Lovely clean room with a fabulous shower. Tea/coffee available 24 hours with a choice of milks which is great. Refillable glass bottle in the room to collect fresh water which meant no plastic bottles. Plenty of parking, cosy lobby and restaurant food excellent.

Very zen hotel. Acoustics not great. Great to have coffee, tea and water on each floor. Beautiful rooms and floors. Mattress a bit lumpy. Lovely landscaping outdoor seating and lobby. Highly recommend.

Staff was courteous. Room was clean and felt...warm and inviting. Decor is classy cozy and clean. Every floor has coffee station with tea and coffee instead of in the room making it convenient before venturing out. The Barn is nice. I visited in winter so the ground, firepit and pool, were closed at 10 degrees. Gym is nice and has enough to get a good workout in and is clean.

A delightful property in every way. We had comfy beds, lots of quiet (our rooms were adjacent to the elevator and we never heard a peep), loved the complimentary coffee, tea, and water. Enjoyed the public spaces and the restaurant. Easy parking, steps from Spring Street. I could go on and on, but the summary is I’d be so pleased to stay here again.

The Williams Inn is very close to Williams college and the Clark museum, both in walking distance. Very good food and services. The place is new or remodeled. Water and coffee available at each floor. I like the decor a lot. One thing that I didn't give a 5 stars is that the room clean service didn't clean the hard floor area. I did put a five dollar bill for tips before I left.

My rating reflects the fact that the room we were assigned first looked like it had been cleaned. We noticed the pillow cases looked they had been used. We then opened the bed and saw that in fact the bed was dirty with signs of dirt of the sheet. We then called the reception and they did give us another room right away which was clean. For an hotel of that class and price we felt it was unacceptable to give a dirty room to an arriving guest. The person at the reception was apologetic. We had breakfast/brunch there as well and the service at the restaurant was rather poor. We also noticed that coffee pots used by the waitress to serve us looked disgusting.

This was my first stay at the Williams Inn and I found it the coziest hotel I've stayed at! The furnishings are lovely and the lobby area very inviting (especially in the winter when the fire is always going). There's also - unfortunately, I didn't discover this until the end of my stay - a little nook area off to the side with books, games, and complimentary fruit water. The rooms were lovely and clean. The bathroom and shower were mostly clean except for some black spots near the bottom of one part of the shower wall and floor. The air unit for the most part actually kept the room temperature well controlled (which seems to be rare these days). In all, our little group enjoyed our stay and would definitely like another visit.

Rooms were new and very clean. However, they were not even a little bit soundproof. My room was by the elevator ans the beverage station and a group of people were being loud late at night (past midnight). I could hear them clearly

We did not care for the barn door to the bathroom. Wouldn't stay closed and large gap meant a loud radio or TV required... Otherwise, our stay was great and we would definitely recommend it.

Check in at front desk was with a person (male, not an Anglo name) who was very upset and rude. Badmouthed the hotel and the cleaning staff because they wouldn't return his walkie talkie message asking if room was ready. Not offered an upgrade, got a $7.00 bottle of wine. Not a big deal. It was very loud in the hallways at night and in the morning at 9 am by the cleaning staff.

They didn’t acknowledge our VIP. Had to spend hours with a Expedia rep and expedite to the manager to get acknowledgment for a bottle of wine and breakfast allowance. Not worth it.

This is the only hotel near Williams College but given that they have no competition it could have been much worse. They messed up our room type reservation (they gave us 2 queen beds instead of a king bed) and didn’t compensate us for that even though they said they would and we had to ask for our complimentary bottle of wine, but despite this, it’s still a nice hotel. Rooms are clean and restaurant is good. Very close to Williams College. I would stay again vs. staying further down the road at other hotels or at vacation rentals (which we’ve done).

Beautiful hotel, clean, modern, eco friendly, super convenient, quiet and just perfect! Really liked location - walkable distance to shops and restaurants and quiet and secluded at the same time. The Barn restaurant which is right next door - is wonderful! Delicious, proper size portions, fresh produce, yammie cocktails. Will definitely come back.

Excellent property would return but maybe make a reservation. Didn’t know we needed one and restaurant The Barn needs better management and food preparation. The atmosphere is wonderful but staff at the restaurant desk have poor customer service skills. Server for breakfast was great but half the plate was salad. Why? Dinner was underwhelming. The Inn was perfect and made the stay great!

This is the quintessential new england inn. Comfortable, well appointed, clean, and inviting. The proximity to Williams could not be better. We will stay here the next time we are at MassMOCA for an event. The restaurant serves excellent food and has the equivalent friendly service.

So impressive! I will never forget this amazing inn. The food is incredible, much better than many big restaurants! How can they cook so well?! The chairs, the plates.....all wonderful! My son and I had unforgettable breakfast there with snow fall! Everything is perfect! Definitely recommend this inn!

We loved staying in Williams Inn! The property was beautiful, the lobby fireplace a warm welcome from the frigid trip that took us there, and our room was very nice! The Barn restaurant had great food and drinks and I enjoyed being in the company of so many Williams College students and professors/parents.i would definitely stay here again!
