What guests think

At Ramada by Wyndham College Station, reviewers consistently note very clean, spacious, generally quiet rooms and a handy location near Texas A&M, highways, and dining, which together make it a solid value-focused choice for many trips.

Facilities are basic, with a small pool, limited gym equipment and occasional issues (slow or single elevator, broken treadmill), plus a business center some found underpowered. Breakfast feedback is mixed: many enjoyed hot items like waffles, eggs, and sausage, while others found the selection limited or the coffee lacking. A few guests mentioned dated room furnishings, very soft or lumpy pillows, intermittent noise, and some front desk delays; overall, expect a no-frills base for College Station visits.

Overall, if you’re looking for reasonably-priced accommodation, this is a solid choice. Nothing overly fancy, just a clean, comfortable (for the price) hotel that checks all the boxes for a low-budget business trip. Room was clean with a fairly comfortable bed and basic accommodations (fridge, tv, coffee, etc). My only complaints (if you’re even allowed to have any for $70-$100/night) would be that I’d like another pillow or larger pillows, better computers in the business centers (slow!), and maybe some salsa or cheese for the eggs at breakfast. Overall though, it was a comfortable stay with friendly staff and value for spend.

It was a great stay, the parking was safe. A little funky on how to get to the parking lot depending on the direction you were coming from, not horrible. The staff was kind, helpful, accommodating and the room was comfortable. I’d recommend it and will probably stay again when visiting my daughter at TAMU.

It was close to A&M for moving in our freshman and navigating around to pick up supplies etc. It was a great central location. Didn't like the business center as the computers couldnt support things like word or excel, and the fitness room wasnt much more than a couple pieces of cardio equipment, no real weights or versitile cable machine.

This hotel met our every need! It was clean, quiet, and very safe. See the pictures, the rooms look exactly like what you see. This is not a luxury hotel by any means but a PERFECT budget-friendly family hotel. The complimentary breakfast has plenty of choices, all served at the right temp. Staff is constantly cleaning the hotel and in the breakfast area. The pool was super - small but more than enough for us to enjoy a dip. We plan to go back!

Room 211 - The room itself was clean. I am in love with the spaciousness of the room. I felt like I could stretch out get comfortable and not feel like I am closed in a box. Even though I did not have time to use, I did like their is an on-site gym. The elevator is slow, and there is only one on the property. The housekeeping staff was nice. The area surrounding the hotel is nice with retail in walking distance and access to the freeway (I was here for my son's basketball tournament).

I have stayed at the Ramada by Wyndham in College Station several times now with my children. It is always clean, quiet, the staff is friendly, check-in is always quick, and rooms are always clean and fresh (I check under sheets, bathtub, etc as a habit). The price has always been very reasonable. I have nothing but high praise for them.

The room was clean and comfortable and the property was very nice. The staff were very professional and friendly as well. Housekeeping was great. There is also a pool and small gym on property. Breakfast is also served in the morning. I highly recommend this location if you are staying in College Station.

This hotel had good service, but the rooms really need to be updated. The pillows on the bed were awful as well. My neck was really hurting when I woke up. Price is a bit at the high side for what you get. Can hear traffic noise in the room. Limited choice for the included breakfast. In the middle of the night like 3am, I can hear a heavy person stomping in his/her room and the room I slept in shakes. Then I hear someone opening and closing drawers multiple times and then stomping again. Luckily this only lasted about 20 to 30 minutes. I would call the front desk if it lasted longer.

I love this place. It is our hidden treasure when we go and visit our Aggies. My son (9) loves the breakfast and the pool. The Texas waffles are perfect, and, the rooms are quiet. They always do well getting me far from the elevator and on a higher floor. My only complaint is that they now have started sending out an obnoxious check-out text on the morning of your departure. Getting a text asking "will you be leaving at 8, 8:15, 8:30" is phenomenally rude. It is a Ramada thing now, since the hotel I stayed at 2 weeks ago in Kansas did the same thing. Nonetheless, so rude to harrass people like this. They are trying to sell a late checkout, fine. But, giving people 15 minute increments to leave is ridiculous. And, at this establishment, I STILL had housekeeping knocking on my door at 10 AM. There is no reason for this. It was a Tuesday morning, early August. There was barely anyone there. I am going back helping with move-ins in 2 weeks. I booked a different hotel with similar features in the exact same area. If they don't harass me the morning of check out, they will be my new College Station go-to. It has been a great 3 years with Ramada, but, this is ridiculous.

Overall very clean and good service. Big issue. We came to counter to check in and front desk young lady got on a call with a woman asking pots of questions about fares, meals etc but told the lady told her she was looking at fares on Hotels.Com. We waited well over 15-20 minutes while she actually booked her with same fare woman was looking at on Hotels.Com! Had two others in line behind me. Totally unnecessary. She should have told the woman she had a line checking in and would she hold or call her back. That was really bad and unprofessional. She never even apologized until I made a comment after she finally hung up. Otherwise she was very nice to us. I just think she handled that wrong

Kudos to your staff at this location!!!

I was in town with a small group teenagers for a sports event and stayed here because that's where the school booked rooms. I'll be honest, I normally wouldn't have chosen a Ramada and especially with how cheap the room was. I went into it not expecting much at all. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was! The lobby was quiet and spotless. The employees were very nice and professional. The room was spotless, as was the bathroom. The bed was comfortable enough but the pillows were just okay. As far as road noise, I didn't notice any other than in the morning but it was quiet through the night. The kids staying next to us sounded like a herd of elephants but like I said, I was there with teenagers. No fault of the hotel. The pool was clean and looked to have a decent size gym. The breakfast was basic but it's better than nothing. I've stayed other places that cost me WAY more for WAY less. I'd definitely stay here again!
