Aztec Ocean Resort

Location is great but the hotel is a little old and you can see it in the walls and around the pool! It was ok hotel to stay a couple of days!

The hotel has been there for a long time, the common areas and hallways show that, but the room was updated and clean. We chose a pool view balcony room for our stay, we could see the amusement rides and all the way to the ocean. The beds and pillows are probably ready for an upgrade to match the room. Overall our stay was fine. This is a great property, hopefully in the future it will redone overall. Other pros: right on the boardwalk and convenient parking.

Perfect stay at the jersey shore! Everyone was friendly and helpful. Everything was maintained and clean... and the best part was the fact that we parked our car on arrival and didn't get back in it until we left to go home... the view was spectacular and everything was so close... we will absolutely be back!

We stayed here for 3 nights and will absolutely return! The staff were very nice. They don’t clean the room everyday but the cleaning staff are present, helpful and available to get you anything you need. Everyone was honestly so sweet. The room was clean, the bed frames are metal which I really appreciated to reduce the likelihood of unwanted bugs of which there were none. The beds were comfortable. We brought our own pillows because we are old enough to get stiff necks but the pillows they provided seemed cushy enough. The shower was my favorite part. It felt like a luxury to have the rainshower, mister, handheld shower combo after a long day on the beach. Just a note to bring a stopper to block the drain if you need the tub. This is a problem in almost every hotel we visit so we just travel with one now but it could easily be purchased at the CVS down the road. Almost everything you need is in walking distance. We brought some paper bowls, spoons, Cheerios and milk and ate them on the picnic table overlooking the boardwalk every morning since breakfast options were limited at normal 5 y/o wake up time. Our kids loved the pool! It was a little chilly for us old folks but nothing you can’t get used to. I really liked the turf around the pool; cozy on the feet and the blue and green together just looked so much nicer than the usual concrete patio. You can’t beat the location. Boardwalk rides, arcade, restaurants, waterpark all within a block or 2. Can’t wait to return!

We always enjoy our stay at the Aztec. Perfect location in Seaside. Parked the car and didn't need it until we left to go home. Loved watching the sunrise from our balcony. Also, the complimentary beach badges are a wonderful amenity.
