Great location directly on the beach. Two of the three elevators were not working.

This hotel should not have been open for business. It was 2 days after the hurricane and they were charging normal rates for rooms that had no power or very limited power. No hot water, no TV. Unfortunately we booked via hotels.com and there was no recourse for refund. The front desk lady was very nice and apologetic. But there's was no manager on duty that could really help with our situation. Besides all that the hotel seemed to be very nice and clean.

Staff was nice and friendly. Everything was clean and the cleaning staff checked on me daily. The only complaint I have was the ice machine was on the 2nd floor and I stayed on the 7th floor

The hotel room was clean. Very spacious. Had a wonderful view from the balcony. I was charged at check in for my security deposit and then again at 2 am the next day. Management and staff acted like they didn't know what to do about this. Very frustrating to have to worry about getting the run around from a manager on a financial issue. Ultimately both charges fell off 2 days after check out. There were some details that were missed during the "renovation". Both entry door handles were loose and jiggly. The toilet paper holder was hanging out of the wall. There were no towel bars in the bathroom. At certain times of the day our bathroom had a nasty smell coming from the drain maybe? Not sure about that. Air was set on 66 when we arrived. One afternoon I set it to 74 as it was cloudy and the kids were cold. The floor became so damp my children were slipping and falling. They definitely need to add microwaves to the rooms. There is one in the lobby but who has time for that? Especially with the elevator issues. Out of the 2 at The Palm, only 1 worked. We actually got stuck on our floor, for less than 5 minutes, as maintenance was on site, thankfully! Pool area had so many cigarette butts on the ground, it was disgusting. Definitely need someone to clean that daily.

Our power kept going in and out in our room we would have to trim the breaker. Thank goodness I had an inverter box that I had brought to charge our phones throughout the night. Worst three nights of stay in Panama City ever. Staff would not do anything about it did not compensate us did not move us rooms after they promised they would move us rooms..
