The staff was professional and friendly, the room comfortable, quiet, and restful. Changing reservations was a breeze. Parking was plentiful. The gym had all the necessary equipment for a good workout. Unfortunately, the pool was closed, and they only service the rooms every fourth day upon request. Still, I was able to get fresh towels and everything else I needed from either the front desk or the friendly housekeeping staff. Nice place to stay. I’ll definitely be back on my next trip to Waldorf.

Clean hotel and staff were super friendly and helpful. There are two downsides though. Breakfast is almost $20 a person. We have a family of 5 and it would have cost us $100 a day to eat breakfast. Im sorry, but that's a rip off! Plus it cost $10 a day to park in their parking lot.0 These two things were very disappointing and we will most likely not return for these two reasons

I don’t know how this location has a 4 star rating, it’s deceptive from what it actually is- it’s equivalent of a LaQuina but just WAY more expensive. Like others have mentioned, the downstairs and outside look gorgeous but everything else is a 25+ years old. The rooms smell like smoke, HVAC units in the rooms haven’t been cleaned and caked with dust, you have black mold in the bathrooms, carpets have stains everywhere, broken blinds, broken ice container, pool has been out of service for years, bugs randomly. Front desk staff is nice and tries to fix things but they can only do so much, the owner needs to step in. It’s a shame to call this a Hilton - future guests, book at holiday inn express in La Plata, it’s a much better and cleaner hotel only 10mins away.

The front desk employees were very kind and helpful, but it would be nice if the cleaning staff would actually clean. The carpets were absolutely disgusting, the rooms smelled like cigarettes, the bathrooms were gross, we had to catch the cleaning lady in the hall, so that she could hand us the cleaning products so we could clean our room ourselves. The money you pay doesn’t add up to the room you get.

As a business owner, I despise leaving bad reviews but the truth must be stated. My family and I were disappointed with the accommodation from this facility. Our ice bucket contained leftover water from the previous tenants. The tub tile had built up mildew. There was chewed up gum on the floor near the bed and bed ruffles were filthy. Aside from that the curtains had stains, there was no tissue or towels in the room. My husband had to go downstairs and ask for everything. On top of all that, we were frighten by a woman screaming in the halls threaten to kill her boyfriend. Uncertain what occurred IN the room,but she definitely let everyone know outside the room the consequences of his actions. However, the front desk and dinning staff were amazing. Their attitudes were pleasant and welcoming. I hate leaving this review because of the front desk and dining staff, but whoever clean the rooms did an awful job. Maybe they were short staff or tired. Uncertain,but that was our experience.

James was excellent!!! The night Houseman. What I didn’t like was when you get in the room it was 81 degrees called front desk maintenance came right up but to find out that there are sensors that controls the A/C!!! After that it was cold but they should tell you this prior to check in. The rugs in the rooms can be upgraded or taken out and the bathroom tub was dirty stained that could use an upgrade too! Bed was ok and the A/C unit was raggedly.

The lobby was new and beautiful bright and updated When I got to my floor it was dark and looked like a scetchy old hotel. There was so many marks on the doors and walls. The room was ok but every piece of furniture in my room had some type of damaged. It was crazy dusty It was outdated It was dark It was old It definitely was not what I was expecting when I booked a Hilton It gave off let me smack a coat of paint on the front and outside and forget the rest Staff is friendly and wonderful my issue had nothing to do with them at all. Oh and paying for parking in Waldorf.... I live in the area only went a night but to pay for parking in waldorf is crazy work .

This hotel need remodeling . The furniture was old and unsteady. The desk was very wobblie. Paint was chipped off all the furniture. TV viewing was awful. Could only get a few channels to come in. While watching a program, the station would just blank out. Never could get NBC. This was our 2nd stay there and will be our last. The first time was two years ago and had to wait three hours for our room to be ready. When I told them to cancel my reservation, miraculously the room was ready. Not worth the effort.

The menu for food options is extremely limited—literally 10 choices for dinner. Our first room had a malfunctioning thermostat; the young woman on front desk was excellent and tried to get it working and then moved us to a nearby room. The carpet was old and stained, and the desk was wobbly when I touched it. I also found some dried food on the side of the dresser. I have stayed here many times, but never again.

Everything was good but the entire hotel could use an update. Looked like the entrance got the update already but the rest of the hotel is waiting. Especially the bathrooms outdated. But they were Clean and everyone was very nice. Every hotel should be updated every 8-10 years.

I was so disappointed in this Hilton hotel. We arrived on a Saturday night - we had an event at Maryland International raceway - I had called to say we would be arriving after 9PM We arrived at 9:45 - woman at the desk was lovely- I requested a roll away bed - she said that I could expect that at 11 since she was working alone until then- she said she would call the room - at 11:10 I received a call stating the bed was on the way - at 11:45 I went to the front desk stating the bed had not arrived- I was told by a gentleman (I wish I had gotten his name) that getting a bed would be a while - I explained the previous situation - he stated that a person came in that needed a handicapped room and none was available so that the woman I had previously spoke to went to the room to set it up - I told him I was confused as I received a call saying that the bed was coming and I needed to listen for it He told me that since I checked in later in the day there were not enough people to meet all requests - if this is true I wish I was informed when I called earlier in the day that there would be no service after 10PM I wish this gentleman would have have shown compassion, some understanding, some apology - when i said it was almost midnight and I wanted to go to sleep, he said he could not guarantee anything but he was hoping 30 minutes and I could come back if it didnt happen . The rollaway showed at 12:20 by the original woman.

Check in was sub par for a Hilton. Digital key was offline I was given hard keys without my room info or hotel information (breakfast, pool location, where elevators were). Had to ask. She was nice but lacked initiative providing the information that I know Hilton does at one properties as I’ve been an active member for years. Rooms need updating. Layout is not great either (bathroom door opens to the room door). Wallpaper, old/stained carpet. Wouldn’t stay at this specific location again for the price.

The clerk who checked us in was rude. We arrived 20 minutes prior to the check-in at 3pm. When asked if we could possibly check in early she smacked her lips and pointed to the check-in time of 3pm. I was aware of the check in time but most of the time the hotels are accommodating for an early check-in . The attitude I received was not needed. In addition the room sink had a huge crack in the sink.

No service! I had to find the cleaning lady for fresh towels each day. Only one hand towel, I guess to share. Ran out of tissue; call for replacement, line goes to voicemail that was full and couldn’t take messages. I had to put trash in the hall to be removed. Phone went to voicemail during my entire stay. The lady that checked me in was very nice and pleasant to talk with.

Front desk (Ty or Tay) was amazing. He was very helpful in assisting us with everything going on in the hotel. He just went above and beyond and not only with my group.. he was assisting other people as well as I was checking in. Clearly a knowledge base for the hotel. One of the best check in experiences I have had.

Renovation/cleanliness is desperately needed. Furniture was chipped, carpet had stains, picture had long strand of hair coming out! The bathroom door would not close all the way, wallpaper was peeling. Room smelled like smoke! Didn’t even complain because they were playing Latto when we walked in. The price needs to be discounted for what they offer!

I thought there was a pool, but that's on me, I read the hotel description wrong. They took it out in 2022. You do have to pay for parking m, but it's only $10. Great location, plenty of stuff around! The hotel was very quiet, not like some other places I have stayed and it sounded like horses running in the hallway. None of that here!! Would stay here again!!
