Rooms feel dated, with small bathrooms and sporadic problems like weak or broken AC, clogged showers, confusing TVs, or nonworking coffee makers, though many found them comfortable enough for a night. Facilities are minimal; drive-up parking is a plus, but amenities such as ice can be unavailable. The location is convenient near the freeway and convenience stores. Expect a simple roadside stay with uneven upkeep.

Old motor lodge. Very dated. Carpet was stained and they use very strong scented products to clean the room. No ice machine and the rooms were very dark.

5 stars for the value. We were comfortable. A/C and heater worked great. Plenty of hot water. We will likely stay again simply because of the price. Checkin was prompt and very friendly, and we love the fact that we can just back up right to our room door. Now...if not counting the value maybe 3 or 4 stars. Room was really not cleaned well...gum wrappers left on the headboard (pretty obvious) and some hair on the shower curtain. Office chair for the desk was broken and "almost" not useable. Bathroom is small and not a private area except for the shower and toilet. But again, we love the price and the convenience.

I have stayed here more than once and have not been disappointed. Very easy check-in and access to room. Comfortable bed. Quiet location. Fridge worked great. Shampoo comes in a plastic packet so if you are particular you might want to bring your own.

I love the old-school motels where you can park in front of your unit and unload easily. It feels safer somehow, and I like to be able to keep an eye on my car. This spot is a cute woman owned motel. She has a decorated with very cute coverlets, but it otherwise harkens to the mid century when the spot was built. It’s a bit shabby but very clean and it feels very safe. I would stay again without hesitation.

The bedspreads/blankets were outdated and had blood stains. The carpet had a huge tear right in the middle of the floor. The bathtub had someone else's hair in it. I killed 2 bugs on one of the beds. The bench outside was about to collapse and the picnic table was broken and missing a bench. After we went to dinner, our keycard didn't work and we had to get another one. An older man kept stumbling around knocking on doors until he found his room. The air conditioner didn't work properly and was old and dirty. Their ice machine was broken for a month so we had to buy ice. If we hadn't just drove for 10 hours, we would've stayed somewhere else.

Convenient parking right outside door, small town vibe. Quiet so we slept well. Bed and pillows firm. Room had slight musty/cigarette odor. A/C powerful and loud. A few rooms had window that opened...ours did not. Wish it did as we would have skipped the A/C.

The hotel was definitely dated, but it seemed fairly clean. Outside was nice, inside, not so much. Carpets were stained and loose in some areas. Bedding seemed clean, as did the majority of the room. Furniture was old. Tiles in the bathroom were cracked. Grout was old and dingy. Wall outlet was loose. When we arrived at 10pm, front desk person was slow to answer. No one was there in the morning at 7:30 for us to checkout, so we had to leave the room key in the drop box. Overall, it was sleepable for the night, but that's about it.

Hotel is a dump. Corners in bathroom were black. Bathroom door was shredded at the bottom. There were no tissues in the room. There was no house phone in the room. Motel is one level, door to parking lot. They put us in a room with a derelict truck parked in front making access more difficult.

We arrived late in the evening so didn't see properly the area of motel. The bedspread was stained and had cigarette burn hole. Mattress looked very old; however, it was comfortable given the sad state. Toiletries are on the cheap side. The bathroom is tiny and there was garbage behind the door and there were items left in the fridge by previous occupants. They need better cleaners. They need a major reno. Bathroom door is falling apart and caulking is a mess. There is a huge hole in the wall where the front door handle hits the wall. I think I will pay the extra money and go somewhere else next time. I don't know how they scored 8/10 on Expedia.ca.

It was clean for the age of the property. Cute bedspreads. The shower water pressure was GREAT! The bathroom was TINY and DATED and a little rough. The coffee maker did not work. To be honest, the exterior is creepy. Clean that up and it'll improve the vibe of the entire experience.

Bang on what we expected. Nice location, very quiet. Looks straight out of the 1950s; shame the 50s wall-integrated radio was dead. That would have been a fun thing to have working! Main down-side was that the coffee machine in the room didn't work - nobody around to tell in the morning. Cheap and cheerful. Would stay again if passing through. However, it does seriously need a revamp - be warned. If you like a throw-back, this is nice. If you want a modern hotel room with mod-cons; then avoid.

The guy checking me in hardly said anything except for asking for my credit card. I entered the room and there was already a guest in there. I apologized and went back to the front desk to request a different room. The guest I had walked in on also came to the front desk because his key wasn't working anymore. The front desk agent didn't apologize to either of us. He just gave the other guest the key I had used to enter his room and said it should probably work. I got a different room and the TV didn't work. The cleanliness was also sub par. I don't see myself returning.

This place it a dump. How is has a 8 out 10 rating is beyond me. I have never stayed at a hotel where there were no electric outlets near the head of the bed. In fact there were no outs on that entire wall. To use my CPAP machine I had to move the bed 90 degrees and push it against the opposite wall. When I moved the bed l noticed where the bed had been looked like it had never been vacuumed. In addition the caulking in the tub/shower was old and moldy. The next night down the road I stayed in a different motel that was also rated 8 out of 10 and was the same price. It was a night and day difference. Everything was clean, updated and had outlets everywhere you would expect them. It also offered free breakfast!

Pro: clean bed. Con: You get what you pay for. Carpet is horrible: dirty and looks filthy. Shower ok, toilet from the 70’s?

Rooms are clean and well maintained. Only complaint would be the parking lot could use an update. It’s quiet and the beds are comfortable.

The room had no bath towels. I didn't discover it until after I had a shower, so I had to dry off with hand towels. Sub-standard material condition: The vanity faucet leaked water when running the cold side. The desk chair was broken and leaned to one side. And the beds are rather hard. Other than that, it was adequate.
