Stayed 2 nights

We stayed Sep 6–8, 2026 for our daughter's 5th birthday. The resort itself is beautiful, but three serious incidents ruined the trip: 1. The pool party on our first day was cancelled without any explanation and was never rescheduled during our stay. 2. On the evening of Sep 7, the entire hotel lost power. No emergency lighting was provided, and our 5-year-old was very frightened sitting in the dark. 3. After the power was restored that night, our room's fire alarm malfunctioned and sounded continuously. Only our room's alarm on the whole floor was going off. I had to hold my crying child in the hallway while waiting for maintenance. For a trip meant to celebrate a child's birthday, this was deeply disappointing and far below the standard expected of a Disney resort. I would not recommend staying here for a special occasion until these issues are addressed.

I reserved for a partial view of the ocean but they put me in a room with no view at all. This hotel is over rated. Do this just for a one time thing for experience I guess but the rooms are just too overpriced and you won’t even get the room that requested sometimes. Not worth the 1 k a night in my opinion. Everything else is okay

Stayed 2 nights

The resort is excellent! We stayed here for two nights to celebrate my child’s 8th birthday. Robyn checked us in and she was so kind. We got an upgrade to a bedroom suite and when I told her my daughter was on the spectrum, she went above and beyond to communicate with my child. She even put a note on our file to let pool attendants know she would not be wearing a pool bracelet. The room was spacious and clean. Only issue is getting a lounger. That was annoying. But, it motivated us to stay in the water (pool and ocean) for longer and we made use of the cubbies to store our beach bag. Valet were very friendly! We had a great stay!

Lots to do on site for kids. My grandson liked the Lazy River the best. Good food options but also close to off site food options.
