properly, i had to remove the lid to make the tank fill. The carpet was so worn that the tack strip kept poking my feet. (Nails that hold the carpet in place) There was no ice machine on the third floor. The fitness area was apparently closed for remodeling. I was not informed of this beforehand. All said and done, it was fine. But honestly, if i wanted a poorly maintained hotel i could have spent less. I expected more from a holiday inn.

There were unsupervised kids running up and down the hallway until way after midnight. One of them ran into our door and made such a loud bang that the security lock swung open. The room had an odor. Air conditioner didn’t work properly. The remote control didn’t work even after they gave us new batteries. The maid didn’t replace our towels so we were stuck with one towel. When we asked for towels on Saturday night around 11pm they said they were in the dryer and come back later. They also said there’s a lot of people staying here. It was late and we were tired. They should have brought them to us.

Pros: The staff were fantastic, the sheets were clean, the air conditioning worked, and the water was hot. Upon arrival the front desk girl tried to have us pay a second time, although we already paid through Hotels.com. I refused and showed her my bank account and receipt, so she had to call her manager. They put us through as having paid with cash just to get us our room and we had to deal with another receptionist the next morning. Our room had no toilet paper on the roll, had only two towels to use, the refrigerator did not work, and there was no hot water. When we went to the pool area, there were no towels available. The buffet breakfast had minimal to offer, as the guy in charge of the food was more busy outside smoking dope than keeping the food stocked. There was no coffee at all available and the pancake machine was out of service.

Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I booked through Expedia but when I arrived at the hotel they said they had no rooms left. The hotel never contacted me or Expedia to make me aware The hotel manager, Oscar, was incredibly rude and could not provide me with any sort of documentation conforming my reservation was canceled. I needed the documentation so I could get a refund from Expedia. 0/10 staff and 0/10 experience.

We checked in later in the evening due to traveling from far away, and that process was easy. No thrills, but easy enough. Our AC did not seem to be working in the room and the same guy who checked us in explained Maintenance is "on call" but was unavailable, so he came to try and help us out, which was great, but unfortunately, the AC never ended up working and we had to switch rooms the next morning. The ladies at the front desk and housekeeping helped make that a pretty seamless process, but just a bit of a hassle with packing up our stuff to move a few doors down. It was great they accommodated us though. Price was decent and location was good for what we needed it for.

So pleased to find another new hotel in York for the large numbers of people that come to the fairgrounds for events. Good complete breakfast with bacon and eggs and other choices. 24/7 coffee (hot choc). Wonderful QUIET ac/heat! Very comfortable bedding. The pool was not in service. Staff was very accommodating.

We stayed for two nights the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was delicious a great selection of food that actually tasted really good. We really enjoyed the area. We actually came to go to Hershey Park but all of the hotels closer to Hershey were so expensive. This hotel was a great price and so close to so many shops, dining and gas stations. Our beds were very comfortable. The rooms seem a little on the older side but overall a great stay and would stay here again.

We had a great stay with kind staff, even when we had key issues at 1am. The location was convenient and close to tons of food options. And their breakfast was delicious including premade omelets, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy and several quick pick items. We misunderstood the timeframe for breakfast and shut them down 2 mornings in a row without any negativity. We stayed here to go to Hershey Park and felt the drive was very do-able! We will be back!

Despite a small portion of the hotel undergoing construction to the fitness area/space, hotel mgmt and staff did a wonderful job ensuring common areas are safe, comfortable, and certainly inviting! The yummy breakfast completed our experience with fresh pancakes, omelet choices, fresh fruit and the likes! GO YORK!
