This has to be the best place to stay in Key West. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The property grounds are beautiful - lush and green with orchids growing everywhere. The four pools make it easy to find someplace to relax. Minutes from everything on Duvall.

Great staff made for a great stay. Centrally located near Duval but quiet at night and safe. The entire staff was extremely accommodating of our needs which made for a very nice stay. Nice breakfast and offered amenities. 4 pools to choose from

My husband and I visited Key west for the weekend, our first time, and were pleasantly surprised by our entire trip. Simonton Court Inn was absolutely adorable. Perfectly nestled behind trees. The property was bigger than it appeared with 4 pools, breakfast patio, pool bar and perfectly styled rooms. The staff were kind and accommodating, bikes available for use and you can keep your luggage in the lobby and use the amenities on the day you check out, if you're catching the key west ferry out later that day. We had a great and time and will definitely be back.

This is tropical paradise in the middle of town! We were upgraded to a spacious cottage (2 bed, 2 bath) next to one of the 4 tempting pools with comfortable lounge chairs. The rooms are historic and charming. The staff (esp Hamza and Violet) were great - at checkin helping with parking, at breakfast, and ordering a "bag breakfast" for the morning we had to leave early. The cleaning staff and landscapers were unobtrusive but did a great job! We hope to stay there again!

Exceptional location. We were able to walk or bike everywhere! Lots of trees on the property made it extremely lush. Room was on a high floor. No elevators. Room door was extremely sticky and difficult to close and open the door. Thus it was loud. The bed is a little hard. We loved the ability to rent a bike for 24 hours. Best part they pump cool water into the pools during the hottest summer days!!!!

Simonton court has 4 pools that are open 24 hours a day, and all 4 were really lovely and quiet places to relax with tons of towels. The property is so luch & unique in design with many different buildings of different sizes & shapes. The breakfast included with our stay was an awesome way to start our first day of vacation with plenty of options served in the pool area. The one thing to note about Simonton Court is that it is quite old. The buildings are charming, but they are old & there are many steps to get to several of the rooms (no elevators). Just note that as you are booking! Parking was also not available on the property, so we booked in a public lot one block away (not a big deal, but something to be aware of).

Amazing property, breakfast is included and there are 4 glistening pools to choose from. We got a great rate for the room and they didnt charge us a penny more (no extra taxes or fees!) The room was clean and cozy, and the staff was kind and accommodating. The only con is that parking is limited, do if you have a vehicle you may need to park offsite. Other than that, I'd give this place 10 stars if i could!

This is an amazing set of cottages that were originally lodgings for workers in a cigar factory. The rooms are all private feeling with lots of greenery and brick walkways. The 4 pools are open 24 hours. The breakfast and afternoon happy hour are a lovely amenity We rented bikes from the hotel for a very reasonable rate and had an amazing time!

We really liked this property. There are 3 pools to choose from and it's very convenient to all shops and restaurants. My only complaints are parking and having to walk up 3 flights of stairs with luggage to our room. We booked this because it said it had parking available on the property only to find out when we got there that all the spots were taken and we had to park at a parking lot blocks away. If we had known this we would have booked elsewhere. Also, they should make people aware that if the room they booked is upstairs that they would have to walk up 3 flights of stairs to their room before they book. We managed it but older people would have a really hard time.

Pros: Overall the property was very charming. Cute pools and cottages. Landscape was very pretty and lush. It was nice to have a breakfast option, but the options were slim, but enough. Location is good and very close to everything. They offer filtered cold water which is nice not to have to buy water bottles. They offer happy hour art classes and the teacher--Eric is fantastic! Very fun perk! Cons: At first glance it looks clean, but when you start to look closer, not very clean. Could use a good deep clean. There are a lot of things falling apart or in disrepair. Many projects that could really make this place shine and feel more upscale and fresh. Some staff seemed kinda putout and a bit cynical-- not as service friendly as we hoped--especially for the price - others were fantastic. Parking is a hike if you don't buy on site - but I guess that is Key West for you.

Another great stay for us at Simonton! Complete perfection! All the staff are hard working and very courteous. Grounds and rooms are immaculate! I could go on and on! Simonton Court will always be our go to home away from home when we are in Key West! See you again soon!

Centrally located, convenient to Duval Street. Downtown. I would have given it a 5 star, but the ceiling fans were very dirty, and the white furniture needed to be cleaned.

We had a couple hiccups, but the staff was very professional and attentive with resolving the issues. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and staff went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. We will definitely be staying here again.

Simon ton court is one of the nicest places we have stayed. The room was very nice. Very comfortable and very clean. The staff was exceptional. When we go back we will be staying there.

My husband and I are from Marathon, 50 miles away and we traveled with another couple from central Fl. We rode our motorcycles down and the front desk was very accommodating offering to watch our luggage while we went to stroll Duval waiting for our room to be available. We later enjoyed the privacy of the pool while having poolside service. The rooms were very nice, reflecting historic Key West while offering modern amenities. Our friends room was overlooking Simonton and they noticed a lot of road noise during the evening, but they enjoyed their stay overall. Our room (suite) was in the middle of the property and seemed to be quieter. This was our first time staying there and we will definitely go back! Highly recommend.

Lovely and cozy place to stay. Great pool area with lots of plants and trees. In total we felt very welcomed and safe at Simonton Court. Just in case you have a light sleep we recommend you to stay somewhere else, because it was very bright and noisy during the nights.

Absolutely beautiful grounds with so much charm and character. The owners watercolour paintings were beautiful. We had a room at the back of the main house overlooking the pool with a large patio that had seating for 4 guests. It was so peaceful despite being a block away from Duval. Excellent location with everything you could want to see within walking distance. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. Above and beyond what we expected. Also delicious coffee which is rare when travelling. Loved the resident cat Mama that we were able to befriend by the end of our stay as well. The only thing that could be improved on is the extremely firm mattress and pillows we had which could also just be preference. Would certainly return again and consider one of the charming cottages on the property.

Simonton Court is an absolute gem in Key West. Its tucked away one short block from the action, but far enough that you feel like you are at a quiet resort and can actually get some sleep! The staff are all incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely want to make your stay better. We were upgraded to one of the cottages and WOW! Gorgeous space, super clean, comfy beds, kitchen has what you need to make a few small meals if you like. 4 small pools on the property offer lots of space and privacy, you never feel crowded here. The grounds are meticulously maintained, it feels like a hidden paradise. Also, a great bonus is the little morning "cafe" - fresh coffee, bagels, french toast, waffles, toast, yogurt and fruit, made to order and brought to you by the pool. Didnt expect that and it was such a nice addition to the stay. The only area of improvement is the wifi - it connects but its not strong enough to use - I had to use my hotspot to do any work. Not the biggest deal, but could be better. Overall, would highly recommend to anyone heading to key west, and we will definitely be coming back!

The property is beautiful with plenty of common space to spend time in. My biggest issue was the room itself. It needs a complete update. Being older and worn is cool some times but this was beyond that. I will request one of the smaller cottages the next time I stay. The actual location is one of the best on the island.

We had the most amazing stay here! The property is beautiful with the prettiest garden and orchids. Our room was lovely, the toiletries are great, the bed is very comfortable, and breakfast is fantastic. We appreciated the local bagels and many options. The hotel makes it easy to rent bikes since they are on site. The best part of the hotel has to be the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, especially Jonathan! He is the exact person you want as the face of your hotel. We look forward to another visit!

Quiet place and room was big with a double shower plus an outside deck ! Friendly staff and you cannot beat the location. One of our favorite places. Breakfast is limited but just enough to get you going.

First, the people were plain lovely, really felt welcomed! The room was vwry spacious, comfortable and had a great outdoor space right next to onw of the 4 pools. Like many places in the keys, the rooms was a bit old and showed its age. But it also had a lot of charm and very cozy

Wow! This will be our go-to for future KW stays. Perfect location. Beautiful grounds and room. Super comfortable. But really, it’s the people. From our first interactions over the phone setting up scooter rental, to the personal texts we got as our arrival neared to the front desk help radiating genuine happiness and helpfulness to the young lady helping us with breakfast: 12 out of 10. The room was beautiful and updated. The pools were clean and very convenient to the rooms. The beautiful garden walkway was amazing! The best part of our stay was the staff! Everyone was so friendly and went out of their way way to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. One in particular took the time to educate us on the gorgeous orchids on the property and because of Norman’s knowledge I plan on coming back again in April to see the beautiful orchids bloom. It by far was the best place I’ve stayed in Key West! Thank you Jonathon and all the staff!

This is a gorgeous historic place in Old Town. The staff was super—helpful, accommodating, professional and friendly. The included breakfast was ample and fresh. The grounds and rooms are lovely lush and charming—four beautiful pools and great A/C. Call ahead to reserve your parking if needed. We would definitely stay here, again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Simonton Court! From the moment we booked our reservation through check out there was exceptional customer service. When arriving we were greeted with friendly faces and Johnathan helped us bring all of our stuff to our room. Johnathan even upgraded our room. We were stunned at the beauty of the property with the lush gardens! Our room was so cute with a perfect sitting area and nice sized bedroom. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed being able to step right out of our room and be at a pool. The staff truly goes above and beyond to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Everyone we encountered was very nice and accommodating especially the staff running the complementary breakfast. This property was also in a great location where it was very quiet but a few short blocks to all the action. We cannot wait to come back for another stay!

When I stay in Key West I always stay at the Simonton Court, This place has the feel of the Keys, and when you leave, the experience stays with you, until you return again and again! The service is 5 Start from the moment you arrive, till you depart. This is my 1st and only pick when I'm in Key West!

Simonton Court is an absolute gem in Key West. Its tucked away one short block from the action, but far enough that you feel like you are at a quiet resort and can actually get some sleep! The staff are all incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely want to make your stay better. We were upgraded to one of the cottages and WOW! Gorgeous space, super clean, comfy beds, kitchen has what you need to make a few small meals if you like. 4 small pools on the property offer lots of space and privacy, you never feel crowded here. The grounds are meticulously maintained, it feels like a hidden paradise. Also, a great bonus is the little morning "cafe" - fresh coffee, bagels, french toast, waffles, toast, yogurt and fruit, made to order and brought to you by the pool. Didnt expect that and it was such a nice addition to the stay. The only area of improvement is the wifi - it connects but its not strong enough to use - I had to use my hotspot to do any work. Not the biggest deal, but could be better. Overall, would highly recommend to anyone heading to key west, and we will definitely be coming back!

The property is in a centralized location for everything that we wanted to do. We did not require a rental car. Duval Street is only a block away. The staff was great...very polite, helpful, and made you feel important. Would definitely stay there again.

Simonton Court is an oasis in the middle of the heart of Key West. It’s in walking distance to so many restaurants and shopping spots, but is also peaceful and serene with its own courtyard/backyard with pools and beautiful scenery. The staff is as accommodating as can be, and they really value the needs and desires of their guests. The house itself is a mixture of quant, beachy, and rustic. Definitely a pleasant experience, and I’m sure we will return.

We had the most amazing stay here! The property is beautiful with the prettiest garden and orchids. Our room was lovely, the toiletries are great, the bed is very comfortable, and breakfast is fantastic. We appreciated the local bagels and many options. The hotel makes it easy to rent bikes since they are on site. The best part of the hotel has to be the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, especially Jonathan! He is the exact person you want as the face of your hotel. We look forward to another visit!

The room was clean and cozy, and the staff was kind and accommodating. The only con is that parking is limited, do if you have a vehicle you may need to park offsite. Other than that, I'd give this place 10 stars if i could!

Laura at front desk is a jewel! Property is lush, tropical but well manicured. The man at Happy Hour great personality and good drinks. Love our pool side room. The location just off the wall and down the street from Schooner wharf is very convenient. Bed and room is also very nice and breakfast just great!

Amazing, awesome, spectacular and perfectly perfect best describes our stay at Simonton Court!!!!! Comfortable and beautiful accommodations and property. Customer Service was outstanding, felt like we were family from the moment we arrived. Breakfast by the pool and Happy Hour was an added bonus!

This place was amazing! Quiet peaceful place walking distance from everything. So much care was taken into consideration like lighting up all the candles by the pools and the porch at night. Walking back to the cottage at night was like walking into a serene tropical spa. Landscape was immaculate- varieties of tropical plants everywhere creating a canopy overhead and all around. Jonathan at the front desk was the absolute best.
