Stayed 1 night

Pictures of the rooms online is not what we received. There were cobwebs and dust so thick on the walls and around the fixtures it was disgusting. Floor was so dirty like it hadn’t been mopped in at least a couple stays. Bathroom was moldy and so outdated. Made me think we may bring bed bugs home do we garbage bagged everything upon arrival back home and washed everything at the laundry mat. Not my way of how I wanted to end my vacation. Days Inn Wyndham should really look into having their name on this property as it really isn’t up to any standards I know of as a motel should be under those names. In the parking lot there was garbage, clothing, left over luggage and the maids had to use the dumpster that it was scattered in front of and never picked it up which made it look as though a homeless encampment was taking place there as well. Continental breakfast was listed and there was 2 kinds of sugar cereal offered, green bananas and a waffle machine for mini waffles. All the windows in the room had broken closure security and new twist rusted rinky dink ones installed that wouldn’t keep out a child. Random pieces of plywood covering holes I guess and painted over thru out the room. WIFI barely worked. For $280 a night I was shocked and I come from the Bay Area where I’m used to paying higher prices for things but this was a dump and not worth $100.

It was just okay. Not much for a breakfast. Seemed more like a motel.

Everything worked. Many of the costal town establishments don't provide A/C. It's not needed because of the cooler temps. However , with the windows open noisy outside neighbors can be a disturbance. This was the case with this property. The management needs to stress quiet hours.

CONS: Placed in room 143. Those rooms are across a back alley and in ear shot of the Cal Fire station radio speaker next door. Woke up each morning to radio traffic blaring across the alley. Bathroom shower head piping was rusted and the clear plastic shower temp knob had mold growing underneath. The bathroom vanity light fixture was resting on top of the mirror and not bolted in place. The front windows were unlocked upon arrival and barely could lock due to broken metal brackets. The bed frames are made out of metal and sound like thunder when you kick it getting out of bed. The fuse box was in the closet and missing the safety door. The satellite TV tuner was balanced on top of the flat screen tv and could easily fall. Basically the remodel seems like they “put lipstick on a pig.” PROS: The front office staff was polite and helpful. The location is in walking distance to most attractions.
