This was not the properties fault rather Expedia. I was booked in a handicap room. I was not alerted to this in advance so wasn’t able to change prior to arrival. The shower head was only able to be used at my waste. The hotel wasn’t able to move me, but was very nice and comped my parking.

I'm sure there are many other really nice places to stay in Provincetown, but I am not going to look for any of them. The Pilgrim House was fantastic in all respects: comfort, convenience, facilities, staff. Please just don't be the one reserving our room the next time my sweetheart and I plan to be there.

I have always loved the Pilgrim House as a place to stay. The rooms are clean and the pace is comfortable. It could use a facelift but certianly that would never deter my staying there. Very comfortable and accessible to everything in town. Drawbacks: When booking be aware the parking fee is $85 per night plus taxes which is higher than most cities and it is not listed anywhere on their site or on the booking site. Second: They also have a two night minumum.

Pilgrim House is a super convenient location in the heart of “downtown” Ptown! Since we took an earlier ferry, we were accommodated with an early check in which was great! Since there was a drainage issue with the tub, we were offered an upgrade to a larger and nicer room - also great! Have to give a shout out to Jameson who from the time he arrived made our stay so stay so much better. He immediately brought us more towels and an extra pillow, shared dinning recommendations and also served up refreshing cocktails! Staff also provided us with beach towels and chairs! We tried the onsite restaurant which was excellent and there are many live entertainment options onsite, as well. All in all, a fantastic stay!

It was just okay. Felt like they could do better. When we checked in and asked where are room was he said upstairs and rooms are on the right and left. We only had one suitcase Stand, No where to put clothes except a very small rack with 5 hangers, so one suitcase is on the floor. The outlets were unstable. The mini split was had black mold in them. Smelled musty and mildewy. Also received a text message late evening 2 days prior to my arrival letting me know we were going to be charged for parking $50 a day. Feel like that should have been in the description and notified prior to booking. Convent to downtown.

We definitely enjoyed our stay. The room was perfect, small but quaint. It overlooked the Pilgrim Monument which was a nice touch. It’s right on Commercial Street so close to lots of shops and restaurants. For the most part the staff was friendly and courteous. The Thai restaurant was absolutely delicious. As a rule of thumb, I like spicy dishes and you can order from 1-5. We were gonna order a 3 but the server stated it was very hot. So, we went with a #2 and it was more than spicy for us so take that into consideration. We did catch a show our first night and saw Latrice Royale. It was a great time and very convenient being right inside the hotel we were staying at. Our first night was great no issues. Our second night was not so great. The people in the room next to us were up well past 12am and noisy which made it difficult for us to get some rest. On the morning we were leaving there was no hot water and the hotel doesn’t have on site staff round the clock. There was also no emergency phone number provided in the event of an issue. I did call down to the front desk and left a message about the water issue but never heard back from anyone. This review would have been a 4-5 star had we not had the issues with noise and then no hot water. But over all a great spot to stay and eat and catch a show.

Most of the appeal of this hotel is the location. It’s in the heart of Provincetown activity. The nightlife noises will be audible, but do settle down after a time. The noise didn’t bother me, but it might some. We stayed in one of the state rooms, for reference. The hotel was tastefully done with plenty of thoughtful details. The bathroom floor, however, was sticky and it smelled slightly moldy around the sink - probably to be expected in a higher humidity area near the coast as it is. The sink was slow draining, but the shower was nice and hose attachment even better. It was pleasant enough for our short stay, but a mix of older and newer appliances with the expected pros and cons therein.

Overall, this was an enjoyable stay. However, there are a few things that could make Pilgrim House exceptional. We hope that there are some changes to celebrate the next time we visit. The concierge's desk was often absent, with staff working nearby, out of sight. The lines of communication and/or results between the concierge and the cleaning staff could improve. We arrived on a Monday afternoon and left Thursday morning. Our room was cleaned only once! There is only one person cleaning the rooms; this is certainly not her fault. We left a tip that reflected this one-time change of sheets, towels, and toiletries. Winston, the bellhop, was friendly, attentive and helpful. Meghan, the pleasant concierge, stepped in with much needed supplies when we were in need of them. The room's bathroom toilet tank is filling too slowly. Otherwise, this room and second floor's balcony were well appointed, air conditioned, comfortable and close to the hustle and bustle of Commercial Street. Thanks to Meghan for providing parking suggestions within our budget. Family Week was a wonderful time to see Provincetown. Thanks!

The only thing is you need to put the clean your room sign out if you want service. Other places you don't hang a sign unless you want privacy.

Excellent communication immediately after making reservation. After hours check-in easy. Located right on Commerce Street but set back and quiet (off season). Common areas and room nicely decorated. Room spotlessly clean but showing neglect with water stain under sink, mildew stains in shower. No espresso machine in lobby as advertised nor coffee maker in room. Off season no gas stations open in early morning hours; gas up evening before early departure. Parking severely limited in Provincetown; know options before arrival. Would recommend and stay again.

The gentleman behind the desk, José, was fantastic, professional, accommodating. The room itself was fairly barebones: no mini fridge, no coffee maker, no hot water kettle. Additionally, there was a lack of transparency around parking that could have been addressed numerous times via my inquiries by email and phone ahead of time, and more importantly, online. Parking in PTown is challenging for everyone, but when there's a lack of communication from the hotel, as was the case here, it erodes the respite factor of the stay. Communication needs to be improved, for there are other accommodations that go out of there way to ensure a connection prior to arrival.

The Pilgrim House is centrally located, making the stay convenient. We enjoyed the restaurants, art galleries and shopping. It was a bit pricey for just a room. The furniture was cheap but the bed and pillows were really comfortable. The staff did help us but it didn't have that cozy B&B feeling. It felt more like a dormitory.

It's all about the location. The room itself was underwhelming and since it was end of season the hotel seemed to be working with a skeleton crew (pun intended, but still an accurate assessment). But worth it if you simply need a place to lay your head after a night of partying.

Property is right smack dab in the middle of Ptown central, so everything is close by. Easy walk from ferry. There's an elevator (yay!) and good AC. The bed is comfortable. The only strange thing is there were no amenities like ice or a small fridge. No coffee maker either. Strange because there seemed to be a restaurant associated with the property that was never open. I stayed after Labor Day, which may be a factor. Wonderful staff except for the Thursday morning guy.

The Pilgrim House staff were very warm and friendly. Unfortunately the room was very warm and unfriendly. Our AC was not working . They gave us a big fan, but it just moved around the warm air. There was another room we could move into but the AC did not work in there either. I was disappointed because I think the place is so nice and the staff were so wonderful. Fix AC and it's paradise.

Jeremy at the Front Desk was so nice. He even called while I was driving to Ptown to let me know that they were looking forward to my arrival. Lots of TV channels, huge bathroom, quiet, cozy and warm room for a rainy winter’s night. I love the Pilgrim House.

I am so sorry to leave this review but the manager has dodged our in person, email and phone attempts to address a serious safety issue that occurred during our stay. I called and spoke with someone prior to our arrival to schedule our late night check in, which was confirmed via phone and email. When we arrived at 2am, there was no envelope left for us. We called the night manager on their emergency line repeatedly but he did not pick up (an employee later told us he had taken a sleeping pill). Eventually, we looked behind the front desk and found a list of all guests and their room numbers. Further, there was a shoe box of keys for every room underneath the desk. We took the key for our room. Essentially, the only reason we did not spend the night sleeping in our car was because of these really concerning safety issues.

Pilgrim House is a super convenient location in the heart of “downtown” Ptown! Since we took an earlier ferry, we were accommodated with an early check in which was great! Since there was a drainage issue with the tub, we were offered an upgrade to a larger and nicer room - also great! Have to give a shout out to Jameson who from the time he arrived made our stay so stay so much better. He immediately brought us more towels and an extra pillow, shared dinning recommendations and also served up refreshing cocktails! Staff also provided us with beach towels and chairs! We tried the onsite restaurant which was excellent and there are many live entertainment options onsite, as well. All in all, a fantastic stay!

We definitely enjoyed our stay. The room was perfect, small but quaint. It overlooked the Pilgrim Monument which was a nice touch. Property is right smack dab in the middle of Ptown central, so everything is close by. Easy walk from ferry. There's an elevator (yay!) and good AC. The bed is comfortable. The only strange thing is there were no amenities like ice or a small fridge. No coffee maker either. Strange because there seemed to be a restaurant associated with the property that was never open. I stayed after Labor Day, which may be a factor. Wonderful staff except for the Thursday morning guy.

The entire staff went to great lengths to ensure our stay was as comfortable as could be. The food at Rosie's, the in-house restaurant, was also amazing!!! Absolutely five stars. We will definitely be coming back!

We got to speak with the owner, she is a lovely lady very proud of her hotel, the front desk gentleman was also very nice and helpful, staff at the bar also very good, the hotel is very welcoming! Very central, good place to stay!
