What guests think

At Rodeway Inn Union, travelers describe an older, renovated motel that delivers clean, simple rooms and good value for short stays, with generally friendly front-desk service, though comfort and neighborhood impressions vary across stays.

Many reviews praise very clean rooms, while a smaller number report lapses such as lingering smoke odors, missed trash, or mold and mildew. Rooms are often updated and spacious, but beds can be very firm, and a few guests mention loud AC or late-night noise. The area is convenient to gas, fast food, and shopping, yet not very walkable and can feel rough to some. Overall, expect a no-frills budget stopover with some quirks.

The people who worked there was nice, but there was black mold in the room and there were crackheads outside all time of night asking everyone for a cigarette or change

The bed was clean and comfortable. The room was quite nice. However, despite the room being “non smoking” there was a terrible lingering stench of stale smoke. It even permeated my clothes after staying there. It was not pleasant. I moved to another motel on my final night, forfeiting my room cost. I just couldn’t stay another night in that smoky smelling room

Staff was helpful and friendly. Room wasn’t cleaned very well. We found trash and food by the edge of the beds. The A/C was not on when we arrived. The room was blistering hot and it took several hours to cool down. Made it tough to get to sleep.

This is an older facility that has been renovated. It was fine for an overnight stay. There was customers sitting outside their rooms hanging out, maybe because it was July 4th? Overall it was a good stay for me and my folks.
